The true voice of reason is Allen West. The man knows exactly what to say!

Allen West say that Eric Holder and the DOJ doesn’t understand Federalism and the 10th amendment, and that Florida is only seeking to have integrity in its voting process and not be embarrassed again like it was in the year 2000. West also said that Obama is using Holder as his henchman in these matters and that Holder is a national embarrassment.

The Scandal that is ObamaCare…

Today’s Wall Street Journal has a nauseating — but must-read – account of the cronyism and collusion that underlay the passage of ObamaCare.
It’s a scandal, and a revealing glimpse into the way business is conducted in the nation’s capital.  Those with the money and connections get special carve-outs to protect (and even enhance) their interests; the rest of us get legislation none of us wanted.

(CNSNews.com) – Embattled Attorney General Eric Holder told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday that he has “stuck by my guns” during his time in office.

“I’ve enjoyed my time as attorney general,” he told the panel. “It’s been a tough job. It is one that takes a lot out of you. Some raised concerns as to whether I was tough enough for this job. I think that people will hopefully see that I’ve done this job in a way that is consistent with our values.”

He was responding to Sen. Herb Kohl (D-Wis.) who asked Holder if he would consider serving a second term as attorney general if Obama is reelected.

“I stuck by my guns,” Holder continued. “I’ve been criticized a lot for the positions that I’ve taken. I’ve lost some. I’ve won more than I’ve lost. I’m proud of the work that I’ve done. More important, I’m proud of the 116,000 people in this United States Department of Justice. This has been the highlight of my career to have been the attorney general of the United States, to work with you all and to serve this president. What my future holds, frankly, I’m just not sure.”

Holder threat???? Yes, I think so!

The Blaze:

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder was back on Capitol Hill Tuesday in part to discuss the potential contempt charges threatened against him, which lawmakers say stem from the Justice Department’s lack of cooperation in the investigation of the failed federal gun-walking operation, Fast and Furious.

However, Holder now says he is willing to work with Republican lawmakers in order to avoid the charges – or as he called it, the “impending constitutional crisis.”

During the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) asked Holder for the DOJ’s (Department of Justice) stance on the recently leaked wiretap applications relating to Fast and Furious and whether his department was willing to provide additional documents. Surprisingly, the attorney general seemingly extended his hand to the GOP saying, he is prepared to make “compromises with regard to the documents that can be made available.”

“I want to make it very clear that I am offering – I myself – to sit down with the Speaker, the chairman, with you, whoever, to try and work our way through this in an attempt to avoid a constitutional crisis, and come up with ways, creative ways, in which to make this material available. But I’ve got to have a willing partner. I’ve extended my hand, and I’m waiting to hear back,” Holder said in response to a question posed by Grassley.

Hunger Games: Vote who gets to attend Obama dinner….

“We’re adding a twist to the upcoming Dinner with Barack,” the latest fundraising email from the Obama campaign reads, informing supporters they now get to “vote” on who the President will have as a guest.

“You not only have the chance to sit down for a meal with the President and a guest of your choice. You also get to help pick the President’s guest.” the fundraising email from Deputy Campaign Manager Julianna Smoot reads.

“Bonus points if you vote for me. (Just kidding.)” Smoot concludes.

Apparently you have to donate in order to vote, so at this point it’s unclear who is winning.

Hmmm…at some point, unions stopped representing their own worker members and starting shilling for the left and all the causes the left espouses!

The Hill:

The nation’s largest labor federation plans to mount an aggressive campaign against voter identification laws in a half-dozen battleground states that will be key in the presidential election.

AFL-CIO Executive Vice President Arlene Holt Baker told reporters on Tuesday that the labor federation will have boots on the ground registering and helping voters in Florida, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in coordination with the group’s political program.

Labor is pushing back against voter ID laws, which they say suppress voting by minorities, the elderly, the poor and students. Supporters of the measures say showing identification to vote is needed to crack down on fraud and protect the integrity of elections.

Baker said the AFL-CIO would execute its “most aggressive push” yet against the ID laws in 2012.

The AFL-CIO plans to partner in voter-protection efforts with groups like the NAACP, the National Council of La Raza, Generational Alliance and the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement.

“In the past year, we have seen more states pass more laws pushing more voters out of the ballot box than we have seen in a 12-month period in the past century,” said NAACP President Benjamin Jealous.

RUSH ARCHIVE: The unions going down the tubes yesterday, that’s the lesson. Every Republican governor ought to now have a spine of steel, and Walker… Even TIME Magazine made this point: Walker did it by what? Not compromising! He didn’t compromise one time with anybody on the left. He stood fast on everything he believed. Yeah, he got 38% of union households. He didn’t compromise. The Republican establishment technique, the Republican establishment handbook to reach across the aisle and compromise to get the independents?
Scott Walker said, “(Raspberry) to that,” and he wins by seven points. … Walker did not compromise one thing. Every Republican governor in this country now ought to have a spine of steel. The Republican establishment should have learned something major.
RUSH: Let’s go to Sunday morning, Fox News Sunday. Mitch Daniels, the governor of Indiana. Chris Wallace said, “Is this some sort of watershed that we’re seeing right now? Are voters across the country giving state and local officials the green light to go after, or at least curtail, public unions?”
DANIELS: You know, there’s a reason that defenders of labor from Franklin Roosevelt, to George Meany, to many others always said that unionism had no place in the public sector; that it was a necessary freedom in the private sector, but that it was a bad idea in government.
WALLACE: Are you saying that you would like to see no public worker unions?
DANIELS: I think, really, government works better without them.
RUSH: Hear, hear! And all it took was one election. Nothing against Mitch Daniels, and I don’t know that what I’m gonna say is true, but would he have said that had this recall not happened? Now, obviously he wouldn’ta said it if Walker had lost. But my point is: If the fight hadn’t occurred, if somebody hadn’t paved the way, would this line of thinking even be articulated? You think there’s anybody out there in Republican circles with guts enough to say (in a vacuum), “We gotta get rid of these state employees’ unions. They’re killing us.” Now, once Scott Walker beats ‘em back, it’s, “Katie, bar the door!” Now we can all join the chorus. Now we can all join the club.
This is exactly what I predicted was gonna happen: Newfound spines of steel. And it wasn’t just Mitch Daniels. Let’s move forward to
