The first step to a cure is recognizing that you have a disease. You’ll need a diagnosis before you can get a prescription.
If you’re a liberal who is out of touch with reality, we really can’t do much to help you until you are at least willing to admit it. If you’re exhibiting any one of these 6 symptoms, then you can safely diagnose yourself as an out-of-touch liberal and seek treatment immediately.
1. You think that George W. Bush caused the recent recession
You’ve probably heard the narrative promoted by the wigglejaws on MSNBC: George W. Bush caused that terrible recession that we just experienced!
What, pray tell, did George W. Bush do to cause that recession? His signature economic legislation, including the Bush tax cuts, was passed in 2001. More tax cuts were passed in 2003. How did either of these laws cause a recession which began in 2007?
The fact is this: a bunch of banks made stupid real estate loans. The real estate market crashed, and everything went sour. George W. Bush had nothing to do with it.
2. You get your news from Jon Stewart
Jon Stewart is a funny guy. That’s the problem if you get your news from him. He’s a funny guy. He’s not a news anchor. He pretends to be one, of course, but that’s part of the act.
Maybe you should consider getting your news from a news source instead of a comedian.

President Obama needs your help starting World War III! Find out how you can help!
The Washington Post has an article about local militias in Mexico which are beating back drug cartels when the government doesn’t seem interested in it. The citizenry began their operations with sling shots, machetes and old hunting rifles, but they’re arming themselves more appropriately with the weapons that they take from from the cartels;
“We are coming together with only one thing in mind: Kill or be killed,” said the doctor, JoséManuel Mireles, 55, who described what is happening as an armed social movement and estimated that thousands of citizen-fighters are pursuing the gangsters into the hills. “The only training we have is the courage we have inside.”
The rise of the self-defense movement in Michoacan is a desperate reaction to an increasingly oppressive drug cartel and to the security vacuum created as [President] Peña Nieto took office last year seeking to avoid a direct confrontation with the cartels.
As with everything that seems to work effectively, the government is trying to disarm the militia groups;
In Tepalcatepec, a core group formed that included many cattle raisers angry that the cartel was about to take over their association’s governing board. They decided to make their stand at the semiannual association meeting.
“When those criminals climbed onto the stage, we said, ‘How is this possible? We are many, and they are so few,’?” Reyes said.
Hidden shotguns and even machetes came out, and the crowd swarmed 15 men whom they recognized as gang members. Amid clashes over the next hours and days, locals detained many more, handing them over to the state prosecutor in the town of Apatzingan, a cartel stronghold.
After 12 hours, however, the prisoners were released.
Since then, Mireles said, “we decided not to detain anyone anymore.”
That’s probably a lesson we should apply to our Guantanamo experience.

Putin ties a deal of Syrian chemical weapons to U.S.calling off any military strike.
Syria’s foreign minister said Tuesday that Damascus is ready to sign an international agreement banning chemical weapons and pledged to open its storage sites and provide full disclosure immediately.
“We fully support Russia’s initiative concerning chemical weapons in Syria, and we are ready to cooperate. As a part of the plan, we intend to join the Chemical Weapons Convention,” Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem said in an interview with Lebanon-based Al-Maydeen TV.
He said Syria was “ready to fulfill our obligations” under the terms of the treaty, including providing information about Syria’s chemical weapons.

Obama Halves Military Pay Raise
The GOP-controlled House recently passed a 1.8% pay raise for military personnel. It’s not much, but it’s something in a stagnant economy. Meanwhile, however, Barack Obama lifted the freeze on federal worker pay, allowing for a 1% increase. And he’s extending that to the military, which means instead of an already meager 1.8% raise, military personnel will get just 1%.
The timing couldn’t be worse. Obama is struggling to gain traction for his plan to attack Syria—which, by the way, would require the use of military personnel. On top of that, the U.S. sent humanitarian aid to Syria to the tune of $1,010,354,195 in fiscal years 2012 and 2013. In other words, he’s aiding jihadis opposed to the Syrian regime, and even wants war on their behalf, all while keeping U.S. military pay down.
