Most definitely will have to actually go to a fast food place (I rarely go to such places, except maybe for a coffee) for this!
Burger King, home of the Whopper and, at least for a limited time, the bacon sundae.
The AP reports that BK will launch the treat — which has fudge, caramel, crumbled bacon and a full piece of bacon — later this week, along with other limited time items.
It has 510 calories, 18 grams of fat and 61 grams of sugar, but we’re guessing that these numbers won’t discourage the bacon-curious from giving it a try.
In addition to the sundae — already available in Nashville — BK will be offering the following through Sept. 3 (or while supplies last) :
— Memphis Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich.
— Carolina BBQ Whopper or Chicken Sandwich.
— Texas BBQ Whopper or Chicken Sandwich.
— Sweet potato fries.
— Frozen Lemonade.

There are many who insist that one particular form of societal organization is “more fair” than others. That’s the apparent underlying theme of the “Occupy” movement that has been making headlines the past year.
Yet when one looks around the world and back in history, it is difficult to find a society that was not stratified, with a few having more and most having less. Even tribal societies exhibit this trait. There may not have been a lot of “more” to possess, but to the extent it existed, more was concentrated in the hands of the tribal elders and leaders.
Be it ancient Egyptian, Mayan, Minoan, or other old cultures, or the states of the 21st century, we simply don’t have any examples that have distributed a society’s wealth equally among its citizens.
The main difference among the various options for government seems to be the basis on which the unequal distribution is made.
In tribal societies, authority was held by either the elders, where status was often passed by lineage, or by outright acquisition of power through force. As societies grew, there was a natural transition to monarchies. (Though they still exist today, they are largely now ceremonial or exercise whatever authority they still have though another form of government.)
In a pure communistic system, the government is the sole arbiter of who gets what. Inevitably, whatever power and wealth exists in the society resides in the hands of those who have risen through the ranks of the monopolistic political structure. They typically either are unelected or “win” one-party elections.
Even if their personal income appears modest, their lifestyle is supported by the government. They have the best, and often multiple homes; access to exclusive shops and services unavailable to the public; and easy access to transportation, vacations, aides, and assistants along with a host of other advantages unknown to the “99%” in that society.
Socialist societies offer similar advantages to the powerful, but typically through a mix of government-business partnerships. Deals are made, inevitably in favor of those businesses that directly or indirectly support the government, and the anointed ones live in high style.
Other than including the business element, the main difference between communist and socialist forms of government is that the latter have multiple political parties. The party in power can and does change over time, but the method of allocating unequal portions of wealth in a society to a relative few still heavily resides with the government.
On the other side of the equation is capitalism, though no country in the world has such an economic system in its pure form. Here, winners and losers are decided by “the market.” Bill Gates became fantastically rich by starting a company that brought the personal computer to the masses. Henry Ford created his wealth by introducing mass production of automobiles. People in Hollywood came to their good fortune by making movies and TV shows the public enjoys watching. In short, wealth is often made by offering an affordable product or service that is appreciated by the public on a wide scale.

I have been reporting to you about how President Obama’s UAW bailout threw tens of thousands of nonunion autoworkers under the bus since September 2010. It’s the real-life horror story of some 20,000 white-collar workers at Delphi, a leading auto parts company spun off from GM a decade ago. As Washington rushed to nationalize the U.S. auto industry with $80 billion in taxpayer “rescue” funds and avoid contested court termination proceedings, the White House auto team schemed with Big Labor bosses to preserve UAW members’ costly pension funds by shafting their nonunion counterparts. In addition, the nonunion pensioners lost all of their health and life insurance benefits. The abused workers — most from hard-hit northeast Ohio, Michigan and neighboring states — had devoted decades of their lives as secretaries, technicians, engineers and sales employees at Delphi/GM. Some workers have watched up to 70 percent of their pensions vanish.
It is important to keep telling the story of their continuing legal nightmare because the White House keeps telling fables about the “success” of the pro-worker auto bailout. The Delphi workers are fighting Chicago-style collusion and corruption. And their most recent court battle exposes, once again, the fantasy of Obama’s commitments to real fairness and transparency.
The latest from the Delphi Salaried Retirees Association:
Delphi Salaried Retirees Receive 62,000 Pages of Documents from Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation in Lawsuit
Emails and reports finally released 20 months after federal judge first ordered PBGC to participate in lawsuit’s discovery phase. PBGC states it will produce a second batch of documents by end of June
Retirees believe Obama’s Auto Task Force directed PBGC to unjustifiably and illegally terminate pension plan in 2009
Government officials’ refusal to disclose how decision was made ignores Obama directive that “transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency.”
Release Date: Monday, June 11, 2012
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Twenty months after Federal U.S. District Judge Arthur Tarnow ordered in September 2010, that salaried retirees of auto parts maker Delphi Corp. were entitled to conduct discovery in their lawsuit against the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, the PBGC on Thursday finally made its first document production, turning over approximately 62,000 pages of emails and documents. The pension agency said it would make a second production of a similar size by month’s end. The materials concern the PBGC’s 2009 termination of the pension plan of more than 20,000 current and future salaried Delphi retirees during the auto bailout, resulting in the reductions of earned pensions by as much as 70 percent.

The president is going.
The first lady is going.
First daughters Sasha and Malia will be there.
But Desiree Rogers, the first African-American to become the White House Social Secretary, has been dissed.
Translation: Rogers has not been invited to the backyard Kenwood wedding this weekend for the daughter of the ultimate White House insider/Rogers’ former “closer-than-glue” best friend, White House senior advisorValerie Jarrett.
“It’s so sad. Desiree and Valerie were once so close; family close,” said a friend of Rogers, who is now CEO of Johnson Publishing — one of the nation’s most prominent African-American Media companies.
Rogers, who saw her White House career careen into disarray for being “too glamorous” and promoting her version of “The Obama Brand” during President Barack Obama’s first year in office, has once again run into a sharp elbow.
“Desiree is not going and has not been invited,” said a top Sneed source.
Apparently Desiree Rogers’ brand is no longer sought.
Is that lack of brand recognition coming from Jarrett or did the nudge come from Michelle Obama, who felt there could be only one diva in the White House?
Sneed is told it was Valerie Jarrett who was given marching orders by Michelle to get Rogers to resign; White House strategist David Axelrod also wanted her gone.
It didn’t help Rogers’ cause to dress in boffo designer-wear in “The People’s House,” call the first lady “Michelle,” or assign herself her own table at a state dinner.

Obama probably privately praising stuff like this! After all, he does want the state of Israel and the Jews wiped off the face of the earth. Plus it shows thinking people that all islamics are like this!
(IBT) — Children attending an Islamic jihad-run kindergarten in Gaza celebrated their graduation by wearing army uniforms “to recognise the importance of Palestine and its enemy”, an Israeli online daily reported.
During the graduation ceremony, the children wore uniforms of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine’s armed wing, the al-Quds Brigades, and carrying toy rifles they had received as presents while they chanted anti-Israeli slogans, the Israeli Ynet reported.
Many of the relatives who attended the ceremony are members of the Islamist group or other Palestinian political factions, according to the report.
“It is our obligation to educate the children to love the resistance, Palestine and Jerusalem, so they will recognise the importance of Palestine and its enemy,” the kindergarten’s director was quoted as saying.
“I’ll fight the Zionist enemy and fire missiles at it until I die as a shaheed [martyr] and join my father in heaven,” said a child named Hamza. “I want to blow myself up on Zionists and kill them on a bus in a suicide bombing.”

Soon, in NYC, one will not be able to order any food or drink! Instead, city union jerks will give you something whether you like it or not!
MYFOXNY.COM – The board hand-picked by Mayor Michael Bloomberg that must approve his ban of selling large sugar-filled drinks at restaurants might be looking at other targets.
The New York City Board of Health showed support for limiting sizes of sugary drinks at a Tuesday meeting in Queens. They agreed to start the process to formalize the large-drink ban by agreeing to start a six-week public comment period.
At the meeting, some of the members of board said they should be considering other limits on high-calorie foods.
One member, Bruce Vladeck, thinks limiting the sizes for movie theater popcorn should be considered.
“The popcorn isn’t a whole lot better than the soda,” Vladeck said.
Another board member thinks milk drinks should fall under the size limits.
“There are certainly milkshakes and milk-coffee beverages that have monstrous amounts of calories,” said board member Dr. Joel Forman.
Mayor Bloomberg says the drink rules are an attempt to fight obesity in the city. It would limit food service establishments in the city from serving drinks bigger than 16 ounces but would allow refills.

The Useless Nations would be wiped out by American patriots if the present president, or any future president, dared to go along with this!
Diplomats at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Conference in Rio de Janeiro next week will consider proposals that would levy taxes on American families and energy industries in order to support international efforts to combat global warming, according to a draft agenda for the conference.
“We recognize that subsidies for non-renewable energy development should be eliminated and replaced with a global tax on the production of energy from non-renewable energy sources,” the UN draft agenda, amended by non-governmental organizations at the invitation of the UN, says. “The income of this tax should be allocated to renewable energy development.” The draft agenda was obtained by the Center for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT), a group skeptical of the UN’s position on global warming.
President Obama has adopted similar policy positions in his discussions of energy and tax policy over recent months. “I am writing to urge you to take immediate action to eliminate unwarranted tax breaks for the oil and gas industry, and to use those dollars to invest in clean energy to reduce our dependence on foreign oil,” Obama said in an April 26 letter to top-ranking members of the House and Senate.
Another proposal would spread the cost of investing in other countries throughout society. “We call for the fulfilment of all official development assistance commitments, including the commitments by many developed countries to achieve the target of 0.7 per cent of gross national product for official development assistance to developing countries by 2015,” the draft says. The proposal would provide “a target of .015 to .020 percent of gross national product for official development assistance to least developed countries.” That plan would cost $1,325 for an American family of four, according to CFACT.
