Old Bubba once in a while speaks some good truths. This is one of those times!
(NEW YORK POST) — Bill Clinton thought so little of President Obama — mocking him as an “amateur” — that he pressed his wife last summer to quit her job as secretary of state and challenge him in the primaries, a new book claims,
“The country needs you!” the former president told Hillary Clinton, urging her to run this year, according to accounts of the conversation included in Edward Klein’s new biography of Obama.
The title of Klein’s explosive, unauthorized bio of Obama, “The Amateur” (Regnery Publishing), was taken directly from Bill Clinton’s bombshell criticism of the president, the author said.
“Barack Obama,” Bill Clinton said, according to book excerpts, “is an amateur.”
The withering criticism is incredible, given the fact that Bill Clinton is actively campaigning for Obama’s re-election.
But according to the book, Bill Clinton unloaded on Obama and pressed Hillary to run against her boss during a gathering in the ex-president’s home office in Chappaqua last August that included longtime friends, Klein said.
“The economy’s a mess, it’s dead flat. America has lost its Triple-A rating . . . You know better than Obama does,” Bill said.
Bill Clinton insisted he had “no relationship” with Obama and had been consulted more frequently by his presidential successor, George W. Bush.
Obama, Bill Clinton said, “doesn’t know how to be president” and is “incompetent.”
Good Morning to all! Yes, we went to the gym. But cut the time short there as wife and her sister were going to Des Moines for a hen gathering. But after leaving the gym, heading home, her sister calls and says she is not feeling well and won’t be going. So wife was going to go by herself (not me! not invited) as I said I am not going to drive to Des Moines, drop you off and then drive back home. Only to repeat late this afternoon. My wife thought about it and she decided not to go either. So both will stay home and take it easy.
Her son and our grandkids are coming up this evening for the weekend. Probably the last time, as they are in the entire process of moving to Denver. He and his wife work for the same bank and both got transferred to Denver. He will be bringing their two laptops so I can clean them up and get back some speed. Plus see what can be done about adding more RAM to each. Told him, leave best buy alone! He went there and they talked him almost into leaving the laptops as they said they can optimize both and add memory, etc etc. Told him, way cheaper than letting those dumbasses to let me clean them up, speed them up, and see what memory you need.
See these islamics, CAIR? Speak one thing in english in the USA, go overseas and say something different in arabic! They are a pox and need to be shut down!
Lamis Deek [CAIR board member]: “People interested in attacking the Arab and Muslim communities, and the people who sympathize with the Arabs. . . I am not talking only about the U.S., but elsewhere as well. They got an opportunity for coordination. I’m talking about the corporations involved in national security and wars, along with Zionist and Israeli institutions, and people who generally believe. . . I’m talking about Zionist Christians, who believe in the annihilation and demonization of the Muslims. I also mean the racists in general, who are still afraid of what happened in 9/11.
“So all these things — the industry, along with the Zionists and your run-of-the-mill racists who don’t know any better, and who get their information only from the media and the press. . . I’m not talking only about the news, but also about the cartoons on which we were raised, even before 9/11.
“In Bugs Bunny, which we used to watch, they would sometimes bring a character pretending to be an Arab Muslim Sultan. He has a potbelly, and he spends most of his time sitting around and eating, indulging in women day and night, and killing people.
“This is the general notion, but the use they make of it has become more targeted. The film we just watched. . .The Department of Defense finances such films in order to increase suspicion towards our community in America and abroad.”
Interviewer: “The Department of Defense?!”
Lamis Deek: “Yes, it has happened. The DoD has financed films, showing soldiers in Afghanistan killing some Muslims, and the spectators give them a standing ovation. This happens all the time. This is the goal of the film…”
Congressional Democrats are abandoning their party line en masse to support efforts to hold the administration accountable for Operation Fast and Furious.
In another sign of bipartisanship on Fast and Furious accountability, 142 House Democrats backed an amendment from Utah Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz Wednesday, which prevents the Department of Justice from using taxpayer funds to lie to Congress. Though 41 Democrats voted against it, the bipartisan support could be a sign that frustration over the administration stonewalling on Fast and Furious transcends party lines.
Chaffetz pitched House Democrats in a feisty House floor speech before the vote to join him in demanding accountability. He argued that Attorney General Eric Holder’s failure to comply with the Fast and Furious congressional subpoena is anything but a partisan political fight. He said it’s an issue of separation of powers between the legislative and executive branches, and that all Americans “should be embarrassed by what’s happening in Fast and Furious.”
“If we get stonewalling on the other side of the aisle, without your support, we will do a disservice to this country, we will do a disservice to this body and we will not get to the truth,” Chaffetz said on the House floor on Wednesday. “I promise you, when that becomes a Republican president, I will stand with you and demand the openness and transparency that this body deserves. I’ve done it; I’ve challenged my own party, I have the guts, I have the fortitude to do the right thing.”
(CNSNews.com) – Firing a shot over the Obama administration’s bow, a congressional subcommittee has marked up a foreign appropriations bill that lops 12 percent off the administration’s budget request for fiscal year 2013, and applies conditions on funding for the administration’s cherished $770 million “Arab spring” reform initiative.
The bill also provides no funding for the U.N. Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), despite the administration’s desire to seek a waiver that would allow it to resume funding to the Paris-based agency.
In a move that clashed with its much-touted policy of full engagement with, and funding for, the U.N., the administration was compelled by law to de-fund UNESCO last fall after it became the first U.N. body to admit “Palestine.”
The bill – which the House Appropriations State and Foreign Operations subcommittee approved by voice vote Wednesday – not only denies funding for UNESCO, but it also places conditions on funding to other parts of the U.N. apparatus:
–No funding goes to the U.N. Human Rights Council (HRC) unless the secretary of state certifies that U.S. participation in the Geneva-based body is in the national security interest, and that the council is taking steps to scrap its permanent agenda item focusing on Israel.
Men are smart! Don’t have a mixer? Got it taken care of!
Obama gets second term, you better believe there will be a blanket amnesty for all illegals!
In stark contrast to prior Obama administration statements, Illinois Democratic Rep. Luis Gutierrez told The Daily Caller that he and the National Council of La Raza were deeply involved in the crafting and implementation of a controversial Obama administration memo that many conservatives believe amounts to a policy of amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants.
President Obama, Gutierrez said, told him in December 2010 that comprehensive immigration reform could not be achieved legislatively because of fears Democrats would lose future elections. Instead, he said, the president suggested exploring administrative options to accomplish their mutual goals. [...]
Gutierrez, speaking exclusively with The Daily Caller following that event, said Obama’s declaration motivated him to draft a plan of action for the White House.
“I begin to write a ‘prosecutorial discretion’ memorandum,” Gutierrez said. “We take that prosecutorial discretion memorandum and take it to the White House. We meet with Bill Daley. Then we take it to the president.”
Fox News’ Shepard Smith didn’t hide his feelings after ABC aired a snippet of the interview in which President Obama came out in favor of gay marriage.
“The president of the United States, now in the 21st century,” Smith said.
Later on his “Studio B” show, in a segment with “Special Report” host Bret Baier, Smith doubled down by saying Republicans were on “the wrong side of history.”
On the Thursday broadcast of his radio show, however, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh challenged Smith’s statement, and asked where the anchor thought gay marriage had been a winner electorally.
“Republicans on the wrong side of history — our country has finally hit the 21st century, according to Shep Smith,” Limbaugh said. “Republicans without much question on the wrong side of history, without much question at all, wrong side of history. Shep, where has the issue won? Where has it emerged victorious, Shep, outside your house? Where has this issue won an election? Let me know what state, tell me where it has happened, even California.”
Limbaugh referred to Baier’s response to Smith, in which Baier mentioned a Gallup Poll showing a 52/48 divide on the issue. However, Baier does note wherever it has been put to a vote in statewide referendums, gay marriage has lost overwhelmingly.
“Exactly right,” Limbaugh said. “What are you going to look at, Shep? You going to look at the polls or you want to look at the votes? Shep, did you even hear what he said? Nothing has changed. It is still up to ‘the hicks and the hayseeds’ in the states.”

It figures. The far left recallers in Wisconsin owe $17 million in back taxes.
Far left recall supporters in Wisconsin owe at least $17 million in back taxes according to anew report at Put Wisconsin First.
The MacIver Institute reported, via Free Republic:
After refining the dataset created by Verify the Recall, a Wisconsin man began running it against other public records and discovered 571 tax delinquents signed Recall petitions.
His findings? The total in back taxes owed by petitioners is more than $17 million. The list of individuals can be found through the website, www.putwisconsinfirst.com The creator of the site told the MacIver News Service, his databases should be considered to be tools and not definitive source documents. The source documents are from the State of Wisconsin and the Verify the Recall effort and can be found through links on the site, all he’s done is connected the names and addresses together. But those in congress want to support and aid and arm the rebels. Knowing full well these terrorists will start killing christians right and left!
DAMASCUS, Syria (USA Today) — Hani Sarhan is a Christian who says none of his relatives works with the regime of Bashar Assad or has anything to do with it.
“But what we heard from (the protesters) at the beginning of this revolution saying, ‘Christians to Beirut, Alawites to the coffin,’ started us thinking about the real aim of this revolution,” he said. “So from this point of view, fearing for my life, I declared my support for President Assad.”
Muslims dominate this nation of 22 million people, but Christians can be found at all levels of Syria’s government, business community and military. The 2 million Christians here trace their roots to ancient communities and have survived under many rulers as Christian enclaves in other Arab nations, such as Saudi Arabia, have withered. [...]
Many of Syria’s Christians continue to stand by the regime not out of support for Assad but out of fear of civil war if rebels gain strength, or worse, if they win and install an Islamist government hostile to religious minorities.
Qatana, a town 20 miles southwest of Damascus, is home to a Christian community of several hundred families. Protests here against the Assad regime have prompted military incursions and clashes between renegade soldiers and the regular army. At checkpoints surrounding the town, some Christians chat to Alawite security officers. Others offer water and whiskey. Christians firmly believe that the Alawite regime will keep them safe.
Yes, he’s historic, alright.
