Let me state unequivocally: If you are a black person, and you are voting for Obama solely “because he is black,” then you are by default placing your imprimatur on racism. You are, albeit unknowingly, saying the Klan is right to demand a vote for a candidate solely “because he is white.”
Many polls, if they are to be believed (and some are), show that blacks intend to once again vote overwhelmingly for Barack Obama.
If Barack Hussein Obama deserves 95-97 percent of the black vote solely “because he is black,” then Willard Mitt Romney deserves 95-97 percent of the white vote solely “because he is white.”
In other words, according to this standard, a candidate’s qualifications for the office – their record, their views on the economy, international affairs – are all irrelevant; all that matters is race.
If that is the case, where does it stop? If this is acceptable in the political arena, shouldn’t it be acceptable in everyday life? Could it be that this “old-fashioned preacher” (What was his name? Martin Luther King or something like that?) was out of step when he said, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character”?
Why shouldn’t we hire, fire, train or set pay scales based on race? Why not our social mores and civil laws? Shouldn’t academic opportunities be according to, and based on, this same standard? And if classrooms, why not restaurants and restrooms and even water fountains? Finally, shouldn’t cemeteries be selected solely on the basis of race as well? After all, if we are deciding matters, politically or otherwise, solely on the basis of race, just being dead isn’t enough to qualify, is it?

HOUSTON - A man who lost a son to the war in Afghanistan is disappointed in the condolence letter he received from President Barack Obama.
Tom Logan, a Willis resident, calls the note late, impersonal, disrespectful and essentially a form letter.
“It opened up a wound in our heart you can’t fix. You can’t send another letter. You can’t make it right,” Logan said.
Logan’s son, USMC Cpl. Joseph D. Logan, was killed Jan. 19, 2012, along with five other men when the helicopter they were in crashed.
Joey Logan was 22.
“He would have been more mad about this than I am,” Tom Logan said.
Tom Logan said he believes Obama did little more than sign his name to the document. He believes his son deserved more.
Local 2 Investigates examined two other letters sent by Obama to families of soldiers killed in action. The one-page typed condolence letters were identical other than names, ranks and service branches. [...]
“Where are the representatives of our government? Where is the honor and the respect that all of these soldiers deserve?” Logan asked.

Yes, the U.S. is fighting on the same side as these terrorists. Funding them even. Not to be outdone, Mitt Romney says he will arm them. Jimmy Carter did that in Afghanistan. via Before It’s News

Here in Chicago, I regularly meet with a group of friends who call themselves “The Think Squad”; these are men and women who are prominent members of the black community in Hyde Park and the City’s south side. None of them supported Barack Obama’s presidential bid in 2008 but most begrudgingly voted for him because they freely admit race-pride was their motivating factor. These people knew Obama when he was a state senator and saw him do absolutely nothing for blacks in Chicago back then…and they similarly saw Obama do nothing for blacks (or any of his constituents in general) as a United States Senator. The Think Squad has always seen through Obama and continues to speak out about his failings. Expect them, and other blacks coast to coast, to become even more vocal about the “magical first black president” after he loses in November and the anger of “how much that punk wasted” really comes to a boil and people no longer feel intimidated or threatened when the Obamas have left the White House for Hawaii next January. That’s when people will REALLY let it all fly, once the Obamas are no longer even a vestigial presence in Chicago and people have no fear at all in talking about what a sham their marriage is and how the two of them benefitted from affirmative action and white guilt their entire lives.
The problem, for blacks in Chicago, is that the Obamas have actually ruined that white guilt for “the rest of us”, as the Think Squad put it last night at an impromptu after-church-programs dinner I enjoyed with some of the more outspoken “Thinkers” in a little Mexican restaurant near the south side. I try to go to as many of these events as I’m invited to because I always learn something new about how much many blacks actually detest Barack Obama, despite the fact that 95% of black voters are still going to cast their ballots for him in November. ”Look, you just have to understand that if there’s a chance to vote for someone who looks like us on a ticket, especially for president, we ain’t gonna vote for no Romney. You put Allen West on a ticket some time and you’ll have blacks forgetting they were ever Democrat. Put that Mia Love on a ticket and watch blacks go nuts for her as VP or something in the future. Democrat Party “Who?” they will say because if you look at the skin and it looks like yours that’s just how you vote. This is the truth. Am I lying?,” one older Thinker asked the table.
“No, you ain’t lying. That’s just how it is. That’s why people need to THINK. Think about what the Democrats really do for black people. They don’t do S*** and we all know it”, another Thinker said before chomping a big chip with salsa and eliciting knowing nods and smiles from the rest of the table.

On 30 October 2008, I wrote about a bizarre idiosyncrasy I discovered in the Obama fundraising website, which was designed by a company named Blue State Digital.
Will the innovations never cease? Yesterday I described several, eh, unique capabilities pioneered by the Obama campaign in the area of campaign contributions.
Among them, failure to do even basic credit-card validation; accepting untraceable prepaid credit cards… [etc.]
Anyhow, an anonymous tipster mentioned that checking out the source code of the Obama donation website… would reveal some interesting logic. Specifically that IP addresses of the donors can be easily spoofed through a hidden field in the form. The tipster’s guess was (and I concur) that the Obama campaign is recording the spoofable IP address… not the real IP address as delivered by the web server.
It’s web security 101, folks. Because IP addresses map back to the original source network (your ISP, your company, etc.), the web server’s log-file records the actual source IP address of the request. They certainly don’t record anything that the requester provides as the genuine address.
Put simply, there’s no reason to include a hidden form field for IP address. It is there for one reason alone: IP forgery — forging the computer addresses of donations to disguise their true sources.

At the height of early-1990s conservative backlash over political correctness and “speech codes” on U.S. college campuses, Barack Obama participated in a panel event geared toward denying that restrictions on free expression were problematic, or happening at all.
The 1991 Harvard Law School yearbook quoted the future President of the United States virtually shrugging his shoulders at the thought that non-liberal white students might take offense at restrictions on speech that minority students found objectionable. “I don’t see a lot of conservatives getting upset if minorities feel silenced,” Obama said, flipping the argument around.
In addition to Obama, who was by then the former Harvard Law Review editor, the panel included several prominent Harvard law professors; the American Civil Liberties Union’s legal director; Justice Stephen Breyer, who then presided over the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit; and Brian Timmons, an Obama classmate who had been the managing editor of the Harvard Journal on Law and Public Policy, which describes itself as “the nation’s leading forum for conservative and libertarian legal scholarship.”

(CNSNews.com) – In marking the one year anniversary of Let’s Move! in Indian Country, First Lady Michelle Obama praised the work done by Native American and Alaskan American communities in fighting childhood obestiy by, among other things, adding “traditional foods like buffalo meat into school lunches.”
A year ago, Mrs. Obama joined Native American children in the White House garden to launch Let’s Move in Indian Country by planting the “three sisters”–corn, beans and squash.
“This is such an important issue,” Mrs. Obama said in the video marking the one-year anniversary of the program. “We know that children in American Indian and Alaskan Native communities experience higher rates of obesity.
