This is police state tactics, pure and simple! Ah, with liberals and socialists and commies running our country it is no doubt that one day, the USA will stand for United Socialist of America. Stalinist Russia would be a bit better than what we will end us as.
Dancing is a crime! That’s according to some New York City police officers who arrested a couple in their fifties because they were dancing while waiting for the subway. Reportedly, they had just gone to hear jazz at Lincoln Center. Afterward, in the subway station a musician was playing the steel band so the couple began doing the Charleston. They say police officers approached them and said they weren’t allowed to dance on the platform. Officers asked for ID, but when the woman could only produce a credit card that had her picture and signature on it, the cops ordered the pair to go with them.
Things took a turn for the worse when the man took out his cell phone and began recording the whole incident. The couple said they were detained by police for “impeding the flow of traffic” and held for 23 hours. All the charges have been dropped but the couple plans to file a suit.
Bloomberg is keeping us safe from the dancers
Leave it to the cops to completely ruin a real life situation that could have come right out of a Nicholas Sparks novel.
thank God we have the police there to protect us from public expressions of romance…
statistically speaking, while these cops were harassing this poor couple, somebody was being mugged at knifepoint…

If it were not for the idiots of the world, and the liberals who look out for them, signs like this would not exist.

In my own life, in my own small way, I have tried to give back to this country that has given me so much,” she said. “See, that’s why I left a job at a big law firm for a career in public service, “ Michelle Obama
No, Michele Obama does not get paid to serve as the First Lady and she doesn’t perform any official duties. But this hasn’t deterred her from hiring an unprecedented number of staffers to cater to her every whim and to satisfy her every request in the midst of the Great Recession. Just think Mary Lincoln was taken to task for purchasing china for the White House during the Civil War. And Mamie Eisenhower had to shell out the salary for her personal secretary.
How things have changed! If you’re one of the tens of millions of Americans facing certain destitution, earning less than subsistence wages stocking the shelves at Wal-Mart or serving up McDonald cheeseburgers, prepare to scream and then come to realize that the benefit package for these servants of Miz Michele are the same as members of the national security and defense departments and the bill for these assorted lackeys is paid by John Q. Public:

A Muslim group has released its plan to “wipe Christianity from the face of the earth,” Islamize the West and establish an Islamic system of world government — placing those who resist “under a police state.”
The 23-page booklet, “The Global Islamic Civilization: The Power of a Nation Revived,” is the brainchild of the United Muslim Nations International, a group led by Sheik Farook al-Mohammedi. The document outlines a plan for Muslim world domination and the re-establishment of the Caliphate.
Al-Mohammedi leaves no doubt about his view of Christianity.
“Christianity should be destroyed and wiped from the face of the earth,” al-Mohammedi said. “It is an evil demonic and Anti-Christ system, all Christians are in complete Ignorance.”
The sheik includes a veiled threat in his remarks.
“Islamic Power has returned upon the face of the earth and the Revived Global Caliphate has set eyes on the West to once and for all rid the world of Christianity and there is nothing you can do about it,” al-Mohammedi said.
He makes his objective clear.
“I have pledged and made a firm promise to the Caliphate of the United Muslim Nations International organization that I will do my utmost to Islamize all of the West within a short period of time,” al-Mohammedi said.
Al-Mohammedi’s views are reflected in the book, which calls on all Muslims to, “listen attentively (to the teaching in the booklet) so they may be able to feel the spirituality of an Islamic revival within themselves and they will be able to achieve the much needed upliftment (sic) and also a means in gaining the closeness of Allah Subahanhu wa-ta’ ala.”
The document is a clear statement on the organization’s objective. Page 2 explains that the emergence of an Islamic Caliphate is the ultimate goal of all Muslims.
“Firstly we will deal with the matter of the Global Islamic Civilization, its honored status, the unrivaled Universal Brotherhood and Sisterhood of the Muslim Ummah,” the document states.
“Islam the only true religion enjoins upon mankind Total Submission to the will of Allah, which means that you are to live a life that is Totally Devoted to the Almighty Allah by serving Him in the manner which He has prescribed for us through the example of the Holy Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam,” the booklet said.
Al-Mohammedi declares that Western resistance to the worldwide Islamic movement is futile.
“Today as I breathe the air of our newly found Islamic State of America before my trip this week to Eurabia I leave behind me an Internationalist Islamic Ideology which will be the future of America and Europe Inshallah,” he said.

The more I read and hear about Chief Justice Roberts going all the way to the dark side (liberals) on the obamacare ruling, the more I think he should never ever be a friend of any patriot in our land.
This is via the WT:
NUGENT: Turncoat Roberts
Chief justice’s surprise ruling means limited government is dead
Yogi Berra said that when you come to a fork in the road, take it. When supposed-conservative Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. came to a judicial conservative-liberal fork in the road, he veered left.
With Chief Justice Roberts‘ vote to save Obamacare, I was reminded of what my dad told me more than 50 years ago: Never trust a man who wears a black robe. He might be naked under there.
Unlike other conservatives, I don’t care if his vote to save Obamacare turns into a cash cow for the Mitt Romney’s presidential political machine and galvanizes the GOP. There are some things more important than politics and elections. Striking down un-American, Constitution-violating Obamacare is one of them.
Had Chief Justice Roberts voted along with Justice Clarence Thomas and Justice Antonin Scalia like everyone expected, Obamacare would have been struck down by the Supreme Court. That would have put even more wind in the sails of the Romney campaign.
The bottom line is that Chief Justice Roberts‘ traitor vote will ensure more monumental spending and wasted taxes and put almost 15 percent of the nation’s gross domestic product (GDP) under one of the world’s most bureaucratic, ineffective, incompetent and grossly expensive systems ever devised by man: our out-of- control federal government.
Chief Justice Roberts squandered the opportunity to restore judicial, financial and legislative sanity to a government that by any sane person’s standards is insane and addicted to centralized federal control of our lives.
Because our legislative, judicial and executive branches of government hold the 10th Amendment in contempt, I’m beginning to wonder if it would have been best had the South won the Civil War. Our Founding Fathers’ concept of limited government is dead.
Because of the chief justice’s vote, Fedzilla just burped and is now prepared to gobble up even more of our tax dollars, more of our GDP and limit even more opportunity in the private sector.
Chief Justice Roberts‘ opinion was that Obamacare was a tax, not a mandate under the Commerce Clause to purchase a product, and that Congress can levy any tax it wants.
As I recall, the president and the government’s very own attorney who argued the case before the Supreme Court said that Obamacare was not a tax. Fascinating, Mr. Chief Justice, that you legislated from the bench that Obamacare is a tax.
Following the chief justice’s logic, our professional political punks in Washington can mandate any tax-penalty they choose. For example, if you don’t buy an Obama-approved green energy automobile, our Fedzillacrats could tax us for refusing to do so. That’s the essence of this ruling.
Obamacare will now join Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid as another unaffordable, unsustainable, runaway, unaccountable social program.
Our entitlement programs have bankrupted America. We have dug a financial crater so deep that many doubt we can ever climb out. With his vote, Chief Justice Roberts didn’t give Fedzilla an even bigger shovel, he gave Fedzilla an earth mover with which to dig bigger financial holes.
Quite possibly, with his vote, Chief Justice Roberts just engineered the ultimate demise of this great experiment in self- government. If you think we are skating on financial thin ice now, just wait until 2014 when the full financial tsunami of Obamacare comes crashing down.
The president should have Chief Justice Roberts over for dinner, give him a ride on Air Force One and apologize for not voting for him during his confirmation hearings. It’s the least the community-organizer- in-chief can do for the turncoat chief justice who saved the president’s socialist health care program.
Limited government is dead. The smothering era of socialism is here.

Early in the morning on June 27, Fortune Magazine published online a lengthy article called “The Truth about the Fast and Furious Scandal.”
Fortune‘s timing was not fortuitous. That evening, the House voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress for failing to produce documents requested by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. About a hundred Democrats walked out before the vote, and the talking points at their press conference came from the article. Leftist websites jumped on the story. It rapidly became the new liberal narrative on the scandal. Some moderate Republicans have been impressed.
Conservative columnists and bloggers have naturally dismissed it as a pack of lies.
The article is worth a closer look. It contains some new evidence that open-minded readers will find plausible. At the same time, its omissions and distortions reveal the real agenda of the magazine as clearly as the timing of the article’s publication.
The piece, Fortune claims, is the result of a six-month investigation in which 39 individuals were interviewed and over 2,000 documents examined. It purports to be the backstory, missing from accounts in the media so far.
The writer, Katherine Eban, offers essentially two arguments:
1) that David Voth, the director of the office that ran Fast and Furious, Group VII of the AFT’s Phoenix field division, made serious efforts to bring charges against straw buyers but was thwarted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, which repeatedly refused to issue warrants.
2) that the scandal was concocted by disgruntled agents who actually had other grievances against Voth. The charges were publicized by “right-wing bloggers” and then eagerly embraced by Republicans for partisan reasons.
To begin with the second story, the piece cleverly reverses the traditional stereotype of the nerdy, by-the-book whistle-blower chafing under a rogue supervisor.
Voth, obviously Eban’s primary source, is depicted as a hardworking, straight-shooting ex-Marine, “strapping and sandy-haired.” His leading critic, John Dodson, who broke the story on CBS, is represented as obnoxious and sarcastic, “‘an asshole sometimes,’” according to a former partner. After Voth arrived in Arizona in December 2009, his seven-member team soon split into two factions: the “Renegades,” headed by Dodson, and the “Sunshine Bears,” under Voth. Team Voth got its moniker from his ironic nickname for the dour lead investigator Hope MacAllister.
Tensions came to a head in March 2010 over an authorization to wiretap a suspect. The Renegades either didn’t want weekend slots or didn’t want to be assigned to the wire at all. They bombarded Voth with e-mails. In response, Voth issued what would subsequently become infamous as the “schism” e-mail. One line became particularly notorious: “If you don’t think this is fun, you’re in the wrong line of work.” Reading the entire e-mail, it’s clear that it was the wiretap project that Voth was referring to, not a plan to walk guns.
Most of Eban’s attempts to discredit the dissidents are at best a stretch: Dodson wore flip-flops to work, Lee Casa wouldn’t turn off the “Godzilla” sound effect on his computer, which roared when he received an e-mail, Larry Alt produced a satiric memo about the control-freak MacAllister.
But a couple of charges against Dodson are less frivolous. As evidence that his disagreement with Voth was not about gun-walking, Eban claims that in June 2010, Dodson went undercover in a project he himself initiated and Voth opposed, purchasing 6 AK Draco pistols with ATF funds and then selling them to a suspected gun-trafficker. But he then went on vacation without interdicting the weapons. They were never recovered and the trafficker never charged.
Another point Eban makes is that there is no documentary evidence regarding the dissatisfaction of the Renegades with the operation until after the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry on December 14, 2010. Dodson and the others sent plenty of e-mails to Voth. If they had questioned the premise of Fast and Furious, they would undoubtedly have produced these, rather than the “schism” e-mail.
The reason Voth sought a wiretap was his frustration at the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Here Eban’s chronology is confusing. We are told that lists of individuals for whom indictments were sought were sent to the USAO “by January 2010,” “by June 2010,” and “by the end of July 2010, when the Fast and Furious investigation was largely complete.” In the first and third cases, Eban says that 20 names were submitted, and in the second 31, though with only 46 pages of documentation. In any event, the USAO was reluctant to issue warrants until after the murder of Terry, when arrests were finally made.
Some of the rejections seem pretty egregious. Voth claims he was denied indictments for one buyer on food stamps who had bought $300,000 worth of firearms over six months and another, unemployed, who had paid $10,000 for a 50-caliber sniper rifle. He began taking cases to the state’s AG office instead of federal prosecutors. For the USAO, he believed, it simply was not rewarding bringing charges against straw buyers, who had no criminal records and faced minimal penalties.
A reader vaguely familiar with F&F might go along with Eban’s narrative up to this point, but then he or she would run across this sentence: “New facts are still coming to light — and will likely continue to do so with the Justice Department inspector general’s report expected in coming months.” Really? One would expect that a writer genuinely interested in “new facts” would be dying to see some of the 75,000-80,000 documents that Eric Holder has withheld from Congress. (At issue in the contempt vote were only 1,300 of these.) There was a reason why the AG became the first sitting Cabinet officer to be cited for contempt of Congress, and there was a reason why seventeen Democrats joined the GOP in the lopsided vote. Instead, Eban hopes that the Justice Department, which has refused to bring charges against its chief, will provide a report that will be something other than a whitewash.

You know that this is the thinking of the vast majority of those in academia! That would be a good thing, for someone to clean out the teachers, the professors, the heads of college departments and more. Send them all to the promised land of North Korea. They would fit in great there….
Alabama’s anti-illegal immigration law is like “the anti-Jewish actions taken by Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany” with the “Nuremberg laws coming to mind,” a professor of history at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) wrote on his personal blog.
“The only people who can celebrate this law are the KKK and other white supremacy groups,” wrote Ronald Feinman, who is an adjunct professor of history at FAU.
Feinman added that the “hateful, nativist, despicable legislation” puts Alabama “to shame.”
The blog post was published on Feinman’s personal blog entitled “The Progressive Professor,” where he describes himself as “a liberal and a progressive.”
In other posts, Feinman accuses the FOX News Channel (FNC) of “distorting news on a regular basis” and spewing “poison and hate.”
He described former FNC host and pundit Glenn Beck as the “new menace to American freedom and stability” out simply to “enrich himself at the expense of… gullible Americans.”
A number of students have posted complaints about Feinman’s intolerance for opposing viewpoints in class, via the popular college website RateMyProfessor.com.
One post on the website says he is “very liberal and other views are not well respected in the class.”
The student added Feinman “spends a good deal of class time bashing Bush and praising Obama.”
Another student wrote that Feinman is a “very opinionated liberal professor who likes to frequently twist and edit history and current events throughout his lectures.”
