Damn These Flies!
We are going to go and have our weekly champagne brunch. I do look forward to these lunches with my wife. Like yesterday evening, we went to Indianola and had a great dinner. Just the two of us! If you are married, or have a significant other, you should do the same. It will be a godsend to both of you.
To start off today, here is a short little joke:
An Englishman, a Scott, and a Irishman walked into a pub.
Each orderd a pint of beer.
Then a fly landed in each one’s beer.
The Englishman, turning slightly green, pushed his beer away and asked for another one.
The Scott took the fly out, shrugged, and drank his beer.
The Irisman pinched the fly between his fingers and yelled
“SPIT IT OUT!” “SPIT IT OUT!”

And he got applause from the dim-witted bath-salt-snorting entitlement socialists attending the annual meeting of parasitic maggots.
Do you think they’re joking?
The EPA has probably saved more American lives than the Department of Defense in the last 30 years.

Yet another bit of hypocrisy of those on the left. They yell we want this and we want that tax record from conservatives, yet refuse to do the same!
Once again, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is being called out by Karen Harrington, her Republican congressional opponent, to release her travel records from the time she was first appointed to be the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman.
Earlier this year, Karen Harrington requested that Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz release her tax returns after Wasserman Schultz had demanded that GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney release his past tax returns (see the Weekly Standard story).
In Harrington’s press release from this morning, Harrington stated that Wasserman Schultz has “refused to release the tax returns” and has “resorted to doing what she does best when asked to account for herself-ignore her critics and distract with spin.”
Harrington questioned who was really footing the bill for (Wasserman Schultz’s numerous campaign trips around the country, asking her for “full transparency and accountability”. Remember that in 2008, President Obama campaigned on a platform of “full transparency” in government, and because of his past ‘transparent’ efforts, he received an award it. But interestingly enough, the press was not allowed to cover the awards ceremony- so much for transparency.

But yet our RINOs (you know, McCain and a couple of others), our president, our head of state department, will not mention this or they will spin it around. Anything to protect their views on Syria and to still beg to help the so-called rebels…
(Vatican Insider) — An exodus of Christians is taking place in Western Syria: the Christian population has fled the city of Qusayr, near Homs, following an ultimatum issued by the military chief of the armed opposition, Abdel Salam Harba.
This is what local sources told Vatican news agency Fides, pointing out that since the conflict broke out, only a thousand of the city’s ten thousand faithful, were left and they are now being forced to flee immediately. Some of the city’s mosques have issued the message again, announcing from the minarets: “Christians must leave Qusayr within six days, ending Friday.” The ultimatum therefore expired on 8 June and spread fear among the Christian population which had started to regain hope as a result of the presence of the Jesuit Fr. Paolo Dall’Oglio, who stopped off in Qusayr for a week to “pray and fast in the name of peace, right in the midst of conflict.”
The reasons for this ultimatum remain a mystery. Some say it is necessary in order to protect faithful from further suffering; other sources reveal “a continuity in discrimination and selective repression.” Others still claim that Christians have openly expressed their loyalty to the state and this is why the opposition army is chasing them away. Now Christian families in Qusayr have begun their exodus as displaced persons, towards the surrounding valleys and rural areas. Some have taken refuge in parents’ and friends’ homes in Damascus. Very few families have courageously decided to stay behind in their birth city but who knows what fate will meet. Fides sources have reiterated that groups of Salafi Islamic extremists within the armed opposition consider Christians as “infidels”; they confiscate their belongings, carry out mass executions and are ready to declare a “denominational war”.

Again, a spot that no one wants to talk about or to help people or the country. Nigeria, where the slaughter of Christians continue with not a peep from the Useless Nations or our president!
Jos, Nigeria (CNN) — At least five people were killed in an explosion that leveled a church in Jos, Nigeria, during services Sunday.
Witnesses said a suicide bomber drove a car into the church, where parishioners were gathered.
An angry crowd was outside the Christ Chosen Church of God, now reduced to rubble.
There appeared to be a large number of casualties, including children.
A March car bomb attack outside a Catholic church in Jos killed six people, according to officials.

I’ve turned the lights back on here at MichelleMalkin.com after “going dark” to help raise awareness about attacks on blogger free speech. Every phone call, e-mail, tweet, and letter you wrote yesterday to elected officials, state and federal government attorneys, and media outlets about SWAT-tings/convicted bomber and lying vexatious litigant Brett Kimberlin/his funders/his online cabal has made a difference. I am told there are now up to 83 congressional representatives who have signed their names to a letter — demanding “thorough examination at every level” of these terroristic crimes and threats — that will be sent to Attorney General Eric Holder on Monday. And I can tell you there’s much more in the works. At every level.
While we continue to speak out and work in front of and behind the scenes to support the bloggers targeted by Kimberlin, I want to call your attention to how speech-squelching progressives have targeted another conservative activist/blogger who needs your attention and help.

In 2009, she was named RightOnline’s activist of the year for being a “force multiplier” through her training sessions to get citizens online. She founded her own personal bankruptcy law firm, served in the Arizona Attorney General’s office, and worked in the Maricopa County (Ariz.) Attorney’s Office as a Deputy County Attorney.
In April, the Arizona State Bar suspended Alexander’s law license for six months and one day. The order became effective May 10. Less than a week later, she was granted a stay on the suspension as she pursues an appeal. But she’s been hit by another bar complaint as progressive opponents work to destroy her reputation and career.
Why did this happen to the dedicated, outspoken, and unapologetically conservative young lawyer? Her nightmare has all the makings of a partisan political vendetta and witch hunt.
Rachel’s boss at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office was Andrew Thomas, a staunch law-and-order advocate who tried to clean up corruption in his ranks. Thomas also represented tough-on-illegal immigration Sheriff Joe Arpaio. In gunning for Thomas, the liberal State Bar is trying to claim underling Alexander as collateral damage. Her actual role in Thomas’s attempt to prosecute corruption was minor. Her direct supervisor Peter Spaw, who played a much larger role, has not been targeted by the Bar.

The leader of our country is “dazed and confused”.
At his press conference Friday, Obama delivered what the Liberal media described as a “stuttering”, “uncertain”, word-searching mess from a president “dazed and confused”. That’s because our dazed and confused president is a mess. And he created an even bigger mess for himself with his embarrassing press conference. Even Liberal Washington Post couldn’t re-craft his senseless, “meandering and stuttering performance”…and they didn’t even try, entitling their summary, “‘Uhhh,’ the president’s ‘uhhh’ press conference was ‘uhhh’ terrible”.
