Read a book a couple of weeks back that had all to do with frozen methane down in the ocean floors. OH, you must get the book “Frozen Waters” by Bill Evans and Marianna Jameson. Go to amazon, your local library or see if in the kindle store. Or for $100.00 one lucky person can get this book signed and dated by IowaDawg! LOL

In this visualization, the Gulf Stream is seen as the dark red current coming into the Atlantic from the Gulf of Mexico.
A changing Gulf Stream off the East Coast has destabilized frozen methane deposits trapped under nearly 4,000 square miles of seafloor, scientists reported Wednesday. And since methane is even more potent than carbon dioxide as a global warming gas, the researchers said, any large-scale release could have significant climate impacts.
Temperature changes in the Gulf Stream are “rapidly destabilizing methane hydrate along a broad swathe of the North American margin,” the experts said in a study published Wednesday in the peer-reviewed journal Nature.
Using seismic records and ocean models, the team estimated that 2.5 gigatonnes of frozen methane hydrate are being destabilized and could separate into methane gas and water.
It is not clear if that is happening yet, but that methane gas would have the potential to rise up through the ocean and into the atmosphere, where it would add to the greenhouse gases warming Earth.
The 2.5 gigatonnes isn’t enough to trigger a sudden climate shift, but the team worries that other areas around the globe might be seeing a similar destabilization.

WASHINGTON (CBS DC) – The vast majority of homemade pornography and private images on personal computers ends up on public websites called “parasites.”
Eighty-eight percent of homemade pornography, including videos and still images, finds its way onto porn sites, often without the owners’ knowledge, a new study from Britain’s Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) has found.
The study analyzed more than 12,000 sexually explicit images uploaded by young people and found that the great majority of images had been stolen and published to what the organization calls, “parasite” websites.
These “parasites,” which are exclusively designed for hosting sexual images featuring young subjects, allegedly obtain their material from anywhere they can get it: lost or stolen cellphones, hacked private accounts on Photobucket, Flickr, or Facebook, or from chat sites and Tumblr, a blogging platform notorious for the amount of explicit self-published content by high school and college-age students.
“We need young people to realize that once an image or a video has gone online, they may never be able to remove it entirely,” Susie Hargreaves, CEO of the Internet Watch Foundation, told the Guardian newspaper in London. “Once an image has been copied on to a parasite website, it will no longer suffice to simply remove the image from the online account.”

This is NOT going to end up with a true rendition of what actually happened and who is to blame. And to send and islamist sympathizer shows you how much obama loves America.
Is the man the Obama administration appointed on October 4 as key investigator for the terror attacks in Benghazi an Islamist-sympathizer? According to recently published reports, the new chairman of a State Department’s “Accountability Review Board,” which is heading the federal investigation into the Benghazi terror attacks, has been accused of being an “apologist for Islamic terrorism who has a cozy relationship with Iran.”
What’s more, the man in question — former Ambassador Thomas R. Pickering — has documented ties with the controversial group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR, of course, is a documented Muslim Brotherhood affiliate and was named unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation trial — the largest terror-funding trial in U.S. history.
To make matters worse, Pickering is also co-chairman of the board of George Soros’ International Crisis Group who has ties to other Islamic organizations as well, including the National Iranian American Council (NIAC), which has been described as pro-Iran “front group.”
NIAC lost what Matthew Vadum at FrontPageMag describes as ”an important defamation case in federal court last month in which it unsuccessfully argued the group was not a tool of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Everyone loves an underdog, but sometimes it pays to play the favorites. A gambler who places wagers through BetOnline.ag was apparently feeling lucky last week, but in a way he could make the argument that he was simply playing the odds. According to Beyond the Bets, this risk-taker decided to place $100 on a 23-team football parlay with a potential payout of $25,772. He won.
Anyone who gambles on sports can tell you how difficult it is to win a parlay. Whether it be two teams or 10 teams, there’s a reason the payouts are so large. However, this gambler apparently decided that there’s also a reason certain teams are favored in Las Vegas. He included 21 college football favorites, one NFL favorite and one college football underdog in his wager.

Wow….our premier intelligence service invites a fecking islamist asshole to teach?
In July of this year, the CIA hosted a 2-day training program at its headquarters in Langley, Virginia entitled “Countering Violent Extremism Workshop for the National Capitol Region.”
Present at this conference were local, state, and federal officials from nearly every law enforcement, military, and intelligence organization around the Washington Metropolitan area. In addition to the senior CIA, FBI, and DHS officials conducting the training, members of the Muslim community moderated and led the training throughout the 2-day program. Notable among these was Imam Mohammed Magid who participated in speaking about “Building Communities of Trust: A Local Example of a Partnership between the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) and Law Enforcement.”
How was Imam Magid vetted to speak at CIA Headquarters? And who vetted him?
The ADAMS Center is a Muslim Brotherhood front organization. It was founded by some of the most senior Muslim Brothers in the United States, to include Ahmed Totanji, who still resides in Herndon, Virginia. Its website proclaims “[ADAMS] is a membership organization registered in the State of Virginia as a non-profit, tax exempt corporation and is affiliated with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA).”

Barack Obama has released a ridiculous little 20-page pamphlet — 20 pages with lots of pictures — detailing his agenda for a second term. He calls it the “New Economic Patriotism,” and if that name seems to you redolent of early-20th-century totalitarians, that may be because it is not the first N.E.P.: Lenin’s was the Novaya Ekonomicheskaya Politika. Mitt Romney published an economic-policy book, too. No pictures.
Apparently, Obama’s second term is to be a more or less precise repeat of his first term. In fact, the sixth item on his seven-point list merely touts Obamacare, which, if memory serves, already has been passed. He also wants to add six-figure numbers to the headcounts of the public-sector unions that finance and staff his campaign. And build batteries. There’s no picture of the batteries, but there are 17 photographs of the president, most of them centerfolds. In fact, photographs of the president gazing down benevolently upon children, doctors, oldsters, and one guy with a baseball cap on sideways account for about 80 percent of the space in the booklet. That is appropriate, inasmuch as the Obama campaign, like the Obama presidency, is not about jobs or economic growth: It is about Barack Obama.
Such scant substance as there is exhibits the president’s characteristic dishonesty. He repeats the canard about tax deductions for outsourcing, when in fact no special tax deduction exists. (Business expenses are deductible when calculating income for tax purposes — that’s it. No special benefit for outsourcing expenses exists.) He boasts that his policies have led to a dramatic reduction in oil imports, and he is in a sense correct: Demand for oil is down because the economy is stagnant. Demand for lots of things is down for the same reason, and Obama’s policies are an important part of the reason for that. He suggests that we will reduce our demand for foreign oil even further by investing in wind, solar, and clean coal. He is not very clear on how that will work, since those technologies are used to produce electricity, which is not what we use oil for. Perhaps he thinks the country runs on diesel generators. Cars that run on cool breezes and sunshine are not yet commercially available.
In truth, Obama’s policies are a dagger pointed at the heart of the American energy industry. Oil production on federal lands is declining, and his EPA is poised to pounce upon the natural-gas industry, threatening to squelch innovative techniques for recovering natural gas from shale deposits. In the unhappy event the president should win reelection, he will not be constrained by the thought of having to face the voters again, and his EPA will be off the leash.
The president also repeats his misleading statement about job growth in “the auto industry rescued by President Obama.” (Sure, you taxpayers may have played a role, too, but don’t expect a mention.) In truth, most of the growth in automotive employment has not been at the bailed-out firms, which still are significantly underperforming such competitors as Toyota and Volkswagen.
He boasts of the three free-trade pacts he has signed, every one of which was handed down to him by the Bush administration. In fact, he slow-walked the Colombia trade pact under pressure from his labor-union allies.
He proposes to cut corporate tax rates. It is our understanding that there is another candidate in the race with a similar idea.
He proposes to create 20 federal institutes for innovation in manufacturing, because innovation is the first thing most people think of when they think of the federal government.
He also promises to cut spending and to reduce the deficit, issues upon which he simply has no credibility. If he were going to adopt a deficit-reduction plan, he would have proposed one by now instead of torpedoing every idea sent his way for the last four years, including the recommendations of his own deficit-reduction commission.
If patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel, what is economic patriotism? The last refuge of a man with President Obama’s record.

The son of state Sen. Neal Kedzie (R-Elkhorn) was beaten at his home in Whitewater after confronting a man taking down a Romney/Ryan campaign sign, the senator said Monday.Sean Kedzie was attacked by the man and another man, who wrestled him to the ground, beat and choked him, the elder Kedzie said.
Sean Kedzie was treated at a hospital and released, his father said.
Whitewater police Monday confirmed they were investigating the incident.
| Now THIS is newsworthy, deserving of all the hyperbole the liberal morons can muster. |
The Journal Sentinel via Muskego Now continued to play up the extremism of this occurrence: “He places the blame on extremism whipped up by talk shows that spread negativity onto the stage of ideas. He also cited politicians who refuse to cooperate with each other so that they can play the blame game. Pushing people to extremes eventually poisons the body politic, Schuele said.”

In a shocking display of lawlessness and contempt for our electoral system, a Democrat Party boss was caught on videotape planning vote fraud. Art Moore of WND.com reports on the story:
The son of Rep. Jim Moran, D-Va. — who serves as the field director for his father’s campaign – has been caught on video advising an undercover reporter how to fraudulently cast ballots in the name[s] of registered voters by forging utility bills and relying on the assistance of Democrat lawyers.
The investigation was conducted by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas, of ACORN exposé fame.
The undercover reporter approached Moran’s son, Patrick Moran, and claimed that he and a friend wanted to cast votes for Virginia residents. According to WND, their conversation went as follows:
Reporter: There are 100 people who don’t vote. He’s looking for two guys to help him…
Patrick Moran: Crank it out?
Reporter: Yes. He’s got a van and he and me were going to go around. …
Patrick Moran: Rally these people up and get them to the polls.
Reporter: Well, he was actually going to get in a van and vote for them.
Patrick Moran: Ohhhh
Reporter: I know, but –
Reporter: It’s scary, but I’m not. … I don’t want to lose, and I’m frightened.
Patrick Moran: Yeah.
Moran also unwittingly explained why Democrats steadfastly oppose voter-ID laws: he told the reporter that such laws would make vote fraud more difficult. Nonetheless, as indicated earlier, he had advice on how to circumvent the system at the ready.
Now, note that Moran talks about this plotted vote fraud as if it’s nothing unusual. This raises the question: how many similar incidents occur that we never even hear about?
Another case we did hear about came out of Bridgeport, Connecticut, where just a week and a half ago Mayor Bill Finch was caught on video joking (boasting?) about being able to steal an election.
While meeting with Democrat CT congressman Chris Murphy, who is running neck-and-neck for the US Senate against Republican Linda McMahon, Finch said that “even if it takes a couples of days to get the results, ‘You can be guaranteed you’re going to get the vote,’” writes The Weekly Standard. By the way, Finch and Murphy were comrades in their state senate for four years, and Finch has a history of stealing elections via Bridgeport ballots.
Then there’s another kind of machine politics. There was a report yesterday that voters in Guilford County, North Carolina found that their Mitt Romney ballots automatically defaulted to Barack Obama at the Bur-Mil Park polling location. Writes MyFox8.com:
Sher Coromalis…says she cast her ballot for Governor Mitt Romney, but every time she entered her vote the machine defaulted to President Obama.
…Guilford County Board of Elections Director George Gilbert says the problem arises every election. It can be resolved after the machine is re-calibrated by poll workers.
“It’s not a conspiracy [sic] it’s just a machine that needs to be corrected,” Gilbert said.
…Marie Haydock, who also voted at the Bur-Mil Park polling location, had the same problem.
Is it my imagination, or is this problem that arises every election one where machines just always happen to malfunction in favor of Democrats?
I’ve said for a long time that this election is going to be the dirtiest in US history, mainly because the left moves ever further down the rabbit hole of relativism, which begets an end-justifies-the-means mentality. Moreover, I truly believe that these liberal political operatives can steal enough votes in swing states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Mexico to turn them in Obama’s favor and thus steal the election. Remember, you don’t need an October Surprise when you have a November 6 Surprise.
And, just imagine, the United Nations-affiliated election monitors dispatched to our shores will be looking for vote fraud on the part of conservative groups.
Conservatives had better wise up, load up, and realize that this is a war.
