Looks like immigration is back in the news again. Once again we hear Liberals screaming for amnesty for all people here illegally, while Conservatives scream no amnesty for illegal’s. Here is a little story made simple so even a Liberal can understand it. However, will they, I doubt it.
There are two families: “Joe Legal” and “Jose Illegal”. Both families have two parents, two children, and live in California, or Florida, or Pennsylvania, or Nebraska — you get the idea.
Joe Legal works in construction has a Social Security Number and makes $25.00 per hour with taxes deducted.
Jose Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash “under the table”.
Ready? Now pay attention….
Joe Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax; Joe Legal now has $31,231.00.
Jose Illegal: $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200.0 0 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes. Jose Illegal now has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $24,031.00.
Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics and emergency hospitals at a cost of $0.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

While Soros funded Think Progress is saying that the border is more secure than ever (at least on paper, what with all those pesky illegals sneaking across, plus drug runners, plus the Obama admin running guns the other way), other Democrats are saying “yeah, don’t worry about that border securing commission”, and
(Washington Post) That’s a legitimate worry, according to Frank Sharry, the executive director of America’s Voice, a group advocating for immigration reform. But he tells me that on a conference call yesterday, Democratic Senators reassured immigration advocates that this commission won’t be constructed in a way that will hold up the process for too long.
As Sharry put it, Democrats realize that they can’t “allow the commission to have a real veto” over setting in motion the path to citizenship. He noted that Dems see the commission as “something that gives the Republicans a talking point” to claim they are prioritizing tough enforcement, giving themselves cover to back a process that “won’t stop people from getting citizenship.” However, Sharry added: “The details of this are going to matter hugely, and we’ll have to fight like hell on the individual provisions.”
Interesting. Didn’t I write yesterday that this commission would essentially rubber stamp that the border was secure, that way all these illegals, many who will immediately qualify for social safety net programs and bring little in the way of skills and education, will immediately be put on this so-called pathway to citizenship? Yes, I did. And then there’s this from Mickey Kaus regarding the 5 page release from the Gang of 8

Israel had the junk to do what no other country among the 193 members of the United Nations dared to do: Israel did not show up for its universal periodic review by the Muslim-controlled ‘human rights council.’ And the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, has criticized Israel for doing so.

More proof michelle obama is an alien. Personally I like the one on the right as she looks cuter!
All these MILITARY exercises? Happening more and more across our land. And yes, the are practicing to fight AMERICAN CITIZENS!
One thing though, these guys in the national guard and the army? They have parents, siblings, and more. How do they feel about having to fight people just like their family? Or maybe while fighting other families, their own families are under attack by the same guard or army? These guys should be thinking about stuff like this!
OH Natl. Guard Reacts to 2nd Amendment “Domestic Terrorists” in Mock Disaster Drill
Last Thursday, the Ohio National Guard 52nd Civil Support Unit was deployed to Portsmouth to run a mock disaster drill. The exercise, overseen by the Ohio Emergency Management Agency was to practice their response to the potential release of a chemical, biological or radiological weapon. Terror drills like this one are somewhat commonplace since 9/11/2001, but there is one telling and scary difference.
Via The Examiner:
WSAZ reported: “The make-believe scenario is timely. Two school employees who are disgruntled over the government’s interpretation of the Second Amendment, plot to use chemical, biological and radiological agents against members of the local community.”
Portsmouth Fire Chief Bill Raison told the Portsmouth Daily Times:
“I think sometimes we tend to think of terrorism as just international terrorism. What’s the likelihood that’s coming to Portsmouth, Ohio? Most people think it’s not very likely. But we forget that there’s a lot of domestic terrorism. There’s organizations and things that go on within the United States that can be every bit as devastating as the international terrorism is.”
Where would someone get such an idea?
