Have to say, regardless of what you say the man has or has not done, that he is trying his best, and any other good platitudes? He is still at heart doing his damn level best to destroy the America we know and love!
During my book “tour,” radio hosts are forever asking me whether I believe that Obama is intentionally attempting to destroy America. It’s a fair question, especially given the title of my book and because so many people legitimately believe he is.
I have never been too receptive to conspiracy theories, and I’m not particularly enamored of ones circulating about Obama. But unlike many other such theories, this one is about a truly unprecedented assault on the American idea and on those first principles that have made America the unique experiment in constitutional governance that it has been.
Ordinary people — not just a small fringe group of zealots — are really afraid today. They see the country they adore being attacked at all levels; they see their freedoms under assault, their life savings genuinely in jeopardy, an endlessly anemic economy, a longer period of sustained unemployment than we’ve experienced in a half-century and a national financial crisis, born of world-historic national debt, that this president will not help avert.
These are extremely troubled times. The government is on course to gobble up our health care system; businesses are afraid to hire because of the uncertainties caused by new taxes and regulations that will be unleashed with Obamacare — along with the largest tax increase in the nation’s history, which is already awaiting us in January. Small businesses see an administration that not only is at war with the private sector but also appears to be on a mission to punish and obliterate our domestic energy sources and waste billions more in borrowed federal dollars on green energy projects doomed to fail.
Why? How can anyone explain this insanity? Does Obama truly harbor a grudge against America? What did he mean when he said he wanted to fundamentally change America? What did his wife mean when she said she’d never been proud of America in her adult life before he rose to power? What possesses Obama to deride and apologize for America? What drives him to instinctively distrust business and the private sector and to believe that federal planners ought to have enormously more discretion in how our income and wealth are distributed? What drives him to reject the American concept of equal opportunity and promote the notion of equality of outcomes? Why is he determined to energize labor unions and encourage a permanently adversarial climate between labor and management? Why is he so adamant about the United States deferring to international bodies in the conduct of its foreign affairs? Why is he hellbent on downscaling our nuclear and conventional forces and dismantling our military space program and our missile defenses?
Are people not wholly rational in wondering just what in the world is going on?
My personal belief is that Obama, like so many leftist radicals, has a strong distaste for pre-Obama America and that he believes that the United States has been an imperialistic international bully, that we’ve consumed too much of the world’s resources, that we’ve been an environmental felon and that our capitalistic system unfairly and inequitably distributes income and wealth — and I think he means to effect wholesale change to rectify those sins.
Do I believe that he wants to “destroy” America, as such? No. In his mind, as warped and foreign as I think it is, he doubtlessly believes he is helping to create a better America — a utopia of sorts. That is, he is intentionally trying to fundamentally transform America into something that he believes would be better but that most Americans — and infinitely more if they understood the full scope of what he is up to — would consider horrific, an America that we would barely recognize as the one bequeathed to us by our ancestors.
On the financial front alone, Obama is single-handedly preventing entitlement and discretionary spending reform, without which — as I’ve said dozens of times — America will face financial catastrophe. There is less than zero question that he is doing that on purpose

Tell you, too many people in Florida voted in this dumbass woman!
Disclosure forms reveal that Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a member of Congress from Florida, previously held funds with investments in Swiss banks, foreign drug companies, and the state bank of India. This revelation comes mere days after the Democratic chair attacked presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for holding money in Swiss bank accounts in the past.
“Americans need to ask themselves, why does an American businessman need a Swiss bank account and secretive investments like that?” the DNC chair, a chief surrogate for President Obama’s reelection team, said on Fox News Sunday two days ago. “Just something, a thought, that I’d like to leave folks with.”
It’s been a consistent theme of Obama’s reelection strategy: Attack Romney for foreign investments he held, especially in Swiss bank accounts, “to try to promote his wealthy, out-of-touch businessman persona.”
But disclosure forms reveal that in 2010, Wasserman Schultz invested between $1,001-$15,000 in a 401k retirement fund run by Davis Financial Fund. As the fund discloses, it is invested in the Julius Baer Group Ltd. and the State Bank of India GDR Ltd., as well as other financial, insurance, bank institutions.

From Jack Cashill at American Thinker:
Prevarication, noun: a statement that deviates from or perverts the truth.
On July 5, Fox News ran a piece documenting the “fresh scrutiny” Barack Obama has faced since the June publication of David Maraniss’s new book, Barack Obama: The Story.
“By some counts,” Fox’s James Rosen reported, “The Story presents more than three-dozen instances of material discrepancy where [Dreams from My Father] fails to align with the facts as Maraniss reports them.” Although Rosen tried to determine whether Obama was justified in prevaricating as he did in his 1995 memoir, he did not assess the real cost of that prevarication. Neither did those he interviewed.
Among them was black scholar Gerald Early, who caught some heat for his remarks. Said Early of Obama’s “fabrications,” a word he doesn’t hesitate to use, “I don’t think it much matters whether Barack Obama has told the absolute truth in Dreams From My Father. What’s important is how he wanted to construct his life.”
In the full disclosure department, I have met Early. He struck me as a reasonable guy even before he wrote a positive review of my book, Sucker Punch, for the New York Times. In his defense, Early discusses Obama here as a memoirist in the black tradition, not as a would-be president. That latter task has been undertaken most prominently by two Pulitzer Prize-winning biographers, David Maraniss and David Remnick. Their standard should have been higher.
Sarah Palin would certainly think so. The Associated Press alone assigned eleven reporters to fact-check her memoir, Going Rogue on the suspicion that she would be a presidential candidate in 2012. By contrast, not a single mainstream journalist — not one — fact-checked Dreams before Maraniss in 2012, and even he pulled his punches.
Tellingly, Maraniss would not respond to Rosen’s phone requests for an interview. When Rosen caught up with him at a book signing, Maraniss denied the president “fabricated anything” or “lied to his readers.” Said Maraniss, “I consider his book very valuable in terms of understanding his interior dialogue, his struggle that he went through.”
In earlier interviews, Maraniss was more forthcoming, telling Ben Smith of Buzzfeed that Obama falsified his bio largely to portray himself as “blacker and more disaffected” than he really was. David Remnick made a similar point in his Obama biography, The Bridge. To compensate for his white family and privileged background, writes Remnick, Obama “darkens his canvas as well as he can.”
Darkening the canvas, as shall be seen, has consequences. If done fraudulently, the media — literary establishment included — would seem obliged to challenge the perpetrators at least as vigorously they did, say, Million Little Pieces author James Frey, but they do not. The reason is simple enough: the canvas darkeners almost inevitably advance the media agenda.
Early showed how willingly the media indulge certain kinds of fraud with his forthright deconstruction of Muhammad Ali’s manufactured autobiography, The Greatest: My Own Story. According to Early, Richard Durham, the Marxist-oriented editor of Muhammad Speaks, taped any number of conversations with Ali or between Ali and others and then gave them to an “editor” for writing. That editor was future Nobel Prize winner Toni Morrison. To assure Morrison painted a dark enough picture of Ali’s life, a Nation of Islam honcho reviewed every page.
These collaborators retold Ali’s story to make him appear poorer, tougher, blacker, and more victimized. An all too typical fabrication in The Greatest, one of many, involved the gold medal Ali won at the 1960 Olympics. As Team Ali tells it, Ali and a friend stop at a Louisville diner only to be crudely refused service. Ali thinks of calling his white sponsors to intervene, but each, he realizes, is tainted by his Confederate past.
Once outside, Ali and his pal fight off a gang of motorcycle outlaws, resplendent in Nazi regalia and Confederate flags. The Olympic gold medal, the reader learns, has purchased Ali no refuge from America’s racist heritage. “Suddenly I knew what I wanted to do with this cheap piece of metal and raggedy ribbon,” says Ali. He proceeds to the highest point of a bridge across the Ohio and throws it in.
In fact, before yielding his good sense to the Nation of Islam, Ali relished every moment of his glorious Louisville homecoming. In real life, he wore his Olympic medal until the gold started rubbing off. As to the bridge incident, Ali’s best friend Howard Bingham would later admit the story was “concocted.” “Honkies sure bought into that one,” affirmed Ali sidekick Bundini Brown.
Honkie buy-in began at the top.

What the hell does Michelle Obama know about average Americans “values?” This is the same woman who pissed away countless millions of taxpayer dollars taking 16 vacations during a three year span.
Via Politico:
First lady Michelle Obama didn’t quite pile on the Obama campaign’s calls for Mitt Romney to release more information about his offshore financial holdings, but she did on Tuesday urge voters to examine the records and pasts of candidates. [...]
The first lady won’t be deployed as an attack dog for her husband’s reelection campaign, but she’s a key part of the Obama team’s efforts to contrast the president’s values with Mitt Romney’s.
“No matter who we are, we are all struggling and working toward the same goals. But our leadership does matter,” she said Tuesday. “We have to look for leaders who share our values, who have the same kind of vision for this country that we all share.”

Really? Money was spent to prove the viewpoints of liberals?
A new government study says Muslim terrorists are widely misunderstood and don’t wish to impose Islam around world as is commonly believed in the west, they simply murder innocent people to defend against foreign attacks by enemies of Islam.
At least that’s what the experts at a public university in Arizona have determined. They offer details and make rather comical recommendations to counter terrorism in a taxpayer-funded study released this week. The highly-regarded academics operate a special center dedicated to studying the role of communication in combating terrorism, promoting national security and successfully engaging in public diplomacy worldwide.
To fulfill this mission, the center gets big bucks from the U.S. government. In fact, earlier this year it got a rather generous $6.1 million grant from the Department of Defense (DOD) for a neurophysiological study involving narrative comprehension and persuasion. The center’s biggest project, however, is a six-year, $4.5 million study on Islamist extremists’ use of narrative to influence contested populations in the Middle East, Southwest Asia, North Africa and Europe.
That brings us back to this week’s rather sympathetic report (How Islamist Extremists Quote the Qur’an) portraying Muslim terrorists as misunderstood by westerners. It spans 14 pages, but here is the gist of it; based on how they quote religious texts (Quran), Islamic extremists are not “an aggressive offensive foe seeking domination and conquest of unbelievers, as is commonly assumed. Instead they deal with themes of victimization, dishonor and retribution.”
The report continues: “The verses frequently utilized by extremists” address subjects such as “enduring hardships and the importance of fighting against the unjust unbelievers who oppress men, women and children.” This shows close integration with the rhetorical vision of Islamist extremism, according to the brilliant academics that compiled this on the government’s dime

The Not-So-Perfect Kilogram and Why the Metric System Might Be Screwed
The world’s most perfect weight isn’t so perfect anymore. And that has scientists scared.
Image credit: International Bureau of Weights and Measures
Hidden in a vault outside Paris, vacuum-sealed under three bell jars, sits a palm-sized metal cylinder known as the International Prototype Kilogram, or “Le Grand K.” Forged in 1879 from an alloy of platinum and iridium, it was hailed as the “perfect” kilogram—the gold standard by which other kilograms would be judged.
Although it’s arguably the world’s most famous weight, Le Grand K doesn’t get out much. Since hydrocarbons on fingertips or moisture in the air could contaminate its pristine surface, it goes untouched for decades, under triple lock and key at the International Bureau of Weights and Measures. Every 40 years, however, it makes an appearance. The weight is ushered from its chamber, washed with alcohol, polished, and weighed against 80 official replicas hand-delivered from laboratories around the world. Today, whenever scientists need to verify something is precisely one kilogram, they turn to one of these replicas, over which Le Grand K reigns supreme.
This system sounds absurd, but not too long ago, lots of units relied on similar methods. The kilogram was just one of seven standards of measurement established by the French Academy of Sciences in 1791, all based on physical prototypes. These benchmarks caught on worldwide because standardization was sorely needed. At the time, some 250,000 different units of weights and measures existed in France alone, which meant that the only constant was complete chaos.

Something to think about here. Child Protection Services across the country take children away from neo-nazi parents, from drugged up parents, so when are they going to protect the children of these islamics who believe in genital mutilation and honor killings?
