Bill Clinton Gathering Legal Minds to Fix Hillary’s Benghazi Mess?
Doug Ross is quoting Ed Klein, the author of The Amateur saying Bill Clinton has “assembled an informal legal team”to come up with some strategy to defend Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi strategy, which was insane and irresponsible by any measure. If we have a Marine detachment in Barbados, why wouldn’t we have protected our interests in Benghazi? Perhaps because Hillary has busily and with great import taken on the Muslim cause around the world. She jumped on that bus going in the wrong direction – the vehicle Obama tuned-up in his Cairo speech, and has kept the petal to the metal ever since.
While Hillary has criticized the ills facing Muslim women in speeches in front of world bodies, she has supported Mohamad Morsi, the new Muslim Brotherhood head of the Egyptian government, from the beginning, signaling to the world, that all is well in Egypt. Clinton has denied the startling ties to the Muslim Brotherhood of her Chief of Staff, most senior aide and close friend, Huma Abedin. We are to accept the large Islamic presence in our government, and we will like it. That’s our one option.
Just how often have we heard our State Department take up for the intolerance of Christians anywhere in the world?
Leading members of Egypt’s Coptic Christian community refused to meet with Clinton due to the U.S. government’s “support for Islamism over other political and civil forces.” The meeting with Coptic leaders who did show up apparently did not go any more smoothly: According to human rights campaigner Hossam Bahgat, one speakeraccused the White House of being infiltrated by Islamists — and pointed to Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, Huma Abedine, as evidence. Unless the White House forbade adequate protection of the Benghazi Consulate, this one is Hillary’s mess. The smartest woman in the world is nothing more than a Democrat power monger, who haughtily believes America and Americans are not in her league. When have you heard an ounce of patriotism from Hillary Clinton? Ever? I mean, really, ever?

Leadership… What Leadership?
This has been sticking in my craw for a long time, but it came to the forefront yesterday evening when I was listening to Mark Levin speaking to Michele Bachmann on his syndicated radio program. Michele Bachmann has been targeted not only by the Demarxists, but by her own party. Folks, this is just sick stuff.
Her opponent in this race is a typical lefty, spouting ‘moderate’ themes only to turn hard left once in office. The difference here is that Michele’s opponent, Jim Graves, has very deep pockets with an estimated worth of somewhere around 140 million dollars. He has pumped enormous amounts of his own money into his campaign effort. Michele has no such resources, other than the money contributed by her supporters. She’s no stranger to competition, having won her last four congressional election races.
She’s also no stranger to the Tea Party Patriots, having launched a very large Patriot gathering on the eve of the DeMarxists suborning the law and the Constitution, to pass the economy-breaking MaoBama care without a single Republican vote, behind closed and locked doors. This lady is as solid a Constitutional conservative as they come. So why hasn’t the RNC and its chairman, Reince Priebus, come to her support? Why, in the critical state of Minnesota, in a key district, doesn’t the Republican Party march en masse to support one of their own? As of the latest report I heard, not one dime had been forthcoming from the Republican National Party.
Mark Levin posited that we need look no farther than the Republican leadership. Most conservatives, by now, have come to the conclusion that our Republican leadership is about as useful as sun-baked rock, and about that smart as well. Mark stopped short of accusing John Boehner of being behind it. I have no such compunction. John Boehner is no conservative… not even close.

How is the Obama White House going to fit the entire State Department and the intelligence community under the bus?
Last month’s Benghazi fiasco saw four Americans — including our ambassador to Libya — murdered by elements of al Qaeda in a military-style assault timed to coincide with the 11th anniversary of 9/11.
The weeks afterward saw the administration blaming a video that, even the White House now admits, had nothing to do with it. And the months before the attack saw Washington adamantly reducing security in Benghazi — despite pleas for reinforcements from the folks on the ground.
Yet President Obama’s top spokesman — and Vice President Joe Biden, in last week’s debate — have been busy pointing fingers of blame at State and the IC.
It won’t work. Neither Foggy Bottom nor the intel community’s legion of spooks, analysts and secret-keepers is likely to go quietly.
Indeed, State has already started the pushback. It has pointedly released the transcript of an Oct. 9 media briefing in which Brad Klapper of the Associated Press asks what “led officials to believe for the first several days that this was prompted by protests against the video?”
Someone described only as “Senior State Department Official Two” answers, “That is a question you would have to ask others. That was not our conclusion.”
Of course, Biden and Obama spokesmen like Jay Carney have been claiming that “the intelligence” the White House received at first had blamed the attack on the video.
This part of the blame game will fail because it just doesn’t make any sense. The American IC is not infallible, but what part of it — the CIA? The National Security Agency? State’s own Bureau of Intelligence and Research? — would have leaped to such a ridiculous conclusion?

Bernardine Dohrn just happened to be married to William Ayers, with whom she just happened to have hidden from the FBI at a San Francisco marina, along with Donald Warden, who just happened to change his name to Khalid al-Mansour, and Warden/al-Mansour just happened to be a mentor of Black Panther Party founders Huey Newton and Bobby Seale and a close associate of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, and al-Mansour just happened to be financial adviser to a Saudi Prince, who just happened to donate cash to Harvard, for which Obama just happened to get a critical letter of recommendation from Percy Sutton, who just happened to have been the attorney for Malcolm X, who just happened to know Kenyan politician Tom Mboya, who just happened to be a close friend of Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., who just happened to meet Malcolm X when he traveled to Kenya.

Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul started running ads against Democratic senators who voted to continue foreign aid to regimes in Egypt, Pakistan and Libya last week.
In response, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham held a conference call with West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin to slam both the ad and Paul’s foreign aid bill.
It’s time for Lindsey Graham to go.

South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham’s opposition to political ads targeting several Democratic senate incumbents could create a significant re-election issue for him in 2014.
When Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul launched an ad campaign against Democrats who opposed his proposal to end foreign aid to Libya, Egypt and Pakistan, Graham took the unusual step of defending the Democrats from a fellow Republican.
Graham held a conference call with West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin to slam both the ad and Paul’s foreign aid bill.
Paul swiftly fired back, telling Politico, “I don’t see myself campaigning against a Republican in a general election ever, that’s why I think it’s extraordinary that Graham is supporting a Democrat in a general election.”
“Which is more important,” he asked: “Defending … a failed policy of foreign aid or getting a Republican majority?”
The comes amid speculation that Graham could be a tea party target when he faces re-election two years from now.
Isn’t it about time Republican Congressman Trey Gowdy starts thinking about a senatorial run?

Just three months after the raid by Navy SEAL Team VI that killed Osama bin Laden, those same SEALs were in the news yet again–but for an entirely different reason.
On August 6, 2011, while on their way to assist an ongoing mission in Wardak Province, Afghanistan, the CH-47D Chinook helicopter that they were riding in was shot down by an RPG fired by a Taliban fire team approaching their landing zone in Tangi Valley. All 38 American and Afghan service members who were aboard perished, including 17 Navy SEALS, 5 Navy Special Operations support personnel, 3 Air Force Special Tactics Airmen and the five-man Chinook crew, marking the largest loss of life in America’s 11 years of military operations in Afghanistan. Twenty of the twenty-two SEALs and SEAL support were from SEAL Team VI (DEVGRU).
The parents of one of the SEALs killed in the Chinook attack, Special Operations Chief Aaron Vaughn, are raising questions about how the Obama administration has pushed the limits of the military’s Special Operations Forces as part of its war policy (e.g. the Feb. 20th Newsweek story, “Obama’s Secret Army”), and how constrictive “rules of engagement” intended to win the “hearts and minds” of the Afghan people directly contributed to the deaths of all those aboard the helicopter.
Karen and Billy Vaughn are now trying to raise awareness of some of the problems that they believe continue to cause American service members to be killed in Afghanistan. And to support their case they have a copy of the redacted, now declassified CENTCOM report on the incident that they say raises more questions than it answers.
The report, made available to Breitbart News, was prepared by Brigadier General Jeffrey Colt and presented to CENTCOM Commander Marine General James Mattis.
