NORFOLK, Virginia (Reuters) – Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has picked Congressman Paul Ryan as his vice presidential running mate, the Romney campaign confirmed on Saturday.
“Mitt’s choice for VP is Paul Ryan. Spread the word about America’s comeback team,” a Romney campaign mobile phone application said, confirming widespread reports he had selected the 42-year-old Wisconsin lawmaker who chairs the U.S. House of Representatives Budget Committee.
Romney was expected to introduce Ryan at the retired battleship USS Wisconsin – coincidentally named for Ryan’s home state – in Norfolk, Virginia, at about 9 a.m. EDT (1300 GMT) Saturday.
The announcement will mark the end a months-long search by Romney for a running mate to join him in facing Democratic President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden in the November 6 election.
(excellent choice! young man who the conservatives like. a man with good plans for America)

Paul Ryan wasted no time to blast obama, saying if you have a small business you DID built that! Tell you, Paul Ryan will energize the republicans and he will make the presidential race an exciting one. I think now that the obama campaign is outclassed!
Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., is coming out swinging against President Obama’s “record of failure” by attacking his belief in the role of government in the economy.
“I’m proud to stand with a man who understands what it takes to foster job creation in our economy, someone who knows from experience, that if you have a small business—you did build that,” Ryan will say, according to excerpts of his speech released by the campaign.
Ryan then praised Romney for his career at Bain Capital — mentioning that company’s role in launching Staples, especially — before offering this implicit rebuke of Obama’s attacks on Romney: “We Americans look at one another’s success with pride, not resentment, because we know, as more Americans work hard, take risks, and succeed, more people will prosper, our communities will benefit, and individual lives will be improved and uplifted,” Ryan plans to say.

It should be so damn much fun to see Joe “BFD” Biden try to debate Paul Ryan! Paul will hit that man so hard, in so many ways, that Joe will probably just stand there like a deer in bright lights. Or cry? Or throw an obama fit? Anyways, can not wait for this!
