Did not know this about ESPN, of course I don’t waste my money on their print magazine nor do I frequent their site that much. Thus, do not castigate me for this picture and the link to the magazine.

Obama not worth much to NASCAR nation!
When President Barack Obama turned down free tickets to this weekend’s Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the track hoped to auction off the “presidential” tickets to raise big money for charity.
Instead, the tickets went for less than face value.
The four tickets, which are emblazoned with Obama’s name and the White House address, were sold for $300. Bidding began at $100 and the tickets, which are for some of the best seats at the track, are valued at $110 each.
“Though it didn’t create the frantic, high-paced competitive bidding that we had hoped, it did raise $300 for Speedway Children’s Charities,” NHMS president Jerry Gappens said in a release from the track.
The two-week auction was won by Chesterfield, Mass. native Francine Slesinski, who has attended every NASCAR race at the speedway for the last 10 years.
“Francine got a great bargain, excellent seats to the biggest sporting event in New England and a one-of-a-kind collectible!” Gappens said.
“I planned on getting tickets anyway, but when I saw those up for auction I had to get them,” Slesinski said.

(JPost) — An anti-Semitic cartoon depicting religious Jews praying in front of Jerusalem’s Western Wall took first prize in the inaugural Iranian “Wall Street Downfall” art festival. The winning artist, Mohammad Tabrizi, was awarded 5,000 euros for his entry.
The event, held earlier this week in Tehran, was meant to support the US’s grassroots “Occupy Wall Street”- a grassroots movement which aims to eliminate income inequalities and excesses in the US financial system.
Over 1600 cartoonists from 45 countries submitted entries to the competition, according to Iran’s official English-language Press TV. The contest’s seven judges hailed from Iran, Turkey, Poland and Romania.
“Once again, Iran takes the prize for promoting anti-Semitism,” said Abraham Foxman, director of of the Anti-Defamation League. “The winning cartoon takes the most sacred site in Judaism and perverts it into a shrine of greed. It is offensive on so many levels.”
In 2006, in response to the publishing of caricatures of the Muslim prophet Mohammed by a Danish newspaper, Iran sponsored a Holocaust cartoon contest.

A Totalitarian state is one in which the leader, in this case Barry, has total control of the Government and the people. In practice, the term is used to describe a political situation where a small group of people (i.e. AG Eric Holder, Secretary Hilary Clinton, Secretary Janet Napolitano, and Secretary Leon Panetta) or an organization has total authority over a nation.
As a point worth mentioning, in Hitler’s Germany, there were many characteristics of a Totalitarian state. The Government ran and censored the media. All forms of communication were liable to interference from above and could and were heavily censored. This removes freedom of speech, therefore enabling the government to influence popular opinion via propaganda and false news messages.
Why would a president who might have less than 121 days left in office, should he lose the election, sign his most recent “Executive Order” that allows the Government under the president’s control to take over all forms of communications should he deem that there is a need to do so in a time of crisis? Let’s not forget Barry’s previous Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s most famous comment: ” you never want a serious crises go to waste”.
The next question that one might need to ask themselves is: what defines and/or determines a crisis, and how easy would it be for Barry to create a crisis that he feels is sufficient in nature to have him and his Administration take over all forms of communication? Take your pick. Would an uprising between blacks and whites be sufficient for him to demand the takeover of all forms of communications? Or would an uprising as we had on Wall Street with the 99er’s protesting in the streets and parks against the 1% be sufficient for Obama to declare Martial Law and take over all forms of communications? The truth is that under Barry and his chosen key members of his Administration, the majority of all major enterprises are now virtually controlled completely by our government.
Under Barry’s leadership (or dictatorship, depending on how one want’s to view his actions), our government controls, as of the Supreme Court’s most recent ruling, one-sixth of the American economy by taking over healthcare alone. The government controls our military under the leadership of Leon Panetta, who in his prior life was appointed by Bill Clinton as White House Chief of Staff. They also control the automotive industry, thank’s to Barry’s takeover of GM and Chrysler. The coal and oil industries, thanks to the EPA’s strict regulations and Barry’s “will”, are also all controlled by the government.
The major news media is and has always been in support of Barry and his policies, except for Fox News, and unfortunately, it appears that they too are beginning to buckle under the heel of Obama and his Administration. If one does some research, they will quickly learn that there is absolutely no difference between a totalitarian state and a Muslim-run state; they are identical in that the opinion of the people does not matter. What does matter is the opinion and will of the leadership.
What I find fascinating is that not one single member of Congress has questioned openly Barry’s eligibility in holding office. If one were to do so, he/she could demand that Obama release and produce original documents to prove that he is eligible to be president. Barry’s Occidental College and Harvard University applications would be all that would be needed to end this farce since they would prove without a doubt that he attended those institutions as a foreign exchange student, something the the new Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagen was and is fully aware of. Right, Supreme Court Justice Kagen?
The members of Congress are all in denial of the inevitable, as they remain silent for fear of losing their elitist positions. However, what they all need to ask themselves is: does a Muslim-run or Totalitarian country have any group of individuals similar to those in Congress? That answer, of course, is no. In other words, by their inactions, in all probability they themselves will be instrumental in eliminating their own cherished positions and allowing the America that we once loved and knew to no longer exist.

The Department of Homeland Security is continuing to target patriotic Americans and conservatives who “believe that one’s personal and/or national ‘way of life’ is under attack” as terrorists. They even have this listed in their latest report.

Should disaster strike the U.S., the secretary of Homeland Security will be in charge of re-establishing and prioritizing communications to ensure the continuation of the federal government, according to a new executive order from President Barack Obama.
The executive order, signed on Friday, once again expands the powers of the Department of Homeland Security — this time to include the handling of communications during a national security event or natural disaster. The order also allows for DHS to re-establish communications “through the use of commercial, government, and privately owned communications resources, when appropriate.”
The secretary of homeland security, in coordination with the secretary of defense, would also “serve as the federal lead for the prioritized restoration of communications infrastructure and coordinate the prioritization and restoration of communications, including resolution of any conflicts in or among priorities.”
In addition to further empowering DHS’ role in the federal government, the order also establishes several new committees and outlines the roles of various major executive branch agencies and offices, including the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the Department of State, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Justice, the Department of Defense, DHS, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, General Services Administration and the Federal Communications Commission.

The head of the religion department at Luther College in Iowa recently argued that Jesus Christ, the central figure of Christianity, was in fact, a Muslim.
“‘Was Jesus a Muslim?” asks Prof. Robert F. Shedinger in the beginning of a book he published this year entitled Was Jesus a Muslim? ” I will answer with a very qualified yes.”
In a recent interview Shedinger also defended his controversial thesis explaining that a Muslim undergraduate student had sent him on academic odyssey that culminated with him asking himself “Was Jesus a Muslim?”
“Even as a Christian I have to answer yes to that,” said Shedinger, who is the head of the religion department at Luther College in Iowa.
Shedinger also argued that Islam is a better fit for Jesus since it is not a religion but a “social justice movement.”
“I had to rethink what Islam is… I came to the conclusion that it was a social justice movement and I think that’s who Jesus was in the first century so I conclude Jesus is more like a Muslim,” he said.
The vast majority of scholars, historians, Muslims, and Christians date the birth of Islam to 622 ADE when the Prophet Muhammad claimed to have received visions that were eventually compiled into the Koran. Jesus, on the other hand, is believed to have existed more than 600 years earlier, at around 0 BCE.

(CNSNews.com) – Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), the assistant House Democratic leader, admitted Wednesday that the individual mandate found in the Obamacare is a tax imposed on those who don’t purchase insurance.
On Capitol Hill, Wednesday, CNSNews.com asked Clyburn: “In voting to uphold the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate, are you voting for a tax?”
The number three Democrat in the House replied, “Am I voting for a tax? Only on those freeloaders who don’t purchase insurance.”
CNSNews.com followed up with the question: “So is [Supreme Court Chief Justice] John Roberts wrong in calling it a tax?”
“No,” Clyburn replied. “Roberts said, I cannot find a way to uphold this under the Commerce Clause but I can find it under the taxing authority of the Congress,” replied Clyburn.

The Obama administration is moving to shut down nine Border Patrol stations across four states, triggering a backlash from local law enforcement, members of Congress and Border Patrol agents themselves. Critics of the move warn the closures will undercut efforts to intercept drug and human traffickers in well-traveled corridors north of the U.S.-Mexico border.
Six of the border patrol stations are in Texas.

The Obama administration is moving to shut down nine Border Patrol stations across four states, triggering a backlash from local law enforcement, members of Congress and Border Patrol agents themselves.
Critics of the move warn the closures will undercut efforts to intercept drug and human traffickers in well-traveled corridors north of the U.S.-Mexico border. Though the affected stations are scattered throughout northern and central Texas, and three other states, the coverage areas still see plenty of illegal immigrant activity — one soon-to-be-shuttered station in Amarillo, Texas, is right in the middle of the I-40 corridor; another in Riverside, Calif., is outside Los Angeles.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection says it’s closing the stations in order to reassign agents to high-priority areas closer to the border.
“These deactivations are consistent with the strategic goal of securing America’s borders, and our objective of increasing and sustaining the certainty of arrest of those trying to enter our country illegally,” CBP spokesman Bill Brooks said in a statement. “By redeploying and reallocating resources at or near the border, CBP will maximize the effectiveness of its enforcement mandate and align our investments with our mission.”
But at least one Border Patrol supervisor in Texas has called on local officers to “voice your concerns” to elected officials, warning that the “deactivation” will remove agents from the Texas Panhandle, among other places. Several members of Congress have asked Border Patrol Chief Michael Fisher to reconsider the plan. And local officials are getting worried about what will happen once the Border Patrol leaves town, since they rely on those federal officials to assist in making immigration arrests.
