Here is a breaking story on John Edwards. Seems he was pounding high priced prostitutes.
John Edwards is First Name Uncovered in ‘Millionaire Madam’ Investigation
MANHATTAN — A call girl working for alleged “Millionaire Madam” Anna Gristina told investigators she was paid to have sex with former U.S. Sen. John Edwards when he was in New York raising money for his failed presidential bid, DNAinfo has learned.
Edwards is the first big name to surface in connection to Gristina’s alleged prostitution scheme run out of an Upper East Side apartment.
Edwards’ lawyer declined to comment when reached Wednesday. On Thursday morning, his attorneys issued a statement to Politico and other news outlets saying their client “categorically” denied the allegation. Later Thursday morning, DNAinfo was contacted by Edwards’ attorney, Abbe Lowell, demanding a retraction.
DNAinfo stands by its story.
According to “On The Inside” sources, Edwards allegedly hooked up with one of Gristina’s high-end hookers in 2007 when the dashing pol from North Carolina brought his then high-flying presidential campaign to the Big Apple.

Congress catches KONY fever – both Democrats and Republicans 26 years later, the USA decides this guy is bad?
‘Rush Limbaugh Show’ responds to Media Matters, David Brock Read this one carefully. Shows you how the left plans things years ahead.
Forrest Gump has got to be on something considerably more potent than the standard Libutard Kool-Aid. Has Hollywood everyman, Tom Hanks finally reached his Soon-Yi moment? That point in time where an entertainer’s extra-curricular activities render him unwatchable. For me, he achieved that status when he lent his talents to Opie and Dan Brown’s effort to drag the name of Christ through the dirt in “The DaVinci Code” movie. But for the more patriotically minded, his choice to narrate Obama for America’s 17 minute, Leni Riefenstahl style propaganda piece, “The Road We’ve Traveled,” has got to be the last straw. You’d think leftist compassion would’ve driven Obamaton Tom and Barack to offer the gig to some unemployed voice-over guy with better pipes than Hanks. I guess “the heart wants what the heart wants.” ?
Best damn idea I have run across! Why did not someone come up with this years ago and get it done?
Let’s review: President Obama unilaterally killed the Keystone XL pipeline, a privately-funded project that would have created thousands of American jobs and decreased our reliance on energy from hostile nations. When Congress moved to override his terrible decision, he personally lobbied members of his own party to hold the line and bury it. But with Americans laboring under punishingly high energy prices — which he and his administration ideologically support — Obama is starting to feel the political heat. Something must be done. That ‘something’ turns out to be an ingeniously shameless piece of political Kabuki theater:

Actually, he is the knucklehead.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney is clearly not pleased with news stories about how President Obama does not plan to mark the two-year anniversary of the signing of his signature health care law.
“[I]f I may, as a layman, take issue with the knuckleheaded reporting that suggests or buys the critique that we’re somehow not proud of the accomplishment by – referring you to [campaign headquarters in] Chicago,” he said.
Carney pointed to the 17-minute campaign film released by the Obama campaign last week. “On my own time, I did happen to see that excellent video that the campaign put out and you might note that it focuses on health care quite significantly,” he said. ”So I’ll leave it at that.”
The leftists and the islamics (they are buddies remember) want Holder to investigate the NYPD for doing it’s job of protecting NYC from muslim terrorists.
U.S. law enforcement’s anti-terror efforts continue to come under attack from Islamists and their political allies. More than 110 organizations — ranging from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) to Jews Against Islamophobia and the Center for Constitutional Rights — sent a letter Monday to Attorney General Eric Holder demanding an immediate investigation of NYPD surveillance policies.
The National Coalition to Protect Civil Freedoms (NCPCF), an organization that depicts convicted terror supporters Sami Al-Arian and Ghassan Elashi and convicted terrorists Aafia Siddiqui and Dritan Duka as victims of law-enforcement “repression,” sent a letter of its own to House Speaker John Boehner, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, and other lawmakers accusing the FBI of framing innocent people in jihadist terror cases.
“These ‘fake terrorism investigations’ create ‘crimes’ where none exist and divert resources from actual threats; improperly target innocent communities and discriminate against whole communities by raising the spectre of ‘terrorism’ where no such plots exist, except those created by the FBI and agents provocateur the FBI rewards; and put the civil liberties of all in jeopardy by turning every new ‘friend’ at church, or at the mosque, into a possible informant.”
Never his fault. Ever.
CUSHING, Okla. (AP) – President Barack Obama firmly defended his record on oil drilling Thursday, ordering the government to fast-track an Oklahoma pipeline while accusing Congress of playing politics with a larger Canada-to-Gulf Coast project.
Deep in Republican oil country, Obama said lawmakers refused to give his administration enough time review the controversial 1,170-mile Keystone XL pipeline in order to ensure that it wouldn’t compromise the health and safety of people living in surrounding areas.
“Unfortunately, Congress decided they wanted their own timeline,” Obama said. “Not the company, not the experts, but members of Congress who decided this might be a fun political issue decided to try to intervene and make it impossible for us to make an informed decision.”
So refreshing to hear a member of Congress not bow down to political correctness.
(The Hill) — Freshman Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) on Thursday afternoon offered detailed and aggressive prescription for how the United States can ensure its security in the new century, and warned that the nation faces “dark days ahead” if it does not prepare for several emerging security threats.
“For the sake of our nation, and of all nations who seek freedom for their citizens, we must be prepared to fight on the 21st Century Battlefield, and we can settle for no less than victory upon it,” he said on the House floor.
West said defining the enemy is a key component of this strategy, and that the United States is not at war with terror, because terrorism is just a tactic used by an enemy. Instead, he said a chief U.S. enemy is Hezbollah, even though the United States rarely names it.
“Until we, as a nation, are able to correctly and openly identify our enemy, we will continue to put our men and women on the ground in harm’s way without a clear mission for success,” he said. “On this 21st Century Battlefield we are not fighting against a single organization, a single leader, or a single nation. We are fighting against Islamic fundamentalism, which knows no country, recognizes no borders, and wears no uniform.”
West added that Islamism is a “theocratic-political totalitarian ideology no different from Nazism, Fascism, and Communism which threatens the free world.”
West said the United States needs to deny this enemy any sanctuary and resources, reduce its sphere of influence and “win the information war” by limiting its ability to use the Internet as another medium for its own purposes.
