Obama, McCaskill, Funded Group Failing to Report Child Rape

The national debate over abortion today is focused on comments Missouri Rep. Todd Akin made about abortions in cases of rape and incest that many have called insensitive and have prompted calls for him to stem down from the U.S. Senate race.

However, President Barack Obama and Akin’s Democratic opponent Claire McCaskill have supported taxpayer funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion business — which has been repeatedly found to have failed to report suspected cases of sexual abuse and child rape to authorities.

In one case out of Ohio,a fourteen year old girl was impregnated by her twenty-two year old soccer coach, a man that she and her parents trusted. The coach knew that he needed to get this “problem” taken care of as quietly as possible since the pregnancy was proof of his statutory rape – repeated statutory rape, in fact, that began almost a year earlier. He turned to Planned Parenthood.

With no questions asked, the Planned Parenthood clinic allowed him to sign for the minor’s abortion in place of her mother and father and to speed up the process and perform the abortion quickly in violation of the state’s 24-hour waiting period. Planned Parenthood staffers didn’t report the sexual abuse to the authorities either – leaving the coach with the opportunity to continue molesting his victim.

In another Ohio case, Planned Parenthood staffers failed to report a father’s sexual abuse of his thirteen-year-old daughter – resulting in his continued abuse of his daughter, Denise Fairbanks, for over another year. According to a staffer’s handwritten note, their policy is “don’t ask, don’t tell.”

In September, 2001, police in Spokane, Washington served the Planned Parenthood abortion business with a search warrant looking for information in yet another case of Planned Parenthood doing an abortion that potentially covers up a case of sexual abuse. In this case, the parents of an unidentified 15-year-old girl, who became pregnant by a 21-year-old man, took her to Planned Parenthood for an abortion after learning from a school nurse that their daughter was pregnant. Police wanted Planned Parenthood to turn over DNA from the remains of the baby killed in the abortion to connect the man to the possible statutory rape charges.

Steve Aden, the Senior Legal Counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund, says, “The evidence is overwhelming that Planned Parenthood, which receives hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer funding annually, routinely ignores, fails to report, and covers up sexual abuse of young girls by older men.”

“Sadly, there is strong evidence that these are not isolated incidents, only examples of a Planned Parenthood policy of empowering sexual abuse of minors,” he has said. “Live Action investigations have revealed that Planned Parenthood clinics across the country have a similarly nonchalant approach to sexual abuse of young girls. Posing as a thirteen-year-old girl seeking an abortion due to intercourse with her thirty-one-year-old boyfriend, Lila Rose called a Bloomington, Indiana Planned Parenthood clinicand was encouraged to lie about her boyfriend’s age and to go out of state to skirt parental notification laws. Calls to Planned Parenthood clinicsin Indianapolis, Tucson, Phoenix, Memphis, Birmingham, Milwaukee, and Louisville revealed similar willingness to hide sexual abuse against children.”

Between 2008 and 2010, Goldman Sachs sent billions of American taxpayer dollars to 32 entities, including many overseas banks, hedge funds and pensions – as reported by the Senate Finance Committee. Asked about the significance of Goldman’s ‘disclosed’ global recipient list (under threat of subpoena), Senator Chuck Grassley stated, “We thought originally we were bailing out AIG. Then later on…we learned that the money flowed through AIG to a few big banks, and now we know that the money went from these few big banks to dozens of financial institutions all around the world.”

At the discretion of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York which was led at the time by Timothy Geithner the current U.S. Treasury Secretary. “I think it proves that he knew a lot more at the time than he told,” Grassley said. “And he surely knew where this money was going to go.”

US taxpayers bail out California homeowners, as banks fail to pay their share

Contrary to what voters were led to believe, California took the unprecedented step this month to give banks and struggling homeowners up to $100,000 in taxpayer funds to reduce underwater mortgages.

Originally, banks and lenders were supposed to pay 50 percent of the cost of reducing the principal for those whose homes are worth less than their mortgage. But when the banks refused, California took the controversial step of paying the entire amount, up to $100,000.

“We thought, you know, 50-50 was much more attractive and we’d have much more traction with lenders, and it just didn’t turn out to work as well as we would have liked,” said Diane Richardson, legislative director of the California Housing Finance Agency.

The program, known as the Hardest Hit Housing Market fund, is part of a $7.6 billion federal effort to help underwater homeowners in 18 states. California received $2 billion. But when banks and lenders who service loans refused to write down even a small portion of the negative equity loans, California decided to use the taxpayer money to pay 100 percent of the mortgage reduction.

Richard Green, a professor of real estate at the University of Southern California, said it’s not what taxpayers signed up for.

“I think taxpayers would be furious at the idea that everybody gets completely off the hook for this,” Green said. “There are people that say, look, I’ve been a renter all these years, I’ve been paying my mortgage all these years, why am I bailing out these people who made a bad decision? I think the politics of it are very combustible.”

Back in 2009, President Obama and other lawmakers discussed the “moral hazard” such federal programs represented. If you help some homeowners, will others abuse the system because they know others will pay up the tab? How many borrowers would purposely fall behind on their payments in the hopes of getting an principal reduction is anyone’s guess, but mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac recently rejected the idea of cutting loan balances, saying savings did not justify the cost.

“A solution that doesn’t take a little bit of flesh from both borrowers and lenders I think is problematic,” Green said. “I do think there needs to be a less sum … of taxpayer money in reducing these balances. I just think borrowers should have to pay for something and lenders should have to pay something for this.”

A number of local chapters of the National Organization for Women are denouncing the DNC convention rules, saying that they unfairly exclude mothers with young children.

“Women are the key to a Democratic victory, and sometimes, children are the key to women. It’s both right and smart for the Democratic Convention to behave as if children exist,” activist Gloria Steinem said in a release.

The group of southern California chapters of NOW are pointing to the lack of childcare at the conventions, as well as the difficulty female delegates have in bringing children to the convention floor. According to the activists, the DNC is requiring young children to have credentials to come onto the convention floor with their parents.

“Moms with young children 6 years of age and under who cannot be left at home, some of whom are breastfeeding, are relegated to second-class status within the Democratic Convention, unable to participate as a delegate due to antiquated policies and inadequate accommodations that were apparently in place before Women’s suffrage,” Susie Shannon, a delegate to the 2012 DNC Convention.

“The DNC requires children and babies to have a credential to enter the Convention, and then denies these credential requests from moms. The DNC credentialing process is being used as a tool to prevent mothers from participating at the Convention and is nothing short of discriminatory,” said Lindsey Horvath, president of the Hollywood NOW.

(CNSNews.com) – Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York said last week that the federal government should assign immigrants to live in cities such as Detroit and “if they survive seven years” make them citizens.

“All the federal government’s got to do is say, ‘We’re gonna welcome here in this country–first come, first served–families, if they’re willing to come here under the following terms,: Bloomberg said in Boston on Aug. 14. “We’re going to assign you a city–let’s say Detroit–you got to agree to not be arrested and not take any federal, state or city money, and you’ve got to live there for seven years, and if you survive seven years, we’ll make you and your family full citizens.”

Bloomberg was speaking along with News Corporation Chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch at a forum sponsored by the New England Council.

Bloomberg predicted if the federal government assigned immigrants to cities such as Detroit they would buy and fix up “houses that are derelict,” improve the local schools, create businesses and stimulate the local economy.

(CNSNews.com) – New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg indicated that illegal border crossings from Mexico into the United States have been non-existent for a “long time.”

Speaking at an Aug. 14 immigration-related panel discussion in Boston sponsored by the New England Council, New York City’s independent mayor advised illegal immigrants that they should not waste their time and risk the dangers of crossing the desert to illegally enter the U.S. Instead, he said, they should fly in with a visa and overstay their allowed time of admission.

Jerry Seib of The Wall Street Journal, the event’s moderator, asked Bloomberg, “My son is a physics major down the road at Brown University, if you let in a lot of foreign science, technology, and engineering [majors], aren’t you diluting his job market? And my sister lives in Amarillo, Texas, and they’re very worried about waves coming up north over the border there. What are you going to tell them?”

“Number one nobody has come across the border in a long time,” responded the mayor. “I mean we spend a fortune on technology, and if you want to come to America illegally, don’t waste your time going across the border and through the desert. It’s dangerous. Just get on an airplane, fly here, and overstay your visa. We have absolutely no ability to track who you are and get you back.

Obamacare has nothing to do with care

Obamacare is nothing but a push to create a public union behemoth. Health and care is the last thing that Obama is concerned with.

“It is clear that Big Labor is banking on the probability that all healthcare workers eventually become federal, state, and municipal healthcare employees,” Loos told Factor. That, he said, would make them eligible for involuntary unionization through public-sector unions like AFSCME and the SEIU.

“Obamacare is an SEIU and AFSCME membership ‘net,’” Loos claimed, “designed to eventually capture 21 million forced-dues paying government workers.” New health care jobs created by Obamacare, he said, will eventually be filled by “federal, state, and municipal healthcare employees.”

The Obamacare law, once fully implemented, will dramatically increase the number of health care workers receiving payment for their services through government programs, including Medicaid and so-called “public option” government-run insurance plans.

“The government employee unions can then enlist pro-union state governments to treat these health care workers as ‘government employees,’” Factor told The Daily Caller, “and unionize them just like they unionized the care providers” themselves.

“For every million additional health care workers unionized in the 27 non-right-to-work states,” he told TheDC, “the unions stand to earn $1 billion in dues.”

They’re all fine people, but you want to have a look at the mosque and what they’re being told.”

“And most of them are just fine, but there are a few who are rabble rousers and brain washers and send these kids back for a year to Pakistan. Then they come back. I think you’ll find – certainly in Britain I know they’re doing this,” he said.

Romney Really Needs to Fight Back

If Mitt Romney wants to fight back against the onslaught of Obama’s vicious and deceptive negative advertising, then Dontae and Angela Adams need to become household names in America. In fact, they need to become symbols for what the Obamas are really about.

The Adams’ story begins with Michelle Obama’s appointment as an executive director of the University of Chicago Medical Center. Mrs. Obama established satellite health centers ostensibly designed to tend to the community’s medical needs. David Axelrod, currently the senior strategist for Obama 2012, subsequently teamed with Michelle to launch an advertising campaign to redirect community members away from the prestigious medical center and to these facilities.

Mrs. Obama’s plan was benignly called the Urban Health Initiative. Axelrod’s ASK Public Strategies promoted the plan to the community. One of the promotions was that the plan guaranteed free shuttle rides to and from the external satellite clinics.

There is something highly commendable, indeed noble, about bringing medical care to the indigent by going into their neighborhoods. That is, if there is not another agenda in play.

The university medical center is a premier medical institution and caters to well-insured and affluent clients. Some of Chicago’s poorest south-side neighborhoods are within a two-mile radius. These people generally have Medicaid or Medicare, if any insurance at all, and the hospital cannot command the kind of reimbursement payments from them that it can command from the well-insured and affluent.

Hospitals get additional subsidies from the federal government to cover charity cases. When Michelle Obama worked for the medical center, it spent less for the care of the indigent, as a portion of total budget, than the average non-profit hospital in Cook County, although the indigent constitute a substantial portion of the population in the surrounding neighborhoods. Indeed, the Mail (London) On Line, in a long story about Mrs. Obama, raised the issue of why she went to work for a hospital which, the Mail alleges, was known in the community for its ruthless greed.

Mrs. Obama, with David Axelrod’s help, redirected the indigent away from the hospital to the satellite centers, where care was less costly and, of course, less encompassing. In 2007 and 2008, the medical center, a non-profit organization, was turning a profit well in excess of 100 million dollars. The hospital appeared to community activists to be engaged in a process of dumping the poor and cherry-picking from the rich in order to enhance its revenue. In 2002, the year Michelle started working at the medical center, it refused to admit a man suffering from stomach pains, allegedly because he had no insurance. He later died at another hospital. Four years later, the Department of Health and Human Services fined the hospital because of this case.

In August 2008, twelve-year-old Dontae Adams was attacked by a stray pit bull that nearly tore off his lip. Dontae’s mother, Angela Adams, rushed him to the emergency room at the University of Chicago Medical Center. There, Dontae received Tylenol, a tetanus shot, and antibiotics, but the medical center refused to admit him for the vital surgery to sew back on his lip. Angela Adams claims that the hospital refused to accept her Medicaid for the surgery.

A panicked but highly aware mother, Angela Adams took Dontae on a public bus for the hour-long journey to the county medical center. Arriving at five in the morning with gauze pressed to his bleeding wound, Dontae was quickly admitted to surgery so his lip could be reconstructed and his speaking ability preserved. With high praise for the mother’s reactions, surgeon Mark Grevious, who reconstructed Dontae’s lip, told the press that this was a serious matter, and it needed to be addressed.

The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), in the wake of the Dontae Adams incident, expressed grave concern over Michelle Obama’s medical initiative, diplomatically calling it “dangerously close” to patient-dumping.

For its part, the university’s physicians, who reviewed the Adams’ case, claim the hospital acted properly, and that admitting Dontae to surgery would have enhanced the prospect of infection. Obviously, the opinion was not shared by Dr. Grevious. Dr. Nick Jourles, president of the ACEP, said that there is no reason why surgery would have enhanced the likelihood of infection.

Mitt Romney, contrary to the pro-Obama campaign ad that falsely asserts that he condemned a cancer patient to death, killed no one. Michelle Obama, in contrast, implemented a policy to redirect poor patients from a hospital that receives tax breaks and incentives, in the hundreds of millions, to treat them. One of these did die as a consequence of that policy. That is not to say Mrs. Obama killed anyone. It is to say that she helped implement a policy and underscored a medical culture of keeping the poor out, and that policy had consequences.

One child could have been speech-impaired for the rest of his life, save for a valiant and determined mother, because of the medical center’s policies. And those are the cases that made news.

The tag line for portraying Mrs. Adams’ experience should come from her own words: “It’s not just about my child.”

So if Mitt Romney wants to stop talking about how Barack Obama’s negative and deceitful campaign is beneath the dignity of the office and wants to come out swinging, I want to see a poster showcasing Angela Adams as a woman of courage and valor who did not let Mrs. Obama’s initiative deprive her son of his ability to speak. And I want to know, who is the faceless and nameless man who died from poverty because of alleged patient-dumping? His death needs to speak to us as part of this campaign. Portraying his death would give dignity and justice both to the man and to the Romney campaign.

Biden and the Black Talented Tenth

In a statement to a predominately black audience, Vice President Joe Biden, while attacking Gov. Romney, uttered these words: “He’s going to let the big banks once again write their own rules — unchain Wall Street! They gawn’ put y’all back in chains.

You would think it remarkable that in the year 2012, a powerful politician who is one heartbeat away from being the president of the United States could show such insensitivity for over 40 million black Americans and get away with it. Just as remarkable, but not surprising, is the deafening silence of the ultra-race-sensitive NAACP, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Congressional Black Caucus. Once we understand why calls of indignation are not forthcoming from this group, we can glean some important insight regarding the team strategy of today’s black and white liberals/socialist/progressives. For with this group of ideologues, it truly is all about Team.

Joe, due to his reputation of being a bumbling politician, cannot solely be blamed for his racial indiscretion. The mantra for the Obama campaign and their surrogates has focused on one thing regarding race, which is to take every opportunity to depict the Republican Party a group of rich white racists. The problem with giving this assignment to ole Joe is that his mouth habitually runs faster than his brain. He simply cannot be trusted without a teleprompter and a promise to read from it. Otherwise he’s apt to say the strangest and the most stupid things.

The strength of the team strategy that allows Joe and other white liberals to insult the black community and get away with it can be found with a group that W. E. B. Du Bois, in 1900, called the Talented Tenth. This is a group of professional liberal black elitists who consider themselves the “Best of their Race.”

Du Bois provides the perfect template for our present-day Black Talented Tenth members. He was a socialist with an ideological belief in the superiority of certain members of his race over others. This allowed him to embrace and introduce abortion into his community. He would give the original all-white, wealthy socialist originators of the NAACP a black face of trust to deliver for years their anti-capitalist message. He gave cover to the white liberal/socialist/progressive establishment’s design to unionize his race, and in the case of Margaret Sanger, to abort their babies. His compensation was prestige, a good job, honor within the integrated world, and the greatest enticement for any Black Talented Tenth: a reputation as an intellectual.

The Black Talented tenth is alive and well today, and its members are being called upon to play both offense and defense for the left: defense with their silence for buffoonish statements by Vice President Biden, and offense by coming up with a new word, “niggerization,” by MSNBC’s Touré to explain Romney’s racist propensity for calling President Obama an “angry man.”

This symbiotic cover can be seen in the arrogance of liberal white men joking about raping the first black female Secretary of State, Condi Rice, with no fear of reprisal. XM satellite radio hosts Gregg “Opie” Hughes and Anthony Cumia laughed as a guest they called “Homeless Charlie” talked about wanting to rape Secretary Rice. Cumia gleefully said, “I just imagine the horror in Condoleezza Rice’s face…as you were just like holding her.”

The response of the NAACP, Sharpton, Jackson, the Congressional Black Caucus, and the liberal women’s groups: silence.

In Madison, Wisconsin in November of 2004, WTDY program director and morning host John Sylvester called Rice — then the nation’s first female national security adviser — “Aunt Jemima.” When asked to apologize by his critics, Sylvester said “he was planning a giveaway on Friday’s show of Aunt Jemima pancake mix and syrup.” “I will apologize to Aunt Jemima.”

The PC Insanity Surrounding the Nidal Hasan Trial

One could be forgiven for thinking that political correctness is only one step away from complete insanity. Last Friday, a military appeals court halted the murder case against Maj. Nidal Hasan indefinitely. Why? Because Hasan refuses to shave a beard he grew beginning in June to express his allegiance to Islamo-fascism. According to CNN, U.S. Army Col. Gregory Gross, the military judge presiding over the case, “had previously held that Hassan’s beard disrupts the court proceedings and held him in contempt of court five times, the Army said in a news release.” The case is on hold in order to “sort out issues” surrounding the judge’s threat to have Hasan forcibly shaved.

Let me tell what this case is not about. It’s not about trying an alleged mass murderer in a timely manner, for killing 13 people and wounding another 32. We already know that the PC-infested swamp of the Obama administration’s Defense Department has referred to this atrocity as “workplace violence,” as opposed to the Islamic terrorist attack it truly was. That in and of itself is a flirtation with insanity, one that allows for such a definition despite the reality that Hasan was shouting Allahu Akhbar! as he executed one person after another.

Equally insane was what Army Chief of Staff Gen. George Casey was apparently most concerned about shortly after the shooting. After noting that “what happened at Fort Hood was a tragedy,” Casey contended “it would be an even greater tragedy if our diversity becomes a casualty here.” Got that? Compare the tragedy of 13 people killed and 32 wounded against the potential tragedy of a less diverse military, and diversity wins. Best news here? Casey has retired.

Unfortunately, Col. Gregory Gross has not. And he is apparently going to let Hasan’s beard become a far bigger issue than it has to be. Is the beard a violation of Army regulations? Absolutely. But so is mass murder and attempted mass murder. Gross’s fallback position is that Hasan’s beard is a disruption and he wants to avoid any such disruptions during the trial. Closing the trial to anyone, including the media, not directly involved in the case?

Apparently not part of the PC playbook. Gross is hardly alone in the swamp. Prosecutors claim Hasan grew the beard so trial witnesses would have a hard time identifying him — even as they have said they doubt religion is his motive, because he was clean-shaven at the time of the shootings. That would be clean-shaven and shouting Allahu Akhbar, yet the prosecutors have chosen to ignore this inconvenient reality.

Crazier still? The defense attorneys have said Hasan won’t shave because the beard represents an expression of his faith, which the prosecuting attorneys insist wasn’t part of his motive. “He does not wish to die without a beard as he believes not having a beard is a sin,” one of Hasan’s attorneys wrote in his appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Because of the beard issue, that’s where this case is headed: an appeals court will determine if Hasan can be forcibly shaved.

Now let me tell what this case is about. It’s about delay, delay, delay, until we are past the election in November. It’s about an Obama administration that doesn’t want any timely reminders being put in front of an American public about its willingness to view Islamic terrorism through a PC lens so thick that reality becomes the first casualty. The last thing this president needs during the next few months is a high profile trial during which all of the PC-inspired blindness that allowed Hasan to maintain his commission, even as he was becoming more and more radicalized, to be exposed. That includes the numerous email exchanges between Hasan and radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki intercepted by American intelligence agencies, who then proceeded to do nothing. That would be the same Anwar al-Awlaki who was executed by a predator drone, despite the fact that he was an American citizen, because the Obama administration concluded his Islamo-fascist worldview represented a mortal threat to our nation.
