Obama rings up Limbaugh’s ‘slut,’ Georgetown’s Sandra Fluke

A case of milking this for all he can! And he must know the truth of her? See below this story for the truth of this slut!

In a show of moral support, President Barack Obama called Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke on Friday defending her in the face of conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh’s “reprehensible … personal and crude” attacks on her, the White House said.

The conversation, which lasted for “several minutes,” came after Limbaugh branded Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute” for her support of women having access to birth control, Jay Carney, the White House press secretary, said. The president made the call right before Fluke was scheduled to appear on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports.

Obama “wanted to offer his support to her,” said Carney. “He wanted to express his disappointment that she has been the subject of inappropriate personal attacks, and to thank her for exercising her rights as a citizen to speak out on an issue of public policy.”

Fluke appeared on the “Today” show Friday morning to talk about the incident. “I think my reaction was the reaction a lot of women have had historically when they’ve been called these types of names: Initially to be stunned by it, and then to quickly feel outraged and very upset,” she said. “[It's] an attempt to silence me, to silence all of us from speaking about the health care we need.”

Now for the truth of this woman!

She’s a 30 year old women’s rights activist!

The Democrat’s token abused college coed is actually a 30 year-old hardcore women’s rights activist.

Sandra Fluke is also the past president of Law Students for Reproductive Justice.

Jammie Wearing Fool reported:

I put that in quotes because in the beginning she was described as a Georgetown law student. It was then revealed that prior to attending Georgetown she was an active women’s right advocate. In one of her first interviews she is quoted as talking about how she reviewed Georgetown’s insurance policy prior to committing to attend, and seeing that it didn’t cover contraceptive services, she decided to attend with the express purpose of battling this policy. During this time, she was described as a 23-year-old coed. Magically, at the same time Congress is debating the forced coverage of contraception, she appears and is even brought to Capitol Hill to testify. This morning, in an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show, it was revealed that she is 30 years old, NOT the 23 that had been reported all along.

In other words, folks, you are being played. She has been an activist all along and the Dems were just waiting for the appropriate time to play her.

Unreal. This was all just a big dishonest Democrat ploy to take the attention off of Barack Obama’s assault on religious freedom.

A Frenchman claiming that a Google Maps’ Street View picture of him peeing in his front yard has made him a “laughingstock” is suing the tech giant for 10,000 euros.

“Everyone has the right to a degree of secrecy,” his lawyer, Jean-Noel Bouillard, told Reuters. “In this particular case, it’s more amusing than serious. But if he’d been caught kissing a woman other than his wife, he would have had the same issue.”
The man, who was not identified but referred to as in his 50s and living in a village of 3,000 in the Maine-et-Loire region, “He discovered the existence of this photo after noticing that he had become an object of ridicule,” Bouillaud told AFP, asking that the name of the village not be published.
The Street View photo has the man’s face blurred out, but villagers figured out who the man was immediately, according to Bouillaud. Bouillaud did not explain why his client was peeing in his front yard instead of his home, only that the man was on his own property with the gate closed. The man is suing Google for 10,000 euros (around $13,000) in damages.
Google’s Street View has a collection of unusual photos and peeing isn’t the half of it — apparently it captures lots of prostitutes, drunkenness and public nudity, as well as a some very beautiful landscapes.
We’re not sure if the man has a case, because we’re not familiar with French law, but in America what can be seen from the street is fair game. Think of that the next time you’re too lazy to go inside the house to use the bathroom.

And do these idiots really think that ONE conservative radio host can shut down production of a crappy car?

Read ThinkProgress

————

They blame everyone but themselves for crappy sales about a crappy car.

Typical of liberals unable to accept responsibility for their crappy decisions and actions, GM is pulling the Obama “it’s not my fault so blame anyone but me” card.

And, in the process, have laid off even more American workers even though they give bonuses to those still left, take our taxpayer money and have yet to pay back that loan.

American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) president Richard Trumka told The Daily Caller that the right to form a union should “absolutely” be added to the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

“It should be a right. Everyone should have a right to come together to better their economic lot. … It is a right. The right to have a voice on the job should be every much as strong and as institutionalized as the right to vote and everything else — not to be discriminated against.”

Had Michigan not been as close, the Democrats would have waited to spring this on us in the general election. Luckily we have it now and I hope Ohio voters are paying attention.

In July 2009, Mitt Romney wrote an op-ed in USA Today urging Barack Obama to use an individual mandate at the national level to control healthcare costs.

On the campaign trail now, Mitt Romney says the individual mandate is appropriate for Massachusetts, but not the nation. Repeatedly in debates, Romney has said he opposes a national individual mandate.

In a scary development, a major Obama fundraiser who defended a convicted al Qaeda terrorist will become the third highest ranking official at the Department of Justice (DOJ), which, ironically, is charged with defending the interests of the United States.

Northern California lawyer Tony West has been named Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division, making him the No. 3 guy at the agency. In 2009 West, who helped Obama raise tens of millions of dollars as finance co-chairman of his first presidential campaign, was appointed to help run the DOJ’s civil division which represents the government, Congress and presidential cabinet officers and handles cases dealing with significant policy issues.

In a statement announcing the promotion this week, Attorney General Eric Holder says West has served the department with “professionalism, integrity and dedication.” Holder also mentions West’s work before coming to the DOJ a few years ago, including a stint as a Special Assistant Attorney General in California and a lengthier career at a large San Francisco law firm.

Conveniently omitted in the press release is that West represented convicted al Qaeda terrorist John Walker Lindh, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence. Lindh was captured in Afghanistan in 2001 while fighting against the U.S.-backed Northern Alliance as a member of the Taliban army. He actually pleaded guilty to aiding the Taliban and carrying explosives while fighting U.S. troops in the region.

Lying when it works better than truth

Robert Knight – OneNewsNow
This year’s presidential election will be a contest between truth and lies.

Don’t think it’s that stark?

Let’s compare how the media handled two incidents.

On Feb. 16, philanthropist Foster Friess, a major backer and adviser to Rick Santorum, cracked a joke that became a media sensation.

In an MSNBC interview with Andrea Mitchell, who asked him if Mr. Santorum’s socially conservative stances would harm his “viability,” Mr. Friess lamented that other issues like the economy and national security were being eclipsed by the focus on sex. Then he quipped:

“You know, back in my days, they’d use Bayer aspirin for contraceptives. The gals put it between their knees, and it wasn’t that costly.”

That’s an old one, but since it raises the issue of moral volition, all but humorless feminists usually chuckle. But listen to this from the Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart:

“Friess’s stupefying, backward and dangerous response had jaws dropping from coast to coast….The view espoused by Friess is dumb and grim.” He finished by describing the idea of Mr. Friess having White House access someday as “terrifying.”  Mr. Capehart is also terrified by defining marriage as a bride and a groom, so it’s not all that surprising that Mr. Friess’s joke scared him silly.

Over on CBS.com, Lucy Madison reported the incident with a headline proclaiming, “Foster Friess: In my day, women ‘used Bayer aspirin for contraceptives.’”  Madison explains, deadpan: “Friess’s implication is that if women hold aspirin between their legs, they won’t open them.” Ah. Now we get it. Thanks, Ms. Madison.

Likewise, the Associated Press’ Julie Carr Smith and Steve Peoples reported:

“Foster Friess, the main donor behind Santorum’s ‘super PAC,’ created a stir Thursday when he suggested on national television that aspirin used to be an acceptable method for contraception.”

No, he didn’t. He told a joke. Mr. Friess, whom I know as a friend, often cracks jokes to lighten very serious discussions. He regards a sense of humor as one of God’s greatest gifts to us.

Contrast the media’s thrashing of Mr. Friess with the kid-glove treatment they gave North Carolina Democratic Gov. Bev Perdue after she got caught on tape last Sept. 27th saying:

“I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover.”

The tape reveals that she was serious, without a hint of irony. But the Raleigh News & Observer political blog ran this headline: “Perdue jokes about suspending congressional elections for two years.” The article itself said it was “unclear” whether Perdue was “serious.”

USA Today’s Catalina Camia, under the headline “N.C. Gov. Perdue: Suspend elections for Congress,” began her report with this benefit-of-the-doubt lead:

“Was North Carolina Gov. Bev Perdue joking when she suggested holding off on elections for Congress?”

Two weeks ago, Barack Obama showed how to play this game. Caught in a hurricane of reaction against his administration’s tyrannical order to Catholic hospitals to offer insurance covering contraceptives, abortifacients and sterilizations, he pretended it was still being negotiated.

“It became clear,” he told a hastily arranged Feb. 10 press conference, “that spending months hammering out a solution was not going to be an option.”

Reality check: Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in January gave hospitals one year to comply — or else lose federal funding.

A Wall Street Journal editorial noted that when a reporter had asked, “Just to be clear, so it’s giving them a year to comply rather than giving them a year to in any way change how they feel or the Administration to change how it feels,” a senior official replied, “That is correct. It gives them a year to comply.”

The media took no interest in this, uh, contradiction. As the year unfolds, Mr. Obama is counting on them to skate over his prevarications and instead apply a microscope to the Republican candidates, including jokes by supporters.

With that kind of backing, an unscrupulous politician would be tempted to stretch the truth to the point of snapping it in the electorate’s face. Especially someone who spent his formative, community organizing years in Chicago, absorbing the ruthless tactics and contempt for truth expounded by his guiding light, Saul Alinsky.

Obama’s campaign bully brigade rides again

From Michelle Malkin
They’re baaaaaaack. Barack Obama’s election-year goon squad kicked into high gear this week by kicking the president’s fiercest opponents in the teeth and targeting their pocketbooks. Returning to bully business as usual, the Obama campaign launched a brazen salvo against two prominent conservative critics and their legions of private citizen donors.

Let’s be clear (to use Obama’s favorite phrase): This is not just the politics of personal destruction. It’s a vendetta of campaign finance destruction. Under the guise of “disclosure,” Team Obama is exploiting the power of high government office to intimidate lawful, peaceful contributors who support limited-government causes.

In a scathing fundraising e-mail appeal, Obama campaign manager Jim Messina name-checked wealthy free-market philanthropists Charles and David Koch — along with a growing movement of grassroots conservatives who have freely, voluntarily and legally given money to the Koch-founded nonprofit activist group Americans for Prosperity and its sister foundation. As a speaker at several AFP events over the past three years, I’ve met thousands of like-minded, hardworking Americans who support their work at the local, state and federal levels.

The Koches’ sins are to (1) follow tax law and protect the identities of donors to their charitable organizations, and (2) exercise their free speech by funding advocacy ads informing the public about the Obama administration’s jobs toll destruction and failed green energy “investments.” (Their most recent TV spot zeroed in on the taxpayer-funded Solyndra bankruptcy.)

“When you attempt to drown out (Americans’) voices through unlimited, secret contributions to pursue a special-interest agenda that conflicts with what’s best for our nation, you must expect some scrutiny of your actions,” Messina railed. The threat of scrutiny was backed by Obama himself, whose official campaign Twitter account directed 12 million-plus followers this week to “add your name to demand that the Koch brothers make their donors public.”

But Obama’s own former top officials run a so-called super PAC (Priorities USA) that also maintains nonprofit status and subsidizes advocacy ads while protecting its donor base. The White House, of course, is mum on the unlimited, secret contributions that Obama is now encouraging wealthy liberals and lobbyists to make in pursuit of his own special-interest agenda — i.e., re-election.

The president’s flapping lips are also sealed when it comes to applying his disclosure standards to the shadowy, George Soros-backed Center for American Progress, which has supplied the Obama administration with countless top policy staffers, including special Department of Health and Human Services assistant Michael Halle and HHS Director Jeanne Lambrew, a former senior fellow at the Center for American Progress. CAP founder John Podesta was Obama’s transition chief, overseeing the backroom process of rewarding friends and allies with plum positions. CAP flacks shrugged off conflict-of-interest questions: “We respect the privacy of supporters who have chosen not to make their donations public,” CAP spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri said.

As for respecting the privacy rights of Obama’s foes? Not so much.
