Obama – The Food Stamp and Dream Act President
Immigrant job-seekers have gained far more in President Barack Obama’s weak economy than have native-born Americans, according to government data.
Since Obama’s inauguration, employers have fired and hired millions of workers during the bust and slow recovery. The net result is that they employed more than 1.7 million more immigrants — but only 418,000 more native-born Americans — in August 2012, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ household survey.
That number “seems like a usable tool on the table if [Gov. Mitt] Romney wanted to use it … to drive up [his] numbers,” a GOP operative told The Daily Caller.
Romney may want to leverage those numbers. He’s lagging among a winnable and critical constituency — swing-voting, working class whites in the Midwest — whom Washington, D.C. has forced to compete against the huge influx of low-skill, low-wage immigrants.
“The number sounds right,” said Mark Weaver, a GOP consultant in Ohio. “There are parts of Ohio that would be receptive to the message that Barack Obama has opened the door to illegal immigration that is taking jobs from Ohioans.”

All the Missing Horses: What Happened to the Wild Horses Tom Davis Bought From the Gov’t?

The Bureau of Land Management faced a crisis this spring.
The agency protects and manages herds of wild horses that still roam the American West, rounding up thousands of them each year to keep populations stable.
But by March, government pens and pastures were nearly full. Efforts to find new storage space had fallen flat. So had most attempts to persuade members of the public to adopt horses. Without a way to relieve the pressure, the agency faced a gridlock that would invite lawsuits and potentially cause long-term damage to the range.
So the BLM did something it has done increasingly over the last few years. It turned to a little-known Colorado livestock hauler named Tom Davis who was willing to buy hundreds of horses at a time, sight unseen, for $10 a head.
The BLM has sold Davis at least 1,700 wild horses and burros since 2009, agency records show — 70 percent of the animals purchased through its sale program.
Like all buyers, Davis signs contracts promising that animals bought from the program will not be slaughtered and insists he finds them good homes.
But Davis is a longtime advocate of horse slaughter. By his own account, he has ducked Colorado law to move animals across state lines and will not say where they end up. He continues to buy wild horses for slaughter from Indian reservations, which are not protected by the same laws. And since 2010, he has been seeking investors for a slaughterhouse of his own.
“Hell, some of the finest meat you will ever eat is a fat yearling colt,” he said. “What is wrong with taking all those BLM horses they got all fat and shiny and setting up a kill plant?”
Animal welfare advocates fear that horses bought by Davis are being sent to the killing floor.
“The BLM says it protects wild horses,” said Laura Leigh, founder of the Nevada-based advocacy group Wild Horse Education, “but when they are selling to a guy like this you have to wonder.”
BLM officials say they carefully screen buyers and are adamant that no wild horses ever go to slaughter.
“We don’t feel compelled to sell to anybody we don’t feel good about,” agency spokesman Tom Gorey said. “We want the horses to be protected.”
Sally Spencer, who runs the wild horse sales program, said the agency has had no indication of problems with Davis and it would be unfair for the BLM to look more closely at him based on the volume of his purchases.
“It is no good to just stir up rumors,” she said. “We have never heard of him not being able to find homes. So people are innocent until proven guilty in the United States.”
Some BLM employees say privately that wild horse program officials may not want to look too closely at Davis. The agency has more wild horses than it knows what to do with, they say, and Davis has become a relief valve for a federal program plagued by conflict and cost over-runs.
“They are under a lot of pressure in Washington to make numbers,” said a BLM corral manager who did not want his name used because he feared retribution from the agency’s national office. “Maybe that is what this is about. They probably don’t want to look too careful at this guy.”

Students doing as their liberal professors tell them.
The University of California Student Association (UCSA) secretly passed a resolution last month which condemned the nation of Israel of “racism.”
The resolution, passed through the student organization with unanimous support, claims there is a “wealth of scholarship and legal opinion” that exists affirming “racism” on behalf of Israel.
The resolution was in response to HR 35, a California Assembly resolution condemning anti-Semitism in higher education.
No agenda for the meeting was published in advance and UCSA did not contact Jewish organizations about the vote, despite inviting SJP to give a presentation.
Internal emails, obtained by the Daily Californian reveal that the planning of the vote was kept quiet in order to intentionally suppress dissent.
Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) member Luma Haddad, acknowledged in an e-mail to her organization’s board that the vote was kept quiet to prevent opposition.

Mark Levin: The national white liberal media outlets are racist
Mark Levin started his show by asking if the national media in this country is racist. After all, it took the Spanish-speaking network Univision to actually do real journalism and uncover the gory details of what actually happened as a result from this administration letting guns walk into Mexico. Levin says he doesn’t like to play the race card, but he’s making a point that these network hosts are white liberals who refuse to do their jobs and report the truth about the scandals around this administration. He wants to know when the media is going to hold this president accountable. But given their preferential treatment of Obama surrounding what stories they choose to ignore vs the ones they cover, Levin concludes they are racist.

Meanwhile In Saudi Arabia of the Day: Looks like Ikea is in a bit of a hot mess: Eagle-eyed editors at the Swedish edition of Metro noticed something peculiar about Ikea’s latest Saudi Arabia catalog — all the women have been Photoshopped out.
Ikea has apologized, saying “We should have reacted and realized that excluding women from the Saudi Arabian version of the catalog is in conflict with the Ikea Group values.”
Nevertheless, Swedish trade minister Ewa Bjorling makes a good point: Try as the Saudis might, “you can’t delete women from society.”

Deep Thoughts With the Homeless Billionaire
Twelve years ago, Nicolas Berggruen sold his apartment, which was filled with French antiques, on the 31st floor of the Pierre Hotel in Manhattan. He said he no longer wanted to be weighed down by physical possessions. He did the same with his Art Deco house on a private island near Miami. From that point on he would be homeless.

That way he doesn’t get stuck at a small table. He leaves room for dessert. He adores chocolate.

1. What if the Romans won the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest?
Effect: No one would speak English.
Explanation: In What If? (1999), edited by Robert Cowley, historians pondered what would happen if historical events had turned out differently. Many of these were popular questions — What if the Americans lost the Revolutionary War? What if the D-Day invasion had failed in 1944? But an essay by the late Lewis H. Lapham, then editor of Harper’s Magazine, recalled a little-known confrontation in 9 AD between the Roman legions and the Germanic tribes at the Teutoburg Forest. The tribes ambushed and destroyed three Roman legions in this campaign, and the Romans would never again attempt to conquer Germania beyond the Rhine.
Lapham suggested that, if the Romans had won, world history would have been remarkably different, with a “Roman empire preserved from ruin, Christ dying… on an unremembered cross, the nonappearance of the English language, neither the need nor the occasion for a Protestant Reformation… and Kaiser Wilhelm seized by an infatuation with stamps… instead of a passion for cavalry boots.”

NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — Two guns once in the possession of notorious gangsters Bonnie and Clyde when they were killed in a hail of gunfire sold at a New Hampshire auction Sunday for more than half a million dollars.
The guns were two of 134 artifacts that sold for a total of $1.1 million at the auction in Nashua. About two-thirds of the auctioned items were from Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker, but items also came from other notorious criminals, including Al Capone, Pretty Boy Floyd and John Dillinger.
Bonnie Parker’s .38-caliber Detective Special that she had taped to her thigh when she was killed in 1934 drew the highest bid and sold for $264,000, said Bobby Livingston, vice president of RR Auction in Amherst, N.H., which held the auction.
Clyde Barrow’s 1911 Colt .45-caliber automatic sold for $240,000 to the same bidder, who didn’t want to be named, Livingston said.
“When rare items like that come up for sale you expect this kind of enthusiasm,” Livingston said. “There was some serious bidding going on.”
Many of the auction items came from the estate of the late collector Robert Davis of Waco, Texas, with the remainder coming from various other collections.
Most of the items came from famous gangsters and outlaws, but some were linked to law enforcement officials including Elliot Ness and Texas Ranger Frank Hamer, who led a posse that tracked down and killed Bonnie and Clyde in Louisiana.
Clyde Barrow’s pocket watch sold for $36,000, Livingston said. A 1921 Morgan silver dollar that was found in his pocket after he was killed sold for $32,000.

The title of this piece is a snippet of the Muslim Brotherhood’s motto. That in itself tells you much about this organization.
Considering the recent goings on in the Middle East, I think it’s important to look a bit further into this organization which now has chapters in approximately 80 countries, but more importantly is now in charge of the “Big Daddy” Egypt.
And, as revolutions continue to spread across the Middle East, I’m sure the Brotherhood will only enhance their rule in the region.
What about Iran, you ask? They’re currently developing a nuclear weapon, has threatened the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and vows to wipe Israel from the face of the earth.
All true, but they haven’t yet fully developed a nuclear weapon (and likely won’t), and I seriously question their ability to close the strait considering its importance to the oil industry that would ultimately affect the United States.
Even our current administration will not allow that scenario to play out, and for all their rhetoric, Iran is not prepared for an engagement with the United States.
Now, I realize the attack in Benghazi, where four Americans were killed, is fresh in our minds, and I hope we respond to that incident in a manner befitting the seriousness of the act (instead of an apology), But, we must not lose sight of what’s going on in Egypt…the “Big Daddy” of the region as I mentioned previously.
Egypt is where the President Obama gave his famous “apology” speech in Cairo, and where the United States wholeheartedly supported the uprising to oust Mubarak.
And, in supporting the uprising, the administration had to have foreseen the Muslim brotherhood’s rise to power. Everyone else around them did…including us lowly bloggers.
But did they consider the ramifications of such a takeover? I’m not so sure.
With uprisings now occurring in Yemen, Syria and Jordan, maybe it’s time to take a look at this organizations and their beliefs.
Better stated, maybe it’s time to give President Obama the security briefing he should have received.

The Brotherhood wants America to fall… The U.S. is an infidel that “does not champion moral and human values and cannot lead humanity.”

The Brotherhood calls for jihad against “the Muslim’s real enemies, not only Israel but also the United States. Waging jihad against both of these infidels is a commandment of Allah that cannot be disregarded.

Hamas is a wing of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The Brotherhood supports Hezbollah’s war against the Jews.

The Brotherhood advocates violent jihad.
The Brotherhood advocates a deceptive strategy in democracies: appear moderate and use existing institutions to gain power.
The Brotherhood uses democracy, but once in power it will replace democracy with fundamentalist Sharia law because it is the “true democracy.”
The Brotherhood’s view of women’s rights is to subjugate and segregate women.
The Brotherhood supports Female Genital Mutilation:.
The Brotherhood will not treat non-Muslim minorities, such as Coptic Christians, as equals.
Despite current rhetoric to the contrary, The Brotherhood remains virulently anti-Semitic.
Pretty scary stuff and what stands out most of all is, in addition to Israel, they don’t much like us either!
The Middle East is about to erupt my friends, and Israel is sitting right in the middle of the fray…and likely the target. While I have no doubt Israel can hold its own, a little help from a friend would be nice.
Do you trust the current administration to help when needed? I don’t!
And, let’s not forget one other piece of information. There’s another nuclear armed country in the region that doesn’t get mentioned much – Israel.
Bibi was very clear in his recent speech to the United Nations; he will protect his country at all costs.
Let that sink in before you go to the polls!

Department of Agriculture personnel in the Obama administration have met with Mexican Government officials dozens of times since the president took office to promote nutrition assistance programs — notably food stamps — among Mexican Americans, Mexican nationals and migrant communities in America.
Writing in response to Alabama Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions’ July request for information about the USDA’s little known partnership with the Mexican government to educate citizen and noncitizen immigrants from Mexico about the availability of food stamps and other nutrition assistance programs, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack defended the partnership as a way to curb hunger in America — and the continuation of a program formed under the Bush administration in 2004.
“The Mexico-U.S. Partnership for Nutrition Assistance Initiative is just one of a wide range of USDA partnership activities intended to promote awareness of nutrition assistance among those who need benefits and meet all program requirements under current law.” Vilsack wrote to Sessions in a letter obtained by The Daily Caller.

Obama’s poker tells
President Obama has a number of “poker tells” which he displays when answering questions. They betray an increasing distance between his reply and the truth.
Talk show hosts love when the president gives one of his very rare press conference or any other occasion when he is off prompter. That is when these “tells” surface, giving all veteran Obama observers the verbal heads-up that the president has entered the land of thinly disguised fantasy or obvious dissembling.
First, the president begins a pattern of “ahs” and “uhmms” which are as embarrassing as they are revealing. The awkward pausing punctuated by these semi-stutters increases in frequency as the president senses his own flailing about.
Next, the president begins filibustering. His average length of answer in every press conference is already epic, but he has been getting worse as the presidency has dragged on. Pressers are not battles between the “reporters” and the president. Very few not named Jake or Ed bother the president with fastballs. The struggle is simply between the president and the effort he has to land the plane anywhere near where it took off, so far does he wander as he rambles through the minutes he is obliged to spend appearing to take questions.
The president will allegedly be subject to time limits on Wednesday night, but his contempt for most such rules almost guarantees he will blow through every limit and dare the moderator or Mitt Romney to challenge him.
If either does, we will be treated to “tell No. 4,” the president’s feigned outrage that anyone would interrupt or question him. When this happens, his countenance displays a disapproving sneer and his voice clouds with displeasure. It is practiced. It is also profoundly anti-democratic and arrogant, and if he plays this card on this stage, it will backfire.
Watch as well for nonresponsive self-pity, verbal essays on how difficult it was when he took over and how hard he has been working. Self-pity and self-regard are not designed to endear him to the unemployed or even the economically fragile, so he will be coached to try to avoid displaying his sense of outrage at being thought a failure or “in over his head,” but the president’s sense of his own immensity is so great as to blow past such base political calculations.
Finally, watch for the parade of straw men, the president’s favorite rhetorical trick. He will set up arguments that have never been made in the service of Republican goals that have never existed, and then he will denounce both. If the appearance of a straw man serves as a trigger in a drinking game, many bottles will empty by the end of Debate No. 1.
So the president enters the debate a prohibitive favorite to clobber Mitt Romney. But if Benghazi or the unemployment rate surfaces, if the president’s failure to remedy joblessness, spark a serious recovery, or in any way pose an obstacle to Iran’s nuclear ambitions are brought up in the course of Wednesday night’s first big debate, then watch for these verbal ticks and know that Romney is scoring.
