. . . If President Obama carries only those states where he had a net positive approval rating in 2011 (e.g. Michigan where he is up 48 percent to 44 percent), Obama would lose the 2012 election to the Republican nominee 323 electoral votes to 215.

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Local Congresswoman and chair of the Democratic National Committee Debbie Wasserman Schultz is President Obama’s biggest cheerleader, and that was apparent in her interview with Jack, Tedd and Corey on AM Tampa Bay.
When asked about whether or not she was happy with the results of the Florida GOP Presidential Primary Tuesday night, she said “happy” wouldn’t quite describe her feelings: “(The candidates) have been trying to out right-wing eachother during the entire primary. . . I think that’s why Mitt Romney, in addition to running an unprecidently negative campaign, he’s being hurt among independent and moderate voters nationally.”
Host Tedd Webb asked about how she could call Mitt Romney a “right-winger” she replied, “Um, because it’s true.” She went on to say that she “would consider (President Obama) someone who is a moderate who stands up for the middle class. Stands up for the working class. . .”
In reference to the platform that President Obama will run on in November, Wasserman Schultz said, “(He’s) going to run on his remarkable record of accomplishment.”

Komen announced Tuesday night that they will no longer be awarding the abortion provider Planned Parenthood with grants due to a new policy prohibiting Komen from giving to institutions under investigation by government bodies.
Planned Parenthood is currently facing a congressional investigation into whether taxpayer funds went toward abortions.

There’s a very curious op-ed in The Los Angeles Times today by Rosa Brooks, who is identified as “a professor of law at the Georgetown University Law Center and a fellow at the New America Foundation.” She has a curious and disagreeable premise:
Stung by Republican attacks, Obama has been insisting that he’s no declinist. In last week’s State of the Union address, he nearly out-Romneyed Romney, proclaiming, “Anyone who tells you that America is in decline or that our influence has waned, doesn’t know what they’re talking about.”
That’s dangerous pabulum. Any honest diplomat will tell you that American power and global influence is waning, and if we shy away from acknowledging that fact, we’ll only speed up the process.
By many measures, we’ve hollowed out the American dream: American life expectancy ranks well below that of other industrialized democracies, and the same is true for infant mortality rates and elementary school enrollment rates. We have the highest documented per capita incarceration rate in the world. And as the Occupy Wall Street movement has helped point out, we have greater income inequality in this country than in any other state in the developed world — and most states in the developing world.
America’s in decline? That’s a debatable proposition, though clearly Brooks is doing her level best to make it a self-fulfilling prophecy. However, it’s an astonishing statement to make considering what was left out of Brooks’s bio at the end of the piece. Brooks is formerly a “Counselor to the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy” in the Obama administration.
As a United States Senator, I have sworn an oath to support, defend, and bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of the United States. Complying with this Oath is not always convenient. Sometimes this requires voting against legislation that embodies policies I agree with, other times it requires taking a stand when doing so may not be popular.
The Constitution itself is not a document of convenience. It specifies an onerous process – bicameralism and presentment – with which the government must comply to enact legislation. And it imposes separation of government powers and a system of checks and balances between the different branches.
Among those checks and balances is the requirement that the President’s nominations of federal judges and executive officers receive the Advice and Consent of the Senate before they take office, unless they are nominated during a Senate recess.
Events of the last few weeks show just how inconvenient the Constitution can be for politicians who want to get their way at any cost. On January 4, 2012, President Obama attempted to bypass the Senate and unilaterally “recess appoint” those nominees even though the Senate was not in fact in recess.
These are brazen actions with real consequences. As a duly sworn United States Senator I feel duty bound to resist these actions, regardless of the difficulty.
In taking a stand against the President’s unconstitutional assertion of executive power, I have already been targeted by the President himself. In his weekly radio address, the President singled me out, suggesting that I am playing politics with the judicial nominations process.
[snip]
It seems as if the President’s response to the inconvenient Constitution is simply to interpret away its restrictions if he doesn’t like them.
I and members of Congress of both parties who care about the Constitution must take a stand. If, as a political branch, the legislature does not protect the Senate’s constitutional right to advise and consent to nominees, it may lose it forever. Doing so would have far-reaching implications for Democrats as well as Republicans.
I call on all Americans – Republicans, Democrats, Independents – to stand with me in defense of this blatant and egregious encroachment on our basic constitutional liberties.

Mitt Romney has come under fire this morning — less than 24 hours after winning the Florida primary — for telling CNN’s Soledad O’Brien that he isn’t concerned “about the very poor”because “we have a safety net there.”
When pressed on this statement by O’Brien, the presidential candidate reiterated his commitment to fixing any holes in that safety net, but also took the time to repeat the phrase “I’m not concerned about the very poor,” which was undoubtedly a very poor choice of words from the man who would become one of the richest presidents in US history.

A former elementary school teacher in Los Angeles has been arrested for allegedly molesting nearly two dozen children after photos of students posed in bondage positions were passed to the Sheriff’s Department.
Mark Berndt, 61, a teacher with over 30 years experience at Miramonte Elementary School in south Los Angeles, is charged with molesting 23 children, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Police began the investigation after a photo processing facility passed along suspicious images depicting students blindfolded with their mouths covered in tape. Female students were depicted with a blue plastic spoon containing “an unknown clear/white liquid” in front of their mouths, while other students were pictured with live cockroaches on their faces. In some photos, Berndt had his arm around the children or his hand over their mouths.
Police found the spoon, along with an empty container in the trash in Berndt’s classroom and, through DNA testing, determined that both contained Berndt’s semen.

A special permit has been renewed for the statue of Jesus Christ atop Big Mountain.
Flathead National Forest Supervisor Chip Weber announced Tuesday that he is reauthorizing a special use permit for The Knights of Columbus Council No. 1328 of Kalispell for the display of a statue on a small parcel of federal land within the Whitefish Mountain Resort permit boundary at Big Mountain.
The permit is reauthorized for 10 years.
“I understand the statue has been a long-standing object in the community since 1955, and I recognize that the statue is important to the community for its historical heritage based on its association with the early development of the ski area on Big Mountain,” Weber said.
Last August, Weber denied the permit renewal for the statue. That denial was based on legal advice that the statue violated of the Constitution’s Establishment clause and legal precedent regarding religious symbols on public lands.
However, public outcry prompted the Forest Service to reconsider the issue.
An ensuing public comment period attracted 95,000 responses.
Once the new permit is returned to the Flathead National Forest by the Knights of Columbus with signature and payment, it will be signed by Weber and remains in effect for the next 10 years.
A Wisconsin-based group, the Freedom from Religion Foundation, plans to file a lawsuit this week challenging the permit renewal.

And why the crap is the price of gasoline going UP???? Yesterday, gas was $3.15 per gallon (for some reason, both the ethanol blend and the regular unleaded, strange I think) and today? Went up 12 cents a gallon! To $3.27 a gallon. This is in Des Moines. This morning when we went down to Missouri, gas here in our town was still set at $3.15 and when we came back from Missouri, gas in Osceola was still at $3.15 a gallon. Have not gone up the road to see if the gas here has now jumped to $3.27. And the were saying that the price of gasoline could go to $4.95 at least (at least? so it may go up even more) by Memorial Day. Geesh. I think this fits it with those who said last year and continue to say now that the price of gasoline would go up quite a bit prior to the presidential election and then just before, the price would drop like a rock so Obama could then say he got the prices back down and get re-elected. And blame the whole mess on the Republicans! Will see for sure…

And this is how Obama is creating jobs in the US?
This took place on the same day Obama told Americans in the SOTU that car makers needed to stop shipping jobs overseas.
Tuesday, the 24th of January, Joel Ewanick, CMO of General Motors awarded the more than $3 billion dollar GM media account to Aegis/Carat. Strangely enough, Carat is the French division of its parent company, Aegis, which is a UK based operation currently trading on the London Stock Exchange.
Mr. Ewanick insisted that it wasn’t only money, but better quality that drove him to place the $3 billion piece of business with a non US company. Or, as he so succinctly put it… “It was definitely about finding efficiencies, while at the same time wanting to raise the quality of the service provided.”
Apart from the fact that if it wasn’t for the billions of US tax payer dollars pumped into the floundering GM operation, Mr. Ewanick would currently be another of Detroit’s unfortunate unemployed, did he ever pause to consider that we (the US taxpayers) still own 28% of the company and might be somewhat pissed off about the fact that all this stuff was going overseas?
Yes, various people have pointed out to me that the $3 BILLION is the media spend, and the income to Aegis/Carat will be perhaps, a meager 3%… Which, sadly for the unfortunate Aegis management guys currently celebrating their win by wining and dining on Chateaux Laffite 83, and Beluga Caviar at Claridges, just happens to work out at a measly $90 million. And yes, they will assuredly employ people in their American offices to co-ordinate with the client and make the domestic bookings. But you just know a great deal of the grunt work will be off-shored to somewhere you can get call-center help for peanuts. Heck, why should they be any different from your friendly local neighborhood bank?
However, at the end of the day, it isn’t about the money, it’s about the brass balls of GM to think that the American taxpayer doesn’t mind having a sharp stick shoved in their eye when it comes to how their tax dollars are being spent.

Walker Recall Petitions NOT Available for Online Review
MacIver News Service
[Madison, Wisc…] The Wisconsin Government Accountability Board has not posted scanned copies of the Governor Walker recall petitions online despite promises to the citizens of Wisconsin that they would do so.
GAB staff delivered copies of the scans to the Governor’s campaign late last week. The campaign, with the assistance of the Republican Party of Wisconsin, began reviewing the petitions at satellite offices across the state this weekend.
Once they scanned documents, they were going to make them public, having issued an alert to all media earlier in the day. The revelation was the top of many radio broadcasts Monday.
Such a public disclosure would have allowed the volunteers at the independent VerifytheRecall.com to also begin their effort.
But early this evening the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported GAB staff was going back on their promise, citing alleged privacy concerns by some who signed the public documents.
This is the latest development in a series of back and forth decisions by the GAB that promises more legal challenges ahead.
And it could thwart a massive effort by Tea Party groups to conduct an independent review of the petitions.
“Never before have regular citizens organized in this way to this scale in a nonpartisan sense to uphold the integrity of Wisconsin’s elections,” said Ross Brown, Founder and President of the Tea Party Group, We the People of the Republic and co-organizer of the Verify The Recall effort before the GAB’s surprise announcement was made. “Our volunteers are anxious to start and committed to the effort.”
Brown said approximately 87 percent of the more than 11,000 volunteers who signed up at his website are from Wisconsin, although they do have volunteers from all but one of the 50 states.
“Verify the Recall has written a new play in the citizens’ playbook as to how we can preserve our clean and honest elections,” Brown said.
With Monday night’s revelation that the GAB was refusing to comply with their earlier public pronouncements, the Verify the Recall process could be in jeopardy.

Even scarier is we have a loon president crazy enough to go along with this.
(AFP) — The world can no longer afford to ignore the environmental cost of economic growth and must redefine the very concept of national wealth, a UN panel of heads of state and environment ministers said Monday.
The panel challenged leaders to recognise that “current global development is unsustainable.”
“We need to chart a new, more sustainable course for the future, one that strengthens equality and economic growth while protecting our planet,” UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said in Addis Ababa to mark the release of the panel’s report, which outlines more than 50 policy recommendations.
By 2030, the report warned, the planet will need at least 50 percent more food, 45 percent more energy and 30 percent more water.
These needs are emerging “at a time when environmental boundaries are throwing up new limits to supply,” it said.
Continuing along the same path as today risks “irreversible damage to both ecosystems and human communities.”
This is an OLD article, but still truthful and useful today. I bring it up because most people assume coyotes are like a southwest thing, like Texas, New Mexico, etal. Hah! Come to my spot of Iowa and you can actually see coyotes moving through our town. Hear them at night. So coyotes are everywhere. Even in New York City! Have not heard of them in Boston, but maybe in the wilds of Massachusetts one can find coyotes.
Scientists say these adaptable animals could be becoming more aggressive and less fearful of humans—to the detriment of both species.Wildlife specialist Robert Timm, of the University of California’s Hopland Research and Extension Center, has documented some 160 coyote attacks and dangerous incidents over the past 30 years in California alone.
“There is an increasing problem with coyotes losing their fear of humans and becoming aggressive,” Timm said.
“We’ve seen any number of instances where they came into a fenced yard and killed a small dog or cat,” he added. “And we’ve documented pets taken from a child’s arms or off a leash when being walked.”
Working with Rex Baker of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and United States Department of Agriculture Wildlife Services staff, Timm has developed a coyote-attack computer database.
The researchers are using the tool to search for patterns of precursor behavior—actions that might signal when coyotes are starting to become aggressive toward humans.
The scientists are also searching for possible solutions to what they see as a growing dilemma. In many U.S. states booming human populations and development have led to more people moving into and living in traditional coyote country.
Wolf Relative
Coyotes are smaller, more solitary relatives of wolves. Coyotes once lived exclusively in the U.S. western Plains states. Today the adaptable animals populate every U.S. state except Hawaii and range from Alaska to Central America.
The problem of human-coyote encounters does not lie with those animals that live in their traditional wilderness habitats. Rather the problem rests with those wily animals that have adapted to life in suburban and even urban environments.
Suburban patchworks of cover, such as small wooded areas and brush, combine with open areas to provide coyotes with good hunting grounds. And in some major metropolitan areas, like suburban Los Angeles, coyotes have become a problem.
California Department of Fish and Game spokesperson Lorna Bernard notes that much of the Golden State is prime habitat for the opportunistic animals.
“They are scavengers as well as hunters, and they are very smart,” she said. “When they learn that people aren’t a danger to them, they become very brazen.”
“We’ve had quite a few attacks,” she continued, “but people don’t typically get seriously hurt.”
In California there has only been one documented human death attributed a coyote attack. The incident occurred about two decades ago, when a coyote killed a young girl in Glendale.
Timm and Baker list some 35 other coyote attacks over the past three decades on small children that could have been fatal, had an adult not intervened.
Eastern Coyotes Flex Muscle
Close human-coyote encounters are not restricted to California. In New York State, wildlife biologist Gordon Batcheller studies coyotes from his post at the state’s Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC).
He said coyotes are “becoming habituated to humans and human environments, and adapting their behavior to ours.”
From the coyotes’ perspective, this human environment “is a ‘subsidized environment,’ meaning it provides an artificially high amount of foods with an unnatural absence of threats,” Batcheller said. “These adaptable animals take quick advantage of these unnatural environments.”
At Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, wildlife biologist Paul Curtis and his team are beginning a five-year study of coyote ecology and behavior, funded in part by the state’s DEC.
“The goal of the project is to look at changes in both coyote and human behavior that may be leading to more conflicts and complaints,” Curtis said.
New York DEC officials estimate that 20,000 to 30,000 coyotes live in the state.
Curtis describes a progression of behavior in so-called problem coyote areas. First, the generally reclusive animals are increasingly spotted in daylight hours. Next, pets begin to vanish from yards and are even snatched off leashes by coyotes.
“That’s the last stage before a human attack,” Curtis said. “And we’re at that stage in New York now.” New York wildlife officials hope to head off such conflicts before a serious attack or death occurs.
Most coyotes, even those living near humans, are seldom seen and are reclusive. But dealing with human-adjusted animals is a management challenge.
“It appears to be a learned behavior,” Curtis noted. “Certain animals seem more adapted to an urban environment. They catch a few cats and say, Hey there is abundant food here.”
Animal control officers are experimenting with ways to reintroduce fear of humans in coyotes that have lost it. Many states have open season on coyote hunting. But the practice is controversial and often impractical in suburban and urban areas, where most problems occur.
Other non-lethal methods, including rubber buckshot and fencing, have met with mixed results.
“If they persist in aggressive behavior, the ultimate solution would probably be to remove problem animals,” Curtis said. “Nobody is happy about that.”
Human Causes?
Meanwhile, Timm’s data suggest that certain areas seem more predisposed to coyote-human conflicts.
“The data on pet losses in recent years is not very different in the states of Texas and California,” the University of California wildlife specialist said. “Yet there have been few, if any, human attacks [by coyotes] in Texas.”
No one is certain what might account for the discrepancy.
“We’re speculating at this point, but something is different about southern California, and in many cases we think that intentional feeding in neighborhoods is a factor,” Timm said. “It’s probably more typical than we know.”
“People in Texas don’t have a kind of Disney attitude about animals,” he added. “There may be more of that rancher mentality, where everybody recognizes that we don’t want [coyotes] in the neighborhood.”
Scientists stress that respect for animals, especially predators such as coyotes, means keeping them wild.
“Don’t feed them, either purposely or inadvertently, and stay away from animals that show no natural fear,” Batcheller, the New York wildlife biologist, cautioned. “Like other wildlife, coyotes should be enjoyed and appreciated, but from a distance. It does this species no good to encourage abnormal behaviors.”
As Curtis, the Cornell wildlife biologist, noted, “Hearing [coyotes] howling in the woods at night is a wonderful thing. And that’s where we want to keep them—in the woods, away from people.”

Now for a laugh or two or three…….
I was devastated to find out my wife was having an affair but, by turning to religion, I was soon able to come to terms with the whole thing. I converted to Islam, and we’re stoning her in the morning!
Went to the pub with my girlfriend last night. Locals were shouting “pedophile!” and other names at me, just because my girlfriend is 21 and I’m 50. It completely spoiled our 10th anniversary.
My son was thrown out of school today for letting a girl in his class give him a hand-job. I said “Son, that’s 3 schools this year! You’d better stop before you’re banned from teaching altogether.”
Just been to the gym. They’ve got a new machine in. Could only use it for half an hour, as I started to feel sick. It’s great though. It provides me with everything I need – KitKats, Mars Bars, Snickers, Potato Crisps, the lot.”
The cost of living has now gotten so bad that my wife is having sex with me because she can’t afford batteries..
I’ve heard that Apple has scrapped their plans for the new children’s-oriented iPod after realizing that “iTouch Kids” is not a good product name.
There’s a new Muslim clothing shop that opened in our shopping center, but they threw me out after I asked if I could look at some of the bomber jackets.
The Red Cross just knocked on my door and asked if we could contribute towards the floods in Pakistan. I said we’d love to, but our garden hose only reaches to the driveway.
So last week, the democrats backing Obama (wonder how many are NOT backing him?) started attacking Mitt Romney for the Swiss bank account he had until recently. Guess they do not like republicans to have swiss bank accounts? So now here is the hyprocrisy of Obamatard and his regime.
Disgraced former MF Global CEO Jon Corzine also appears near the top of the list, raising more than $500K.
Via BuzzFeed:
The list of the Obama campaign’s bundlers — or, they’re trying to rebrand them, “volunteer fundraisers,” contains the usual mix of celebrities and financiers, personal friends and professional operatives.
It also includes one bundler based in Geneva, Switzerland, Charles Adams, who heads the office of the law firm Akin Gump in the swiss capital. Adams raised more than $100,000 for Obama, according to the report.
When he and several colleagues joined the firm in 2010, Akin Gump touted the group’s expertise in “tax optimization for multinational corporates and high-net-worth individuals.”
Adams, who is a specialist in international arbitration, not tax law, is quoted saying: “We look forward to bringing our capabilities and standards to bear in international arbitration, international tax planning, and Swiss corporate and commercial law to benefit the firm’s world-class client base.”
Obama’s bundlers have another Swiss banking connection: Robert Wolf, who heads the U.S. office of the Zurich- and Basel-based UBS, raised between $50,000 and $100,000.
Obama’s likely rival, Mitt Romney, has come under fire from Obama aide David Axelrod and others for keeping his money in a Swiss bank.

Okay, here it is from the most liberal of liberal states. Land of the far out people, the liberals who back Obama.
California will run out of cash by early March if the state does not take swift action to find $3.3 billion through payment delays and borrowing, according to a letter state Controller John Chiang sent to state lawmakers today.
The announcement is surprising since lawmakers previously believed the state had enough cash to last through the fiscal year that ends in June.
But Chiang said additional cash management solutions are needed because state tax revenues are $2.6 billion less than what Gov. Jerry Brown and state lawmakers assumed in their optimistic budget last year. Meanwhile, Chiang said, the state is spending $2.6 billion more than state leaders planned on.

Last week, I noted that Obama turned his back not just on Arizona’s Governor Jan Brewer, but also on the laws of the State of Georgia. I closed my column, “Georgia Ballot Challenge: Obama Walks on By,” with the observation: “And most of the media has followed along right behind him.”
At the time, I had just witnessed an historic hearing that actually discussed the eligibility of the sitting president of the United States to run for a second term. The president had been subpoenaed to appear, and instead of his attorney respectfully following protocol to have that subpoena recalled, both Obama and his attorney, Michael Jablonski, simply failed to show up at all or offer any defense whatsoever.
Isn’t there a headline in there somewhere?
The hearing proceeded as planned, even though the table for the defense was empty. [snip]
When the hearing ended, the media in attendance almost literally pounced on Taitz … After the reporters finished letting Taitz feel the full extent of their contempt for both her and the entire morning’s event, they packed up to leave.
I walked up to one particular reporter from one of the prominent mainstream entities, noting that he seemed frustrated that he didn’t get a clear answer from Taitz to one of his questions, and I informed him that I did know the exact answer, if he’d like to hear more about it. He said no, he didn’t. I asked then, wasn’t he a reporter, and why did he ask the question if he didn’t want the answer? And as I was speaking, he turned and walked away from me.
The same thing happened with another reporter from another major network. He had asked Taitz why no one cared that there were past presidents who had fathers not born in the country. I explained to him that it was not the place of birth of the presidents’ fathers that was the issue, but rather the status of their citizenship at the time of their sons’ births. The reporter scoffed and told me that that was just my opinion, but when I attempted to inform him that it was also the opinion of the Supreme Court, he turned and walked away from me while I was in mid-sentence.
Does this behavior seem familiar? [snip]
As Sunny of Sunny TV points out in this hilarious but uncomfortably true video*, “Tyranny is as Tyranny Does”; “[l]et’s just hope the next President is just as benevolent as Obama because they could really use that power for bad.” At the end of the clip, as Sunny pretends she is Obama, issuing orders right and left, she points to her crown and says: “This makes me in charge.” As Teri O’Brien noted in her interview discussing Obama’s penchant for walking away from those with whom he disagrees, “[g]ods don’t debate. They issue decrees.”
Attorney Irion, in this follow-up letter from his Liberty Legal Foundation, pointed out: “Yesterday President Obama completely ignored a court subpoena, and the world shrugged.”

And yet he, along with the rest of the left, ignores the very real violence from Occupy Wall Street.
WASHINGTON — Comparisons of the Tea Party movement to Occupy Wall Street have become a political parlor game over the past six months, but MSNBC host Chris Matthews believes there really is no contest.
Matthews told WMAL’s Morning Majority on Tuesday that the behavior of conservatives at Congressional Health Care Townhall meetings in the summer of 2009 — during the early days of the Tea Party movement — reached a level of hatred unmatched in recent times.
“I saw those people spitting on Congressmen, I saw them yelling at them. I saw a lot of anger in the room,” recalled Matthews, who says he believes the harsh rhetoric of those meetings reflected an actual personal hatred of President Obama.
“Actually, ad hominem, they hated the guy. Why do you think we have a Secret Service?”, he asked. “If you don’t think there was an honest fear of violence in that very hot period of around 2010, it was real,” he insisted. “I think there was a real fear on the part of security people that it might get out of hand,” he added.
As far as Matthews is concerned, the rancor has continued through the Obama presidency.
“There is a real level of national hatred of the president that I hadn’t seen before, certainly not under Clinton, or under Dubya,” he said. “The hatred, the Hitler mustaches, all that stuff. I haven’t seen that before,” he insisted.

Her remarks come after the Obama administration announced that it will begin reducing the number of National Guard troops on the U.S.-Mexico border.

(ABC News) — A man from Uzbekistan that the United States and the United Nations helped relocate to Colorado now faces a terrorism charge.
Jamshid Muhtorov opposed his home country’s dictator following a 2005 massacre, endured a brutal detention, and saw his sister arrested on a false murder charge. The 35-year-old fled his country by night dressed as a woman, and the U.S. and the U.N. helped bring him to Aurora in 2007.
Now, he’s accused of providing material support and attempting to provide material support to the Islamic Jihad Union. The violent group opposes the Uzbek government and has been designated a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department.
Federal authorities say the Islamic Jihad Union has claimed responsibility for attacks on coalition forces in Afghanistan, including a March 2008 suicide attack on a U.S. base. The group is also blamed for carrying out simultaneous suicide bombings of the U.S. and Israeli embassies and a prosecutor’s office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
“It is a crime, and has been a crime for many years, to provide material support for a designated terrorist organization, the IJU,” said Dean Boyd, spokesman for the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington. “Our job is to enforce the law.”
The FBI said Muhtorov communicated with a contact with the IJU by email using code words, asking to be invited to the “wedding.” He also told the contact that he was “ready for any task, even with the risk of dying,” the FBI said.
(why our country should not let any freaking ass raghead from any country into our borders! if muslim or muslim loving asshole, sorry but you can not come into the USA for any reason. brand new law by our new patriotic president and congress.)

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A haz-mat crew with the Charlotte Fire Department was called to 600 East Trade Street, the site of the Occupy Charlotte movement, on Tuesday morning.
City workers who had been cleaning the area noticed toilet paper on top of a storm water grate that drains into a nearby creek. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police and city officials believe some protesters have been using the drain as a toilet.
“We’re looking at the environmental impact on the stream down there with the wildlife, and things like that,” said Deputy Fire Chief Jeff Dulin.
“Plus the water goes downstream for other people to drink further down. But again, we’re just trying to cover all our bases, and make sure that if there is any type of environment impact, that we’re able to identify that and then correct that and make sure there is no further environmental impact downstream,” he added.
About four protesters watched as haz-mat crews scooped debris into five containers for testing. Eric Dow, who has been on the site since October 2011, says he never saw anyone using the drain as a toilet. He says new protesters are told where the closest public restrooms are.
(see, this shitting occupiers, regardless of where the are occupying and regardless of who they are, think they can just shit and piss anywhere they please. arrest them all, deport them all, to north korea or yemen)

WASHINGTON – House Republicans are expanding their probe into the Obama administration’s energy programs, investigating $500 million in green job training grants that placed just 10% of trainees in jobs, according to a government report.
The program’s goal was to train 124,893 people and put 79,854 in jobs. But 17 months later, 52,762 were trained and 8,035, or roughly 1 in 10, had jobs. Those numbers come from an audit by the Department of Labor’s inspector general, which recommended that the administration end the program and return unspent money.
President Obama has made green jobs a cornerstone of his economic agenda. In his first 2012 campaign ad this month, he said clean energy industries created 2.7 million jobs and were “expanding rapidly.” But Republicans have pounced on failures, such as the bankruptcy of Solyndra, a solar panel maker backed with a Department of Energy loan guarantee.
Citing what he calls “abysmal results” in the job training program, House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., is demanding answers about how the Department of Labor awarded the grants, which were funded out of the 2009 stimulus bill.
