Romney Wins in New Hampshire

No great news this. But the voters are not asking Romney the right questions. Like what does he stand for? What will he actually do as president? I mean from day one this guy has been running on his past record, not his current doings or what he really wants to do. Instead he and those big money guys have been doing nothing but going after the other republican candidates. Tearing them down, and making him look good.

With many thousands of votes still left to count, every major news organization has already called the 2012 New Hampshire primary for former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.

“Tonight, we made history,” Romney told supporters at his victory party. He is the first non-incumbent Republican presidential candidate to win both Iowa and New Hampshire.

Though historic, tonight’s result was far from surprising, considering the New York Times’ Nate Silver put Romney’s chance of winning at 99%. The real race now is for second place, with either Ron Paul or Jon Huntsman expected to lead the losers.

NBC was the first network to project a second place winner, giving the spot to Paul. ABC News, CNN and Fox News followed suit. Newt Gingrich and Santorum are currently duking it out for fourth place with about 10% each. Texas Gov. Rick Perry is a distant last with 1% at the time of writing.

Despite the disappointing finish, Huntsman, who spent months aggressively canvassing the Granite State, told CNN he was moving on to South Carolina. “Where we stand right now is a solid, comfortable position,” the former Utah governor said. “We go south from here.”

(bottom line though is this for me, I will probably still vote republican. even if it is Romney. dammit)\

This is no news. Our courts under direction of the muslims running our country would not vote any other way.

(CNN) — A federal appeals court has blocked an Oklahoma voter-approved measure barring state judges from considering Islamic and international law in their decisions.

The three-judge panel at the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld an earlier injunction preventing State Question 755 from being certified until the free speech questions are resolved. The decision Tuesday allows a lawsuit brought by Islamic-American groups to move ahead to a bench trial.

“The proposed amendment discriminates among religions,” said the judges. “The Oklahoma amendment specifically names the target of its discrimination. The only religious law mentioned in the amendment is Sharia law.”

A federal judge last summer had issued a temporary restraining order in favor of the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which had sued to nullify the law completely.

The amendment would require Oklahoma courts to “rely on federal and state law when deciding cases” and “forbids courts from considering or using” either international law or Islamic religious law, known as Sharia, which the amendment defined as being based on the Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed.

In bringing suit, CAIR argued that the amendment violates the establishment and free-exercise clauses of the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious freedom. The group’s local leader, Muneer Awad, has said the amendment passed in November 2010 under a campaign of fear and misinformation about Islam.

President Obama’s surrogates, not giving up hope that the themes of the “occupy movement” will help his reelection and push Congress to back Democratic jobs ideas, are looking to the birthday and federally-sanctioned holiday of what Obama activist Van Jones calls the “original Occupier,” Martin Luther King Jr., to spark action on the streets of America.

Jones, part of a group called “Rebuild the Dream,” — which sees itself as a liberal version of the Tea Party movement- said the gatherings will kick off what he sees as a “turbulent, exciting” year, led by civil rights leaders pushing a new agenda of social justice.

“What are you doing this weekend for MLK Day? It’s our only national holiday about social justice, yet too often, MLK Day feels like a Hallmark Card. This year, let’s do it differently,” he tells backers in an e-mail. “Rebuild the Dream members are hosting MLK Day Movement Meet-ups across the country to celebrate Dr. King — the original Occupier — and link the Civil Rights Movement with today’s struggle for an economy that works for all.”

But damn, King Obama and Princess Pelosi still love this people! Or as the princess said “God bless them”.

Even though the #Occupy movement has been kicked out of parks across the nation, apparently the sexual assaults continue. An online petition and other discussions reveal accusations of people within the #Occupy movement allegedly ignoring and abusing rape victims and contains shocking details about how assailants continue to be let back into Occupy, a trend that Brandon Darby and I discovered during an interview at Zuccotti Park in early November.
