The grotesque foreign policy of the Obama administration has now achieved its pinnacle of battiness. After three and a half years of bowing low to Dark Ages tyrants and shafting our democratic friends, with Iranian nukes well on the way — so close that even the CIA is willing to see the obvious — the Deep Thinkers of Foggy Bottom are now worried sick that Israel might attack Iran.
Let’s see. Israel has 7 million people who yearn for peace, because their lives are reasonably good, other than having to live with blood-thirsty maniacs surrounding the country with an estimated 100,000 missiles of various sizes. Iran has 70 million people who have been brainwashed by the ugly regime of medieval throwbacks to chant Death to America! Death to Israel! every single day. These nice people will soon have nukes, thanks to the suicidal policies of Democrats from Jimmy to Barry. Got it so far?
OK. Seven against seventy million is fair odds by Middle East standards.

So let’s look at the lineup.
In favor of Iranian nukes: The torture regime in Tehran.
Scared of Iranian nukes: All the Sunni Arab nations, including Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, Egypt, Jordan, etc.
Israel, which hears blood-thirsty filth from Tehran every single day, and which has learned to shrug its collective shoulders about the bad language. And prepare their own defenses.
Europe, with its 300 million technologically advanced people.
Russia, which is right next door.
America — if we had a grain of sense, and Jimmy Carter wasn’t going around spreading disinformation to sucker the liberals.
That would pit the minority of Iranian tyrants against most of the civilized world, such as it is.
What’s the Obama solution?
a. Don’t do anything to annoy the Iranians. [snip]
b. Offer the thugocracy all the goodies in the world if they would only stop. [snip]
c. Blame Israel for stirring up trouble any time you can. [snip]
d. Split the Jewish vote using Stalinesque front groups like “J Street” to echo the worst kind of anti-Israel propaganda.
e. Do likewise with Christian supporters of Israel, and a lot of people who just favor real democracies rather than the phony kind that were supposed to emerge from the Arab Spring — which has killed tens of thousands of people.
f. Above all, take no action against the bloody minded thugs who wield the whip over Iran, because they might get upset.
Obama’s weakness, fecklessness, and amateurism is therefore giving big incentives to all of our former allies to get nukes of their own, ’cause they can’t trust Uncle Sam to protect them. The Saudis have said so out loud, and the Taiwanese are thinking it so hard you can hear the vibes. [snip]
The only thing that worries the mad hats in DC is whether Israel will try to stop Iranian nukes. To stop that from happening, Leon Panetta just publicly exposed what he believes to be Israel’s intention to knock out Iranian nuke factories before they can bury them in their mountains. If Israel does attack, Panetta’s blabbermouth will kill people who would not have died otherwise. But this Administration leaks from the top, so you can bet the Iranians will get plenty of secret information before they hear the bombs dropping.

Nine years after the terrorist attacks of 2001, the United States is assembling a vast domestic intelligence apparatus to collect information about Americans, using the FBI, local police, state homeland security offices and military criminal investigators.
The system, by far the largest and most technologically sophisticated in the nation’s history, collects, stores and analyzes information about thousands of U.S. citizens and residents, many of whom have not been accused of any wrongdoing.
The government’s goal is to have every state and local law enforcement agency in the country feed information to Washington to buttress the work of the FBI, which is in charge of terrorism investigations in the United States.

“Spread of soda tax fizzles,” read a headline last week on authoritative state politics website Stateline. We shouldn’t pop the champagne cork just yet, though. Anti-sugar activists are still gunning for soft drinks.
Apparently, sugary beverages like soda, juice, and sports drinks are so nefarious that they warrant a two-day conference this summer. In June, the food-police Center for Science in the Public (or, really, their own fringe) Interest is rallying the troops in Washington, D.C. for another push to put the government in a wide swath of beverages. This follows on CSPI’s recent lead balloon of last fall’s “Food Day,” which generated noise but little else — similar to the prospects of this conference. [...]
But perhaps the most nauseating session will examine the “impact of sugary drinks in communities of color.” We can already guess what the conclusion will be: Soft drinks disproportionately “harm” urban minorities.
(what, now they will call soft drinks an attack on minorities by racist companies? or if a white person drinks a coke he is a racist?)

Now the president is going to have his kids shill for him!
(WaPo) — A new Internet ad by the president’s reelection campaign features a portrait of the first family asking supporters to “help the Obamas stand up for working Americans.” The appeal, a departure from the typical Obama messaging, provides an early glimpse of the role the president’s wife and daughters are likely to play in his campaign.
In the months to come, political strategists expect to see the first family used as a political asset.
“The value of the family is enormous,” said Democratic pollster Celinda Lake. “The more you know this family and the more you think of Barack Obama in these terms, the harder it is to vilify him.”
During his presidency, Obama’s children have rarely been featured in such an overtly political way. He has been pointed about leaving family members, especially his children, out of politics. But with the first lady enjoying high popularity, his family may become an important factor this year.
Seventy-three percent of Americans hold favorable views of Michelle Obama, according to a recent Washington Post-Kaiser Family Foundation poll. There is no polling on his daughters, but by some indications interest in Malia, 13, and Sasha, 10, is also high. A portrait of the family published by the campaign last year went viral, according to a study by Socialbakers, which analyzes social media trends.
Michelle Obama has said she is “all in” for her husband’s reelection and plans to campaign about three days a week once the general election starts. She recently indicated that her daughters are up to the rigors of the campaign too, telling reporters who traveled with her last week that Malia and Sasha enjoy campaigning.

(WNYC) — Occupy Wall Street protesters gathered in Harlem Monday to protest what they call mass incarceration of minority men by a racist prison system.
Demonstrators dubbed criminal justice policies in the U.S. as the “new Jim Crow,” pointing to a prison population made up mostly of blacks and Latinos.
Much like the messages heard in the broader Occupy Wall Street movement, the chants outside Lincoln Correctional Facility on West 110th Street called for wide-ranging, all-encompassing change to the criminal justice system.
The crowd rallied against not only the racial disparities in the prison population, but also against immigrant detention, the use of solitary confinement in detention facilities, the NYPD’s high rate of marijuana arrests and stop-and-frisks, and the mass unemployment and disruption to families caused by imprisonment.
Prison abolitionists demanded eradication of the entire prison system, while others, like Sammy Crea, called for better rehabilitation programs for inmates.
“While incarcerated, I really had no education, coming into the prison system as a kid,” said Crea. “Because my education is limited, my jobs are limited.”
Crea, who called the prison system “modern day slavery,” said he was first arrested for selling drugs as a teenager and spent the next 16 years going in and out of the system until his last release when he was 32.

I went to the gym this morning. Left before wife and her sister went up to Des Moines. Tell you, I hit the damn bike too hard! My legs, when I finally got off, were yelling at me! Could not even get on the treadmill or the stride machine. So just got into massage chair and stayed for some time, hitting all the possible ways it could massage my back. Even now, legs are still murmuring about the workout they got. Hahahahahaha….But odd that all that bicycling I did, only showed burning 165 calories. Geesh. Take me forever to drop a pound at that rate. I still enjoyed myself and know I have to keep this up every day until I get it right.

The head of Media Matters, who is raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars for the president, and is anti-gun, goes on the streets with a bodyguard carrying a Glock.
Sheer hypocrisy!
The recent revelation that the head of Media Matters walked the streets of Washington with a Glock-toting personal assistant acting as a bodyguard may make it a little awkward for the group the next time it seeks a donation from a gun control advocacy group.
Media Matters reportedly took more than $400,000 from the Joyce Foundation specifically earmarked to promote a $600,000 initiative on “gun and public safety issues.” At the same time, Media Matters’ gun-guarded boss David Brock reportedly obsessed over his own security.
“It doesn’t look good,” said Fraser Seitel, president of Emerald Partners Communications and a public relations expert who authored the book “Rethinking Reputation.”
“But it is a gray area in terms of public relations. Since (Media Matters) is so anti-NRA, to have their members packing heat leaves them open to criticism,” he said.
Brock reportedly told confidantes that he feared for his safety and needed hired guns to keep him safe. The District’s gun laws are among the strictest in the nation, which raises the question of whether Brock’s assistant at times was in violation of its ban on carrying a concealed weapon.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner today admitted under questioning from Sen. Sessions that the president’s own budget is “unsustainable.” Sec. Geithner made a similar admission last year, when he said that “with the president’s plan, even if Congress were to enact it and even if Congress were to hold it and reduce those deficits to three percent of GDP over the next five years, we would still be left with a very large interest burden and unsustainable obligations over time.”
Testifying before the House Budget Committee today, U.S. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner told Chairman Paul Ryan the following:
“We’re not coming before you to say we have a definitive solution to that long-term problem. What we do know is we don’t like yours.” [snip]

The tea party isn’t dead. It’s just looking down ballot. While fiscal conservatives remain split over the GOP presidential candidates, grassroots activists are coalescing around a stellar slate of limited-government candidates looking to reinforce and reenergize the right in Washington.
And in the spirit of the modern-day tea party movement, no entrenched incumbent — Democrat or Republican — is safe.
Utah was Ground Zero for the movement’s first major electoral upset. In April 2009, this column first reported on a Salt Lake City tea party protest of 2,000 Utahans who repeatedly booed GOP Sens. Bob Bennett and Orrin Hatch for supporting the $700 billion TARP bank bailout. In May 2010, the three-term, 76-year-old Bennett got the boot at the GOP state convention. Young conservative lawyer Mike Lee, who clerked for Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, went on to win the seat.
Now, young conservative entrepreneur and renowned state pension reformer Dan Liljenquist is taking on Utah’s other big government Republican barnacle, 77-year-old Hatch. Liljenquist excelled in the private sector as a global management consultant and business strategist; he also helmed a privately owned call center company that grew from two to 1,500 employees since its 1995 founding. Liljenquist was elected to the Utah Senate in 2008, where he spearheaded state pension and Medicaid reforms that earned him the non-partisan Governing magazine’s 2011 “Public Official of the Year” award.
The 36-year, six-term Hatch was first elected in 1976 on an anti-entrenched incumbent platform. Hatch’s campaign line then against his opponent Frank Moss: “What do you call a Senator who’s served in office for 18 years? You call him home.” Now, Hatch is clinging to power after almost four decades in government — and vainly attempting to claim the tea party mantle to stave off Liljenquist’s David vs. Goliath primary challenge.
Hatch co-sponsored the $6 billion national service boondoggle and dedicated it to his good friend Teddy Kennedy, with whom he also joined hands to create the ever-expanding SCHIP health care entitlement. Heslobbered over corruptocrat Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd, supported tax cheat Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner from Day One, lavished praise on Joe Biden’s manhood, and embraced and defended Attorney General Eric Holder’s nomination because, he said, “I like Barack Obama, and I want to help him if I can.”
In Indiana, another aging liberal Republican dinosaur is fighting for his political life by masquerading as a tea party standard-bearer. The six-term 79-year-old Sen. Dick Lugar — who prides himself on being Obama’s favorite Republican — hasn’t lived in his home state since 1977. He supported the Obama stimulus law, job-killing environmental mandates and the taxpayer bailouts of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, as well as the auto and banking industry bailouts.

SHARPTON PULLS RACE CARD AS HIS CAR IS TOWED AWAY
The race baiter didn’t even have it insured!!

The Rev. Al Sharpton tried to move heaven and earth yesterday to keep his SUV from being towed at La Guardia Airport — but no amount of preaching could stop Port Authority cops from impounding the vehicle.
An officer rolled up on the 2008 Lincoln Navigator at around 2 p.m. outside the Delta and US Airways terminal as the MSNBC host’s driver waited to pick him up in a clearly marked “no standing” zone, said PA Police spokesman Al Della Fave.
PAPD cop Oscar Ruiz asked the driver for his paperwork and quickly discovered that the SUV had a suspended registration “due to lack of insurance,” the spokesman said.
At that point, Sharpton emerged from the terminal after a flight from Washington, DC, and raised holy hell over the situation.
“He begins yelling, saying the cop was just doing this because of who he was,” a source said.
