House of Representatives Censorship?

Just edited this in, so you can more fully understand those occupy dirtbags:
Study: Occupy Protesters Driven by Self-Interest, Lack of Meaning, Fear and Control

A rather worrisome bit of censoring took place today at the House of Representatives, which had a split-second pro-forma session this morning.

A Democratic effort to force an up-or-down vote on the Senate’s payroll tax cut extension plan was hastily halted by Speaker Pro Tempore Michael Fitzpatrick (R-PA), who swiftly adjourned the House without acknowledging Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer’s repeated cries of “Mr. Speaker.”

Despite being rudely shutdown by Fitzpatrick, Hoyer went on to have his say, excoriating Republicans for allowing the tax cut to expire despite the potential damage to the already struggling economy.

As Hoyer was yielding to another Democrat, Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), ranking member on the House Budget Committee, the mic suddenly cut out, followed shortly by the footage.

C-SPAN later tweeted that it “has no control over the U.S. House TV cameras – the Speaker of the House does,” suggesting that someone in House Speaker John Boehner’s office ordered the live feed off the air.

Less than a year ago, C-SPAN’s asked Boehner for permission to install privately-operated cameras in the House. That request was denied.

(well, from where I sit, looks like some hanky panky by someone….)

An unidentified serviceman from West Michigan, who was wounded in action while serving in Afghanistan, was forced to sell his Purple Heart to a pawn shop in order to make ends meet.

“He was falling on hard times,” said A-Z Outlet owner Bryan VandenBosch. “He said the same thing everybody else who comes in here says. He was short on funds.”

VandenBosch says the active-duty soldier, who was shot in Afghanistan last year, told him the Purple Heart was one of two he has earned so far.

The pawn shop owner told the Holland Sentinel that he has no plans to sell the medal to anyone, except its original owner — if he ever returns. “I won’t ever sell it,” he said. “If he ever decides he wants it, it will be here waiting for him.”

(this is just plain sad! unless there is more to this story than was reported?)

(ABC News) — Presidential candidate Mitt Romney told a Boston talk radio host on Wednesday that he supports the deportation of President Obama’s Kenyan-born uncle who was arrested this fall on drunken driving charges in Massachusetts.

Romney told a Boston talk radio host on Wednesday that he supports the deportation of President Obama’s Kenyan-born uncle who was arrested this fall on drunken driving charges in Massachusetts.

When asked by Boston radio personality Howie Carr whether the president’s relative, Onyango Obama, should be deported, Romney said, “the answer is ‘yes.’”

“Well, if the laws of the United States say he should be deported, and I presume they do, then of course we should follow those laws,” Romney said. “And the answer is ‘yes.’”

When Carr brought up Onyango Obama case, Romney first sought clarification: “Who is Uncle Omar, Howie?” the former Massachusetts governor asked the radio host.

Carr explained that the uncle, nicknamed “Omar,” was recently arrested in Framingham, Mass.

“Now he’s claiming he’s got a Social Security number and drivers’ license and no one knows how he got them,” Carr told Romney, “but they’re apparently legit even though he’s in the country illegally.”

(heck yeah, deport his ass now! And how in the world does someone get a social security number legit when that someone is not legit?)

This is being played out around the country, wherever these occupy dirtbags set up camp! You and I are paying for these assholes! Yet Obama and all the liberals trip over themselves praising these idiots!

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The City of Los Angeles reportedly faces millions of dollars in expenses brought about by the Occupy LA movement.

City agencies have been ordered to calculate what was spent on the Occupy LA protests.

Repairs to City Hall’s lawn where the Occupy group set up camp on Oct. 1 will require an estimated $400,000. The police action to clear out the encampment on Nov. 30 cost more than $700,000.

Additional expenses are attributed to hauling away debris from the camp, and cleaning up graffiti that defaced City Hall marble walls and trees.

Mayor Villaraigosa says more budget cuts will be necessary to offset the costs.

And of course you know how bad this is. Bottom line is this: you, I and everyone else are now royally screwed!

With precisely one year left for the world and all of its inhabitants, at least according to the Mayans, not to mention on the day of the Winter Solstice, it is only fitting that US debt, net of all settlements for all already completed bond auctions, is now at precisely $15,182,756,264,288.80. Why is this relevant? Because the latest annualized US GDP, according to the BEA, was $15,180,900,000.00. Which means that, as of today, total US debt to GDP is 100.012%. Congratulations America: you are now in the triple digit “debt to GDP” club!

I. Total debt as of December 20: $15,131,979,264,288,80 (source)

II. Net cash settlement of all completed auctions: $50,777,000,000 (source)

III. Total GDP: $15,180,900,000,000 (source)

=> Total Debt/GDP= $15,182,756,264,288.80/$15,180,900,000,000 = 100.012%
