Terry Jones Will Reportedly Burn Korans to Protest Iranian Pastor’s Execution

Agree with this nut job or not, he does speak some truth. That it is high time that CHRISTIANS do something! I do believe it really is time for all Christians around the world to band together and fight the islamic horde. Or as an old cowboy once said, the reason there are no muslims in star trek is because finally we played cowboys and muslims.

If Iran Carries Out Execution Order, Jones group, ‘Stand Up America Now’ vows to destroy Korans and images of the Prophet Muhammad…

The organization of controversial pastor Dr. Terry Jones will reportedly burn Korans and images of the prophet Muhammad if Iranian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani is executed for his Christian faith.

Dr. Terry Jones of Stand Up America Now said the planned protest would “obviously get Islam’s attention,” saying Christians “cannot just stand by and do nothing,” according to the Christian Post.

The American Center for Law and Justice announced last week that Iranian courts may have issued an execution order for Nadarkhani, who has been a pastor at a number of house churches in Iran for the past decade and has been imprisoned since October 2009. Nadarkhani a 34-year-old father of two, was originally jailed for protesting, but those charges were later changed to apostasy and attempting to evangelize Muslims.

Terry, meanwhile, and his Florida-based organization protested Islamic Awareness Month at the University of Florida last week.

We have very little that we can do as a Christian community to protest the inhumane activities of Islam,” Jones told The Christian Post.

Supporters fear Nadarkhani may now be executed at any time without prior warning, as death sentences in Iran may be carried out immediately or dragged out for years. It is unclear whether Nadarkhani can appeal the execution order.

“The world needs to stand up and say that a man cannot be put to death because of his faith,” said Jordan Sekulow, executive director of The American Center for Law and Justice. “This one case is not just about one execution. We have been able to expose the system instead of just letting one man disappear, like so many other Christians have in the past.”

It will not be long before our president apologizes for this….

This is in Britain, but probably would, if it has not yet, happen here in the USA.

Over the past year, several states – including WisconsinTennessee and Idaho – have passed legislation freeing teachers from the shackles of compulsory union membership.

Now that membership has become voluntary, a growing number of teachers are choosing to quit the union, which is causing hard times for the nation’s largest teachers union.

A new report finds the National Education Association has revised its membership numbers downward – from 3.2 million to just over 3 million.

According to Mike Antonucci of the Education Intelligence Agency website, the hemorrhaging of members is contributing to the NEA’s $17 million deficit, which may force union leaders to lay off employees and cut aid to state affiliates.

“NEA employees have been presented with an ‘exit program,’ which is essentially an early retirement incentive,” Antonucci writes.

OBAMA REGIME WON’T RELEASE APOLOGY TO KARZAI

I wonder why?

Did Obama promise Karzai even more money? Or to be set up in the USA when the taliban take over? What was in this letter?

The White House press secretary told members of the press pool aboard Air Force One today that President Obama’s “sincere” apology to Afghan President Hamid Karzai for a Koran-burning incident “is not appropriate to show” to reporters.

Jay Carney spoke with reporters for about 20 minutes as the presidential entourage flew to Florida for a speech on energy at the University of Miami.

Obama’s letter to Karzai that included the apology was “a lengthy, three-page letter on a host of issues, several sentences of which relate to this matter,” according to the travel pool report.

Here an article,  Lessons from Argentina’s Economic Collapse, was written by a man who lived through this.   He gives very good insight on survival during a crisis like this.   People still had to go about their daily lives; make a living, raise a family, go to work, try to shop, and live with lawlessness in the streets as public services collapsed and police were virtually non-existent.    Remember, cops and military have their own families to worry about.   Just look at Katrina and the breakdown of law enforcement.

Some facts:

1) Those that want to harm you/steal from you don’t come with a pirate flag waving over their heads.

2) Neither do they start shooting at you 200 yards away.

3) They wont come riding loud bikes or dressed with their orange, convict just escaped from prison jump suits, so that you can identify them the better. Nor do they all wear chains around their necks and leather jackets. If I had a dollar for each time a person that got robbed told me, “They looked like NORMAL people, dressed better than we are”, honestly, I would have enough money for a nice gun. There are exceptions, but don’t expect them to dress like in the movies.

4) A man with a wife and two or three kids can’t set up a watch. I don’t care if you are SEAL, SWAT or John Freaking Rambo, no 6th sense is going to tell you that there is a guy pointing a gun at your back when you are trying to fix the water pump that just broke, or carrying a big heavy bag of dried beans you bought that morning.

Take some time and read the article.   It’s an eye opener.   Both Dick Armey and Jesse Jackson are predicting civil unrest in America.  Both are predicting for almost the same reasons but here you have a Conservative and Liberal both making the same prediction.  Armey for economic reasons and Jackson not only for economic but also for political reasons if Obama looses.   Basic line is to be prepared.   The State of Wyoming is doing just that.

Forbes:

Michelle Obama just ended a conference phone call meant to inspire young voter participation in the 2012 campaign. Her strategy? Double down on Pell Grants.

In exactly 30 minutes (you have to hand it to them for being well-organized), the first lady mentioned Pell Grants twice (e.g. “We doubled Pell Grants. Three million more Americans have grants”), and she referenced the cost of education at least four times.

The First Lady’s remarks came after a brief statement that came off so quickly that it seemed read from a campaign press release by Shari Totten, a freshman at UNC Charlotte. Ms. Totten noted that she wouldn’t have been able to afford college had it not been for her government loans. Now, not only can she afford college, but she doesn’t have to work a job while taking classes, and this has allowed her to carry two majors, a minor (how does she already know this as a freshman?), AND campaign for the Obama team.

According to the First Lady, the President constantly stays up late thinking about “folks who desperately want to attend college but can’t afford it.” He and the First Lady both respond the same way: “We gotta fix that.”

The Pell Grant and college affordability story seems to have become a favorite tale of the President, the First Lady, and the President’s reelection team. It came up at a recent speech in Michigan, at the State of the Union, in a speech in Virginia, and in the President’s budget. See the posts I’ve done here, here, and here to get more details on the President’s attack on student debt.

Let’s ignore the fact that subsidizing education only keeps the prices of college artificially high. And let’s ignore the fact that this money isn’t coming from nowhere, it’s coming from our increasingly large debt.

(you and I know he has yet to stay up late and worry about the above! )

I remember the old days of nickel gas! Yes, a nickel a gallon! Then the days of gas wars where in Oklahoma (I lived there for some time) the gas stations could not go below the tax rate, so gas went down to eleven cents and change. Then the outrage from me when the prices went slowly up, until in 1973 or thereabouts, it seemed to have exploded to around 50 cents a gallon! Oh the good old days!

I don’t know the big reason for the current high gas prices. For sure, it seems like the Obama regime is on a blame Bush kick over this!  Speculation has it that it’s the “speculators” driving the price up.  Or that Iran is no longer going to trade oil for U.S. Dollars.  Or that this is what the current administration and it’s “green” followers want. And yes, I subscribe totally to that last sentence! Watch the price drop like a rock the closer we get to election day in November!

Of course, there are those who wonder why gas prices are so high since, after all, Bush went into Iraq to get all of their oil.  With all of that oil on the market gas prices should be cheap, right?  Yes, the left loves to say this with no proof at all!

Warren Buffett, who controls the biggest shareholding of the No. 1 U.S. mortgage lender, said banks were victimized by some homeowners who refinanced their loans before getting evicted.

“Large numbers of people who have ‘lost’ their house through foreclosure have actually realized a profit because they carried out refinancings earlier that gave them cash in excess of their cost,” Buffett, chairman and chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK/A), said Feb. 25 in his annual letter. “In these cases, the evicted homeowner was the winner, and the victim was the lender.”

And you thought the United Nations was a big happy family of all countries! Ha…they are as dysfunctional as can be and so damn islamic! Reason for the USA to dump the UN!

(CNSNews.com) – U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon sent his Mideast envoy to deliver a message on his behalf to a conference in Qatar this week whose aims include “pointing out the weaknesses of the Jew’s historical arguments backing their claims” to Jerusalem.

Co-hosted by the Qatar government and the Arab League, the two-day “International Conference for the Defense of Jerusalem” brought together politicians from across the Arab and Muslim world, representatives of pro-Palestinian organizations, clerics and academics.

Participants included Yusuf al-Qaradawi, an influential Sunni cleric regarded as the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, who has drawn criticism for comments about Palestinian suicide bombings.

Ban’s Middle East envoy, Robert Serry, shared the platform with the emir of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Al-Arabi, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary-General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu and Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

One thief giving to another thief. Wonder if the lawyers for Madoff’s victims will want that money back?

Madoff-invested charities contributed $365k to Media Matters

Daily Caller

Media Matters for America accepted funding from at least three foundations whose money “grew” under the fraudulent stewardship of the now-incarcerated Bernard Madoff. One of those foundations was backed by a man many believe was in cahoots with the legendary financial criminal.

Madoff’s Wall Street empire crumbled in late 2008 after federal authorities were tipped off to his multibillion-dollar Ponzi scheme.

Among those institutions that saw their fortunes evaporate were foundations that had placed their trust and investments in Madoff’s surreal enterprise. Three of those philanthropies contributed money to Media Matters in 2008, at least one of which may have even been complicit in Madoff’s scheme.

The Picower Foundation, which The New York Times referred to as “one of the nation’s leading philanthropies,” shuttered its $1 billion enterprise after Madoff’s arrest. Barbara Picower, who co-founded the charity with her late husband, investor Jeffry M. Picower, told the Times in December 2008 that Madoff’s “act of fraud has had a devastating impact on tens of thousands of lives as well as numerous philanthropic foundations and nonprofit organizations.”

But Jeffry Picower was one of Madoff’s single largest beneficiaries, and many believe he was hardly an unwitting victim of the Madoff scheme. According to Rick Stone, an attorney representing a purported class of Madoff victims, Picower could even be seen as a more nefarious actor than Madoff.

Cops armed? Then give the freaking order to shoot these occupier dirtbags!

(Miami Herald) — At least two law enforcement officers were injured Monday during a clash with members of the Occupy movement who were at the state Capitol to protest a rally by a pro-white group.

The clash erupted in the afternoon as California Highway Patrol and Sacramento city police officers were escorting about 35 members of the South Africa Project to a parking garage following their protest outside the Capitol building.

About 50 members of Occupy Oakland began throwing cans and bottles at the South Africa group and at the officers. The Occupy members then rushed the officers as people with the pro-whites group rushed into the parking garage.

A city police officer was injured when a member of the Occupy group jumped on him, and a CHP officer was hurt after being struck by an object. Both were taken from the scene by ambulance. [...]

Earlier, a teenage girl was detained outside the Capitol after police separated Occupy protesters from the group opposing black-on-white violence in South Africa.

The girl with Occupy Oakland was taken to Juvenile Hall after she became combative and assaulted an officer who asked her to pick up litter, California Highway Patrol Officer Sean Kennedy said. He did not have her age or city of residence.

Is this supposed to be the  mythical “recovery” Obama and the MSM have been touting?

(CNBC) — New orders for U.S. manufactured goods fell in January by the most in three years as demand fell across the board from machinery to aircraft, suggesting the economy started the year on weaker footing than expected.

Durable goods orders dropped 4.0 percent, the biggest drop since January 2009 when the country was still mired in a deep recession, according to Commerce Department data on Tuesday.

Economists had forecast orders falling 1.0 percent.

Durable goods range from toasters to big-ticket items like aircraft which are meant to last three years and more.

Excluding transportation, orders fell 3.2 percent. Economists had expected that reading to be flat. Machinery orders dropped 10.4 percent, the largest decline since January 2009.

And then we have the rabid women party….

Only in the warped mind of a liberal is there a “Constitutional right” to snuff out the life of an unborn child.

NOW President Terry O’Neill: The purpose of this bill is simply to stop women from exercising their constitutional right to have an abortion.

To use the word choice in this context, in fact there are a number of people who are beginning to call these bills, ‘The Ritual Humiliation Laws.’ That is their actual purpose, is to ritually humiliate women by acting as if the woman doesn’t know the choice that she is making. All women do.

Many women feel enormous relief after an abortion. For many women, it is a wrenching decision. Everyone’s abortion is her own.
