Tough to quit smoking. Everyone we know who tried the patch, the gums, the pills? Still smoking! We tried cold turkey. Take my word for it, if you want a divorce, go cold turkey. We both decided to start up smoking again to get some peace and quiet and to make up with each other. So now that we moved and firmly ensconced we have decided to once again take the no smoking plunge. Today, got my package of electronic cigarettes (e-cigs). Tried it out and like it quite a bit. So had to order wife her package and an extra package for me.
So when hers comes in, we will be in earnest or something in both having and using e-cigs. From others we know in the family and the friend circles, e-cigs do help more than anything else to quit smoking.
In fact right now using the e-cig, something I could never do with regular cigarettes since we do not smoke in the house and have not done so for years.
Anyways, if you are ready for e-cigs, and ready to quit smoking, here is where to go (I get nothing, dammit, for this plug!):
Bet you won’t hear about this in the media here. Nor will buck ofama and his crew pay any attention to this, and of course McRino McCain will not bother reading this or doing anything about it.
(RT) — Turkish security forces found a 2kg cylinder with sarin gas after searching the homes of Syrian militants from the Al-Qaeda linked Al-Nusra Front who were previously detained, Turkish media reports. The gas was reportedly going to be used in a bomb.
The sarin gas was found in the homes of suspected Syrian Islamists detained in the southern provinces of Adana and Mersia following a search by Turkish police on Wednesday, reports say.
On Monday, Turkish special anti-terror forces arrested 12 suspected members of the Al-Nusra Front, the Al-Qaeda affiliated group which has been dubbed “the most aggressive and successful arm” of the Syrian rebels. The group was designated a terrorist organization by the United States in December.
Police also reportedly found a cache of weapons, documents and digital data which will be reviewed by police.
Following the searches, five of those detained were released following medical examinations at the Forensic Medicine Institution Adana. Seven suspects remain in custody. Turkish authorities are yet to comment on the arrests.

This is again liberalism run amuck. The teacher probably will get a slap on the wrist and told please don’t do this again.
A vocal instructor at a community college in Washington allegedly asked a female high school student to remove her clothes during lessons, and later masturbated while she played the piano.
The woman, who was 17 years old at the time and earning college credit as a high school student, sued the teacher, Kevin Gausepohl, for taking advantage of her sexually. She also sued the state of Washington on the grounds that Tacoma Community College (TCC) failed to protect her.
Gausepohl claimed that he was studying how sexual arousal interacts with vocal range. The woman said she removed some of her clothes and touched herself upon his request.
One day when filming It Started With a Kiss (1959), Glenn Ford and I were rehearsing our lines, and he decided that I was kissable and came at me. I ran — round and round the room several times, until I got tired. Finally I stopped. And he crashed into me, knocking me down. We both started laughing. “Stop chasing me,” I said. “I’m not going to bed with you, so get over it. We’ll work on our lines, but nothing else.” Glenn was always on the make for me. At the time, he was going through a rough divorce with Eleanor Powell. We had divorce in common, but I was not interested in him as a lover. We became friends, and I adored him. When we made The Gazebo (1959) together Glenn Ford and I continued our non-romantic friendship, which lasted until his death in 2006. His son, Peter, took care of him when he was in bad health. For years Glenn was too ill to get out of bed. I told Peter that he should paint naked breasts on the ceiling so Glenn would have something pleasant to look at. He didn’t take my advice. —Excerpt from Unsinkable: A Memoir by Debbie Reynolds
Kaiser was saluted as he entered the Court Street Animal Hospital where he was put to rest Friday.
PLYMOUTH (CBS) — Plymouth Police gathered Friday to say goodbye to their friend and K-9 partner German Shepherd Kaiser.
On Wednesday, the Plymouth Police Working Dog Foundationannounced that Kaiser was suffering from kidney failure and would be laid to rest on Friday.
“Kaiser battled this disease with vigor and toughness like I have never seen before. Although, as of late, the disease has taken the upper hand forcing him out of his craft and ultimately out of this world,” Officer Jamie Lebretton wrote on the foundation’s Facebook page.
Kaiser joined the force in 2011 after being donated to the police department by a local family. He worked primarily with Officer Lebretton.
Shortly before noon, officers gathered outside the Court Street Animal Hospital to salute Kaiser one last time.
He was laid to rest in the Angel View Pet Cemetery in Middleboro.
Afterward, Lebretton posted the following to his friend and partner on Facebook:
“RIP my boy. I could not have asked for a better partner or friend. May you rest easy and wait for me at that sacred bridge. I will be there my friend. I will be there. I will never forget you or our accomplishments. You made me a better person, a better handler, and a better cop. Till we meet again kai. I love you and will miss you daily.”
