Today is earth day. Let’s do something about it. Nah, not going to recycle a thing today, not going to save water by cutting back on shaving.
Earth day is just a day for the enviroweenies to do something that makes them feel good.
Do wonder though, will Al “Fat Ass” Gore celebrate today by eating less, traveling less, turning off some lights?
Food stamp fraud. But don’t expect Eric Holder and the DOJ to do much if any about this.
The buying and selling of food stamps on facebook and twitter and other social media sites.
A follow-up to this morning’s “Chart illustrating the uncanny resemblance of the federal government to an organized criminal operation“:
It’s not enough that tens of billions of dollars are wasted each year on food stamp fraud. One would assume that it’s done surreptitiously and cautiously, away from the public eye. And one would be wrong.
Because it turns out, as Twitchy discovered, that criminals are openly buying and selling food stamps on the social networks.
Food stamps aren’t just a hot topic on Capitol Hill and among presidential candidates. They are also a much-discussed topic on Twitter… According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, food stamp trafficking is illegal … Yet many Twitter users openly discuss the purchase or sale of food stamps:

Justice, Texas style! Got to love some of the quirks of the law and how they are applied in the Lone Star State.
Of course, once Sharpton, Jackson and the other race baiters find out, maybe they will organize marches, get the new black panthers to put out a bounty, get Holder to find a biased judge. Who knows how this will play out.
White guy kills black guy, in auto accident.
A Texas judge sentenced a convicted drunk driver who killed another man in a car crash to revisit the scene of the crash in Houston for the next four Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. while wearing a sign admitting his guilt.
Harris County Judge Mike Fields ordered Michael Giacona, 38, to wear the sign that says he killed Aaron Pennywell, 20. Fields is also forcing Giacona to keep a picture of the June 2011 crash in his living room as part of the punishment.
“Maybe we should try shaming people more often,” retired Travis County Judge Jon Wisser, said. “The law permits a judge to use any reasonable means of punishment.”
Wisser mentioned how in the “old days” guilty individuals were placed in stocks for public humiliation.
Although this wasn’t the victim’s family’s idea, according to the local Mothers Against Drunk Driving chapter they are pleased.
“The mother said she loved the idea because it makes this person, maybe it will help them think twice before they get behind the wheel because it’s my understanding it was this man’s second DWI,” John McNamee, MADD Southeast Texas Affiliate executive director, said.
Not everyone thinks wearing a sign is appropriate.
“I think it’s a little barbaric. I feel like I’m re-reading the Scarlett letter,” said Austinite Keana Culjak-Reif.
According to the judge, a probation officer will visit the crash site to check on Giacona and a probation officer will also be doing random home visits to look for the wrecked car picture.
Making a Shade. Got time on your hands today, how about making a shade. Your wife will love you! Of course the earth day enviroweenies will want to burn down your house or something!

Big Donor to Obama turns ugly on Obama.
Think on this for a bit:
Ah…..MSNBC…going to lead the charge when it comes to yelling about RACE WARFARE! Whitey aint for our islamic dictator, they must be racists!
Via Beltway Confidential:
MSNBC hosts agreed this weekend that white voters hold President Obama to a higher standard than his white predecessors because he is black.
“[Obama] now has a specific record of governing,” MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry said today on her show. “A record that, I contend, because of his race will be held to a much higher standard than it would have been for a white incumbent. Those white voters who found what they were looking for in 2008 will not necessarily be so enthusiastic in 2012.”
Alex Wagner, host of MSNBC’s NOW, agreed. “I think race absolutely has to do with the conversation about reelection,” she said.
This is an old joke!
Notes From The Kitchen Table.
Flushed with victory from my latest convert to conservatism (another citizen saved from the perdition of liberalism), my thoughts turn to the task at hand. That task is the complete and utter destruction of the Marxist/Leninist plague that is the regime of Barack Hussein Obama.
We as patriots know well, maybe better than anyone else, how fragile our freedoms are. We also know that this country cannot survive another four years of the filth and corruption that is the Obama government. Every day brings new revelations of gross irresponsibility, malfeasance in office, outrage after outrage against the institutions and the citizens of this great republic.
The stories we’ve watched play out over the last three plus years are a tapestry of abject failure… a monument to a failed ideology. The parade of malefactors would be comical if it wasn’t so tragic. The rot starts at the top, at the very top, and like rot has worked its way through every level of this government. It’s miscalculation of the greatest order at the absolute highest levels of our government, by an entire class of incompetents on both sides of the political aisle… the DeMarxists on one side and the establishment Repubics on the other. One desperate to retain what power they have left to enslave, the other desperate to maintain a status quo that has been rejected by the great majority of the citizen-patriots of this nation.
