During the Revolutionary War the worst thing a person could be was a “Turncoat” – one who switched sides.
Todays turncoats are: Sens. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., Susan Collins, R-Maine, Dean Heller, R-Nev., John McCain, R-Ariz., Rob Portman, R-Ohio, Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn.
Dean Heller is up for re-election in 2018. However, the following are up for re-election in 2020: Susan Collins, Lamar Alexander, and Shelley Moore Capito are up for re-election. John McCain, Rob Portman, and Lisa Murkowski are up for re-election in 2022. Hopefully their states will ditch these turncoats. The Republican party needs to keep the “Turncoat” designation on these people through up coming elections.
