Why Is Occupy Wall Street Left Off List of Hate Groups…That Includes the Tea Party?

Did you know that the entire Occupy Wall Street and all it’s subsidiaries around our county are left off the list of “hate groups” but that the Tea Party is on it?

You have to wonder what kind of country we live in when a group that espouses free speech, smaller government, and less taxes with no records of violent activity is considered a hate group but OWS, whose members stole, burglarized, defecated on police cars, destroyed and made filthy the interior of buildings, who advocate and threaten violence, who murdered, raped and assaulted people is not.

A clearer picture of what democrats stand for and believe in can not be painted.

You know that MSNBC is not a non-biases  news outlet? They are just a mouthpiece for the entire leftist elite? How else can you be fair if you allow an avowed racist like Al Sharpton use MSNBC for a political rally?

MSNBC host Al Sharpton held a rally today, reenacting the famed civil rights march from Selma to Birmingham. “[I]nstead of protesting Jim Crow segregation and police brutality, he’s opposing voter ID laws, right-to-work laws, and the Alabama illegal immigration bill,” the Washington Examiner reported. It was a political rally, with Sharpton preaching the platform of the Democratic party.

And in fact the political rally was broadcast on cable television. Sharpton’s speech was aired on MSNBC, Sharpton’s employer:

Though opinionated hosts are normal, it is not considered common practice for cable news networks to go this far–and practically host political rallies.

When Glenn Beck, for instance, held his major (non-political) rally on the National Mall a couple years, attracting hundreds of thousands, Fox News, his then employer, actively distanced itself from their employee. “[I]t appears Fox News as a whole and certain elements within Fox News are actively trying to distance themselves from the event,” Mediatite reported at the time.

Ed Schultz and MSNBC Fail to Disclose Union Payments

Jack Coleman at NewsBusters has what could be a pretty big media story. He spent some time digging through union disclosure forms at the Dept. of Labor and found that Ed Schultz has been collecting quite a sum from various unions while working at MSNBC:

In fiscal 2011, Schultz received $190,000 from the Communications Workers of America for what the U.S. Department of Labor categorized as “representational activities.”

For swag like that, you’d think Schultz could at least get it right about the CWA name. Instead, he invariably refers to it as the “Communication” Workers of America when its president, Larry Cohen, is a guest on Schultz’s radio show, as Cohen often is.

Coleman wondered if this could be another Ed Schultz, but no apparently not:

A Labor Department spokesman confirmed to NewsBusters that Schultz received $190,000 from CWA  in fiscal 2011, far from than the $7,500 he was paid by the union a year earlier. The spokesman said unions are mandated to report such payments as required by the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act.

Here’s the issue. As far as anyone can tell, Ed and MSNBC have never disclosed that he is taking serious money from unions while covering their activities on his show.

When then-law student Barack Obama helped lead a rally at Harvard in 1990, Prof. Derrick Bell was not the only radical professor that he was supporting. The future President of the United States was also supporting the notion that Harvard should grant lifetime tenured status to a visiting professor from the University of Pennsylvania named Regina Austin. Just as the views of Derrick Bell are a valid avenue of public inquiry that weren’t properly vetted in the 2008 election, so are the radical views of Regina Austin.

A little background is in order. A June 1990 article in the Harvard Crimson described the situation that Obama, then the President of the prestigious Harvard Law Review, intentionally stepped into:

All year, student activists have been chanting “Regina Austin now, Regina Austin now,” in the hopes that the Law School faculty would appoint Austin to a lifetime post, and make her Harvard’s first tenured minority woman law professor.

Austin, however, has preferred to maintain a low profile. She has said she approves of the activists’ goals, but has nonetheless remained detached from the actual protests, apparently in the hope that her name would not become too closely tied to the student demonstrations.

But it became difficult to remain anonymous after Weld Professor of Law Derrick A. Bell, one of the school’s three tenured Black professors, announced he was taking a leave of absence until the school offered a lifetime post to a Black woman. Immediately, all eyes turned to Austin–the only Black female professor on campus.

Liberals and the entire Obama regime will not take this drug!

(The London Free Press) — A common prescription drug used to treat high blood pressure may also curb racist thoughts, a new U.K. study suggests.

University of Oxford researchers found people who took the drug propranolol showed less implicit racism — automatic, subconscious bias — than those who took a placebo.

Half of study participants were given the drug and the other half received a placebo. They were given prejudice tests before, during and after taking the pills. Participants were asked to quickly categorize positive and negative words with the faces of back and white people.

Although just 36 white men and women took part in the study, it provides new evidence about the processes in the brain that shape implicit racial bias, co-author Sylvia Terbeck said.

“Given the key role that such implicit attitudes appear to play in discrimination against other ethnic groups, and the widespread use of propranolol for medical purposes, our findings are also of considerable ethical interest,” she said.

Hmmm…islamics wasted no time upon our leaving their shit hole country to revert back to the 7th century. No mention of this on liberal press here. Would not look good for Obama.

(Al Arabiya) — Iraqi activists sounded the bell over the killing of dozens of teenagers by religious police for having “emo” haircuts.

Activists told the Cairo-based al-Akhbar daily that at least 90 Iraqi teenagers with “emo” appearances have been stoned to death by the Moral Police in the country in the past month. The violent crackdown against “emo” Iraqi teenagers came after the Iraqi interior ministry declared them as “devil worshippers.”

“The ‘Emo phenomenon’ or devil worshiping is being probed by the Moral Police who have the approval to eliminate it as soon as possible since it’s detrimentally affecting the society and becoming a danger,” a statement by the Interior Ministry said.

“They wear strange, tight clothes that have pictures on them such as skulls and use stationery that are shaped as skulls. They also wear rings on their noses and tongues, and do other strange activities,” the statement added.

The statement said that Iraq’s Moral Police was granted approval by the Ministry of Education to enter Baghdad schools and pinpoint students with Western appearances.

Could anything go right about this move?

(Reuters) — Five Taliban detainees held at the Guantanamo Bay military prison have agreed to be transferred to Qatar, a move Afghanistan believes will boost a nascent peace process, President Hamid Karzai’s spokesman said on Saturday.

The transfer idea is part of U.S. efforts to bring the Taliban to the negotiating table to avoid prolonged instability in Afghanistan after foreign combat troops leave the country at the end of 2014.

“We are hopeful this will be a positive step towards peace efforts,” Karzai’s spokesman Aimal Faizi told Reuters, adding the Taliban detainees would be re-united with their families in Qatar if the transfer takes place.

It would be one of a series of good-faith measures that could set in motion the first substantial political negotiations on the conflict in Afghanistan since the Taliban government was toppled in 2001 in a U.S.-led invasion.

IRAN’S SUPREME LEADER PRAISES OBAMA’S ISRAEL STONEWALLING

President Barack Obama has been working overtime to convince Jewish voters that he’s pro-Israel while simultaneously doing everything he can to keep Israel from taking pre-emptive action against the growing threat in Iran. He’s even offered to give the Israelis “advanced weaponry” systems in exchange for their pledge not to attack Iranian nuclear sites

In other words, the Israelis are being offered advanced weaponry on the condition that they don’t use it. That’s like offering someone a gun on the condition that they never put bullets in it. Whoopee.

Of course the Iranians sure are impressed with the fine job Obama is doing on their behalf, and to prove it, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is praising President Obama for trying to dissuade Israel from attacking Iran. And to hedge his bets, the Khamenei also made it clear that “there would be consequences for the United States… if a premature strike is launched on Iran.”

Gloria Allred is targeting Rush Limbaugh in her latest publicity-seeking campaign.
Allred, whose clientele seems to only include women famous for sensational sexual situations, wants to prosecute Limbaugh for asking his audience what one would call a woman who seeks money for sex: “you’d call that a slut, right?”

“Mr. Limbaugh targeted his attack on a young law student who was simply exercised her free speech and her right to testify before congress on a very important issue to millions of American women and he vilified her. He defamed her and engaged in unwarranted, tasteless and exceptionally damaging attacks on her,” Allred told POLITICO Friday afternoon. “He needs to face the consequences of his conduct in every way that is meaningful.”

As I understand it, Fluke didn’t testify before congress, she spoke in a press conference before a few members of congress. Vastly different.

Allred seeks to prosecute Limbaugh under an anachronistic and sexist Florida law—

But still the majority of Americans want it repealed.

(ABC News) — President Obama tonight honed a defense of his administration’s controversial health care law, calling pledges by his Republican rivals to roll back the legislation an affront to women.

“Because of this law, preventive care is now covered and, yes, that includes preventive care for women: check-ups, mammograms, birth control,” Obama told an applauding crowd of more than 750 campaign donors in Houston.

“So when you see politicians trying to take us back to the days when this care was more expensive and harder to get for women — and I know you’re seeing some of that here in Texas — you just remember we can’t let them get away with it,” he said.

The comments on women and the health care law are a notable, new twist in Obama’s campaign stump speech. Previously, Obama has tended to focus only on provisions of the law that banned preexisting condition restrictions, allowed young adults to remain on their parents’ insurance plans and expanded prescription drug coverage for seniors.

“This is not just a political debate. This is the defining issue of our times,” Obama said later of the ideological debate with Republicans over issues like health care. “A make or break moment.”

Proceeds from both events — Obama’s 35th and 36th of the year — go to the Obama Victory Fund, a joint account of the Obama Campaign and Democratic National Committee, which funnels the first $5,000 of an individual’s contribution to the president and the remainder, up to $30,800, to the DNC.
