Images can be powerful. We have all seen films of the Nuremburg rallies. The torchlight processions, the banners, the chanting crowds: all purposely staged to elevate one man to a status as something more than human, a benevolent leader who promised fairness and payback against the evil enemies of the people. All things were possible through him. The trains would run on time, the capitalists and bankers would pay for taking advantage of the people. Social justice would finally be achieved if only the people would pledge themselves to him.
Juxtapose those images with a 2008 party rally in a Denver stadium. The Greek columns, the giant television screens, the laser light show: all dedicated to elevate a man who promised the wars would end, the earth would heal, and the oceans would halt their rise. Peace and justice at last. He was the one we were waiting for. Goebbels would have been proud.

Fascists, communists and other dictators discredited, if not outlawed, religion. The state was the ultimate authority, moral or otherwise. The state in many cases was personified by an individual from whom all things flowed. What did Christians do to keep them from power? The same as today, not enough. From the “feel good, rock and roll, light show” mega churches to the original Bride of Christ, only token, unorganized resistance has come forth. In fact, past devout Christians were better organized and more numerous than today and were still unsuccessful.

Many have argued that the left is fighting for freedom from religion. No, there will always be religion. Fundamental change was promised; change from God given rights to state granted rights are being delivered. When the state eliminates God, the state becomes god. And the state is a jealous god, especially when it takes guidance from a book dedicated to Lucifer.

A singer-songwriter with an ardent and growing YouTube following is the target of a federal child pornography investigation focusing on his alleged exchange of naked photos with underage female fans, according to an FBI affidavit…
In late-December, agents raided the upstate New York home of Michael Lombardo, a 23-year-old musician whom the FBI described as having a “following of female fans ranging from middle-school aged children through college-age students.”
The federal probe was triggered after a Boston University student told agents that Lombardo, had arranged a New Year’s Eve sexual liaison with a 15-year-old girl who was planning to travel from her Indiana home to meet him.
In an FBI interview, the teenager said she “received nude pictures of Lombardo and had, at his direction, sent nude pictures of herself to him.” When agents examined the girl’s cell phone, they observed “multiple nude images of Lombardo” and “multiple explicit text messages” between her and Lombardo. The messages included “plans to meet as well as explicit discussions of specific sexual acts.”
According to the FBI affidavit sworn by Agent Frederick Bragg, two other female minors, both 17, have told agents that they recently exchanged naked photos with Lombardo and engaged in sexually explicit discussions with him via Skype. Additionally, one of the girls “reported that Lombardo masturbated on a web camera and instructed her to masturbate on camera as well.”

The Hill)— Two prominent Republican U.S. senators urged that the United States arm opposition forces in Syria Sunday as the government of Bashar al-Assad continued a bloody crackdown on the protests that have engulfed the nation.
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who both serve on the Senate Armed Services committee, argued that arming rebel fighters in the country could help beat back a Syrian government with close ties to Iran.
“Breaking Syria apart from Iran could be as important to containing a nuclear Iran as sanctions,” Graham said at a press conference in Kabul, according to the New York Times. “If the Syrian regime is replaced with another form of government that doesn’t tie its future to the Iranians, the world is a better place.”
Graham and McCain were in Afghanistan as part of a larger tour through the Middle East. The former GOP presidential candidate said that Syrian rebels needed help to defend themselves.
“I believe there are ways to get weapons to the opposition without direct United States involvement,” McCain said. “The Iranians and the Russians are providing Bashar Assad with weapons. People that are being massacred deserve to have the ability to defend themselves.”
“So I am not only not opposed, but I am in favor of weapons being obtained by the opposition,” McCain added.

The website calls for the implementation of these aspects on a gathering scheduled on 3 March, 2012.
The website splashes a slideshow depicting Fatwa against Indian political parties, with pictures of Manmohan Singh, LK Advani, Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi displayed on the front page, ostensibly their prime targets. A war cry has been issued calling for the axe to be laid on Bollywood in 2012. The slide show ends with a ‘beheaded’ statue of Lord Shiva, with the warning: Islamic destruction of Indian idols and statues. The website also refers to Father of Indian nation Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi as tyrant Mohandas Gandhi.
The agenda on destruction of idols has been made clear in the website. The site calls Islamic rule of India, before the British conquest as ‘glorious Islamic past’ and makes it clear that ‘large scale projects outlining the destruction of public idols and statues will most likely be enforced’.

Dozens of letters written by some of the world’s most dangerous extremists – including those locked up for murderous plots in Britain – have been published on MuslimPrisoners.com
The hate-filled messages celebrate murder of innocent people and urge fresh atrocities against the West.
The website is being used as a networking tool for the jihadist militants – many with links to al-Qaeda – and encourages the public to send emails, with the promise that their letters will be passed onto the inmates.
Its users include notorious hate preachers Abu Hamza and Abu Qatada. who was released under strict bail conditions, which include a ban on him using the internet, this month.
Leaders of terrorist plots targeting passenger planes and London landmarks are also said to have used the website, including Hussain Osman, jailed for his botched attempt to blow up Shepherd’s Bush Tube station in 2005.
It is claimed the website was set up by Abdul Muhid, a member of the banned Al-Muhajiroun group, who has served time in jail for inciting murder and hatred during protests over Prophet Mohammed cartoons.
The Sunday Times reported that among messages posted on the website, are some from Abdulla Ahmed Ali, caged for at least 40 years as leader of a suicide plot to blow up trans-Atlantic passenger jets.
Ahmed hails the ‘humiliating defeat’ inflicted on NATO forces in Afghanistan by the Taliban.
His message – posted last month – read: ‘If the mushriks [non believers] can leave their families and sacrifice their lives and limbs to occupy, enslave and oppress the ummah [global Muslim community] then we too can sacrifice 100 times that to defend it.’
