US will not need drones to spy on people

WTO Wants To Replace “Made In USA” Labels With “Made In The World”

Okay, slowly but surely, this planet of ours is moving to a one world government. Question is, do we allow this or do we fight it tooth and nail?

The World Trade Organization is moving closer to eliminating country-of-origin labels and replacing them with “Made in the World” initiative labels because they say we need to “reduce public opposition to free trade” and “re-engineer global governance.”

An America that prides itself on independence and celebrates that independence every year on July 4 should want absolutely no part in allowing the advancement of global governance that aims to eliminate the one thing that allows American consumers to know from where the products they buy originate: The “Made in USA” label.

To be sure, the “Made in USA” label alone does not tell the entire story where all the jobs are located for every product that is made, since it does not include where jobs such as engineering, research and development, design, testing, administration, advertising, marketing, etc. are located. It also doesn’t indicate who owns the company making a given product, which would reveal where the profits go, where the taxes are paid, and, a good indication of which country has many of the jobs types listed in the previous sentence.

But the answer to the incompleteness of what the current “Made in USA” label does reveal is not to scrap country-of-origin labels like the “guided-by-global-governance” World Trade Organization wants to do altogether, but rather to keep and strengthen our current country-or-origin labels and supplement them with even more information.

One wonders, how does one lose a drone? And why would it crash?

A U.S. Navy drone flying out of Patuxent River Naval Air Station crashed Monday after operators lost contact with the aircraft, NBC News reported.

The BAMS-D (Broad Area Maritime Surveillance), an unmanned demonstrator aircraft that’s still in development, went down in a swampy area of nearby Bloodworth Island on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

There were no reported injuries on the ground and no damage to property. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The Coast Guard set up a safety zone around the marshy area along the Nanticoke River where the crash occurred, The Associated Press reported.

The BAMS-D is basically the Navy’s version of the Global Hawk surveillance drone, made by Northrop Grumman.

For those interested in such things.

Josh Weed is a devout Mormon, happily married to a woman — and gay.

The Washington therapist came out in a post on his blog last week:

Some might assume that because I’m married to a woman, I must be bisexual. This would be true if sexual orientation was defined by sexual experience. Heck, if sexual orientation were defined by sexual experience, I would be as straight as the day is long even though I’ve never been turned on by a Victoria’s Secret commercial in my entire life. Sexual orientation is defined by attraction, not by experience. In my case, I am attracted sexually to men. Period. Yet my marriage is wonderful, and Lolly and I have an extremely healthy and robust sex life. How can this be?

This video reveals the reactions the couple has received since he broke the news: “We feel loved.”

President Barack Obama wants his 2012 re-election campaign to focus on Gov. Mitt Romney’s private-sector record, but his own private-sector history shows that he promoted and profited from the nation’s disastrous real-estate bubble. One striking example comes from the president’s 1995 housing-discrimination class action lawsuit: It provided him with legal fees, greased his political donations and boosted his role in Chicago politics.

While he made personal gains, his lead African-American client, Selma Buycks-Roberson, declared bankruptcy in 2001 — and again in 2008 as she received a home foreclosure notice, according to unpublicized federal and city records obtained by The Daily Caller.

Buycks-Roberson is still likely underwater on her mortgage, owing more to her home lender than the property is worth. Her house has dropped in value by 30 percent since 2010. Its 2011 assessed value for tax purposes was $97,520, well below her 2006 mortgage of $112,400. Meanwhile, the online real-estate database Zillow estimates that home is worth just $69,400 today.

Buycks-Roberson’s story is not an anomaly. It can be found repeatedly throughout Obama’s Chicago.

By 2012, the average home equity in Chicago’s African-American neighborhoods had shriveled to $6,800, according to a March report from the Woodstock Institute, a liberal Chicago housing advocacy group. The average equity in homes in the city’s white neighborhoods is $108,000.

Really, the race card again?

Beltway Confidential:

Angela Rye, Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus, argued that President Obama has struggled during his first term due to racially-motivated opposition from conservatives who dislike having a black president.

“This is probably the toughest presidential term in my lifetime,” Rye said during CSPAN’s Q&A yesterday. “I think that a lot of what the president has experienced is because he’s black. You know, whether it’s questioning his intellect or whether or not he’s Ivy League. It’s always either he’s not educated enough or he’s too educated; or he’s too black or he’s not black enough; he’s too Christian or not Christian enough. There are all these things where he has to walk this very fine line to even be successful.”

She said that “a lot” of conservative opposition is racially-charged, citing the use of the word “cool” in an attack ad launched by Karl Rove’s Crossroads GPS superPAC. “There’s an ad, talking about [how] the president is too cool, [asking] is he too cool? And there’s this music that reminds me of, you know, some of the blaxploitation films from the 70s playing in the background, him with his sunglasses,” Rye said. “And to me it was just very racially-charged. They weren’t asking if Bush was too cool, but, yet, people say that that’s the number one person they’d love to have a beer with. So, if that’s not cool I dont know what is. Even ‘cool,’ the term ‘cool,’ could in some ways be deemed racial [in this instance].”

Rye said “I don’t know” when asked if black enthusiasm for Obama might be lower than in 2008, but added that the Democrats have to explain how voter ID laws are racist to help motivate black voters.

I would hate to have to listen to this idiotic woman.

Washington Examiner:

Last summer, Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., drew attention to discontent with President Obama in the black community when she asked the audience at a Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) town hall in Detroit to “unleash” her and the CBC on Obama.

Waters was trying to appease “a very angry, primarily black audience,” CBC executive director Angela Rye explained during a CSPAN interview yesterday. “This was one of the scariest moments of my life,” Rye said in an interview indicating — though she downplayed the fact — the degree of frustration with President Obama felt by the black community at that time. “I was scared for the members,” she said, adding that she considered shutting down the meeting and calling “to have [the CBC members] escorted out by the police.”

Rye denied that the audience was angry at Obama, despite the criticism of the president expressed by Waters and the crowd. “They weren’t angry about the president, they were angry about the economy and the state of jobs or lack thereof in Detroit. It was scary,” she said. “And I think the reason for that was I’ve never seen people so angry and so hurt and so frustrated and you went into Detroit for that jobs initiative, it was like a ghost town in downtown Detroit.”

Well now it seems everything is racist and everybody on the right is racist!

Dear MoveOn member,

According to a prominent Friday Tampa Bay Times editorial, Florida Republican Governor Rick Scott is “standing between Floridians and their right to vote as U.S. citizens.” He’s the new George Wallace — the Alabama governor who defied the federal government in order to deny African Americans their rights as citizens 49 years ago this month.

Gov. Wallace was the face of the original Jim Crow. Now, Gov. Scott is the face of Jim Crow 2.0, as he refuses to halt his Latino-targeted voter purge, in defiance of federal law and a Department of Justice order.

Gov. Scott’s racist voter purge began nine months ago when Florida’s Division of Elections began challenging the rights of 180,000 voters based on bad information, and with the election drawing nearer, it’s coming to a head right now. When the Department of Justice called on Florida to end the program, Gov. Scott responded this past Wednesday that they would continue despite warnings that they may be in violation of federal law.

Attorney General Eric Holder can block Gov. Scott from illegitimately kicking Floridians off the voter roll. Attorney General Holder has the authority to sue the state and block the purge because of the harm it does to Latino voters. He must act today to ensure that the courts strike this program down before it’s too late — and we lose another election.

I think their is a big threat here!

Beltway Confidential:

Race riots could ensue if George Zimmerman — the shooter in the Trayvon Martin case — is found not guilty of second-degree murder by a Florida jury, the Congressional Black Caucus’ executive director allowed yesterday.

“I think a ‘not guilty’ verdict is extremely problematic in 2012,” said Angela Rye, the Executive Director and General Counsel for the Congressional Black Caucus. She said, “I don’t know,” when asked what would happen in the event of an acquittal. “I know that folks have talked about race riots — I don’t know that. I think that we live in a day and age where people are educated enough not to do that. I know that his mother and his father have asked for peace, peaceful solutions, not repaying evil for evil, so I’m not sure. I think it would set us back . . . there’s no value to racial violence or any other kind of violence.”

President Obama, Stop Pissing On My Dream!

Go to school, get a job, marry a nice woman, buy a nice house and raise a family.

That’s what my parents expected of me, and quit frankly that’s what I expected of myself.

In fact that’s really the only thing I ever wanted. It’s the American way of life, right?

Forget that times have changed, and it’s much more difficult to achieve this way of life unless both parents work, it’s still possible. And it remains the dream of millions in today’s society!

But now here comes Mr. Government to put a kink in our plans, this time dressed as the Tax Man. You see, many families don’t pay their fair share according to this administration. Families earning $250,000 a year or more can certainly afford to pay more.
