“No, you owe us reparations!”

“No, you owe us reparations!”

Whenever Democrats push race to the forefront of the news, reparations pop up. The theory is that, because their forebears were kidnapped from Africa and enslaved in America, blacks will never catch up economically to whites. It doesn’t matter that there are no slaves or slave-owners today; that most whites are not descended from slave-owners; or that racism impoverished, rather than enriched the South.

Scott Adams’s brilliant insight cuts through all this: the comparison isn’t between black wealth and white wealth in America. Instead, the comparison must be the difference between blacks’ average net worth in America and blacks’ average net worth in Africa. After all, the act of stealing blacks from Africa is the “but for cause” of all wrongs done to blacks.

HELP … WHO AM I?

(not MY work, but I agree)

I used to think I was pretty much just a regular person, but I was born white, into a two-parent household which now, whether I like it or not, makes me “Privileged”, a racist and responsible for slavery.

I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which by today’s standards, makes me a fascist because I plan, budget and support myself and my family.

I graduated high school, went into the army, got out, got professionally qualified and have always held a job. I now find out that I am not here because I earned it, but because I was “advantaged”.

I am heterosexual, which now makes me a homophobe. I am not a Muslim, which now labels me as an infidel .
I am older than 60, making me a useless eater who doesn’t understand Facebook, Instagram, or Snapchat.

I think and I reason, and I doubt much of what “mainstream” media tells me, which makes me a “Right-wing conspiracy nut”.

I am proud of my heritage and our inclusive American culture, making me a xenophobe.

I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual’s merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.

I believe our system guarantees freedom of effort – not freedom of outcome or subsidies which makes me a borderline sociopath.

I believe in the defence and protection of this country for and by all citizens, now making me a militant.

I am proud of our flag, what it stands for and the many who died to let it fly, so I must be an imperialist and a racist.

Please help me come to terms with the new me because I’m just not sure who I am any more!

Funny – this has all taken place over the last 7 or 8 years!

And, if all this nonsense wasn’t enough to deal with, now I don’t even know which toilet to use!

Today in 1926 – The College Board administers the first SAT exam. Now there’s a move in progress to do away with the SAT and its sister ACT as a criteria for admission because scores tend to be tough on preferred races.

David R. Nickel, according to the FBI, held up a Portland bank for 50 cents.

Mimicking a gun with his fingers and grasping a large stick of wood, he took the change from the confused U.S. Bank teller, according to a criminal complaint. Then he walked across the street to buy a Big Gulp drink at a 7-Eleven store.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Three protesters were arrested by state troopers Tuesday night after lawmakers failed to pass a resolution honoring the life of 17-year-old Ashanti Posey.

Posey was a student at Hillsboro High School. She was shot to death in her car in April.

Representative Harold Love introduced a resolution Tuesday to honor her life. However, one House member said he couldn’t support the measure.

Metro police said Posey had been involved in the sale of a small amount of marijuana just before her death.

“I did some research and looked up exactly what led to this young lady’s untimely demise and due to the behavior and I will say choices that she was involved in at the time,” Rep. William Lamberth (R-Portland) said. “I cannot in good conscience vote in favor of this.”
