The animation Lilo & Stitch (2002) is known to be set in Hawaii. Tells the story of a young girl named Lilo who accidentally meets a unique animal.
Lilo decides to adopt the animal named Stitch. He thinks of him as a dog even though Stitch is actually an alien who landed on Earth after being exiled from his home planet.
Stitch originally had six hands. But when he meets many humans, he can manipulate his body into having four arms. Stitch is prone to destruction and often gets into trouble. The two eventually form a close bond and become ‘ohana’, aka family.
Lilo & Stitch isn’t the first Disney animated film to be turned into live-action. Previously, this production house had reworked live-action versions of Cinderella, The Jungle Book, and Beauty and the Beast.
