We missed this story when it originally happened in mid-March (there was a lot going on then), but new developments and totalitarian actions by the authorities since then make this a story that you really need to know about.

First, we have to tell you what originally happened. According to police, they served a no-knock warrant on 21-year-old Duncan Lemp at 4:30 a.m. in Potomac, Maryland – a ritzy Washington, DC suburb. Police say they received an “anonymous tip” that Duncan Lemp was in possession of an assault rifle.

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — California has become the first state to borrow money from the federal government so it can continue paying out claims for unemployment benefits during the pandemic.

The Employment Development Department confirmed Monday that as of April 30, California has borrowed $348 million from the federal government.

So let me get this straight: California has paid out I don’t know how many millions of dollars in stimulus payments to illegals who are in this country in violation of federal law, and California does everything they can to thwart ICE from doing their job, but now they’re borrowing money from the federal government to pay unemployment claims because they’re broke? And the government gave it to them?

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. (AP) — A woman killed by an alligator at a South Carolina pond told a friend she wanted to get close to the animal and didn’t scream as it attacked her and dragged her into the water, according to a police report.

Cynthia Covert, 58, died in the attack Friday afternoon on Kiawah Island, Charleston County deputies said.
